The final exam is over. The relief was felt by Lara. That means Lara will escape Davina's distraction and start her new life on campus.
Lara studied hard to get into the university she wanted with a scholarship program. The entrance exam will be held in 2 weeks and every day Lara comes to the city library to study.
"Honey, tomorrow's the day after prom, isn't it? Don't forget to take Lara with you" Wilson said between dinner with Davina and his wife.
"Yes, Dad," said Davina with a heavy heart because she could not refuse his father's words.
"I don't like it when you get too close to her, honey," said Theresa.
"Honey, he's a good, smart kid. Later he can help Davina in our company. He's a valuable asset" Wilson replied.
Davina held the fork and knife in her hand, furious at the words of her father, who had always been proud of his golden son.
"But don't flatter her too much. Davina is much more valuable. Don't forget your own son, Wil," said Theresa, who seemed to know what her only daughter was feeling.
"They're both my favorite children, honey. And they could become brothers. Isn't that a good thing? His intelligence must be directed to useful things. And I don't want him stuck on the streets anymore" Wilson said.
Theresia could only remain silent because she thought in Wilson's eyes, Lara was absolutely impeccable.
"Be nice to Lara, Davina" said Wilson, who heard little chatter about Davina's mistreatment of Lara at school.
"Yes, Dad," Davina replied with a heavy heart.
Davina is upset that Wilson often talks about Lara rather than her because Lara always brings achievements every time there is a lesson olympiade in the title.
That makes Davina hate Lara even more and hope Lara's life falls apart. He even wished Lara wasn't in this world anymore.
Davina doesn't want to see Lara succeed and she will do anything to thwart Lara's efforts towards success. He won't let Lara's path smooth in reaching for her future. He doesn't want Lara to surpass him in the future.

"Look at the criminal girl. He wants to find the face of all the men here" said Sherry, one of Davina's friends.
Davina looked sharply at Lara. He didn't dare bully Lara because next to Lara was Giorgio, the man he liked. Davina doesn't like to see that.
By late afternoon, the party decorations were done. Lara refuses Giorgio's invitation to drive her home. Davina who was behind them looked surly.
After Giorgio's car leaves, Davina's car stops next to Lara. Davina opened the window of her car and looked at Lara with a sick look.
"This take. You don't have any clothes for prom, do you?" said Davina throwing a pink dress at Lara.
Lara picked up the clothes that fell on the asphalt of the road in front of the school gate.
"Thank you" said Lara.
"Daddy told me to give you my old dress. And I think that's the worst. It's perfect for you" Davina said, telling her driver to leave.
Lara held tightly onto the dress with a sharp gaze toward Davina's car that had left.
Then Lara walked towards her small apartment rented by Davina's father. Lara was quite grateful for that. He doesn't live on the streets anymore.
Now the focus is just learning and learning so that his future improves. Her biggest obstacle right now was just the distraction from Davina that she could still endure.
Having lived the hardships of life in prison and the streets, Lara became a mentally and physically strong child. His patience is still on the brink of the lower limit and he does not really bother small disturbances such as Davina and her friends.
