The next day, Lara and Phoenix work as usual. There's no honeymoon or anything for now.
Lara's work piled up too much because of her departure yesterday.
Mr. Silas actually gave Lara time for her honeymoon. But Lara rejected it because she thought it was something that didn't really matter.
And Phoenix could only follow Lara's will.
"He's still working with the Phoenix company?" lara asked one of her assistants, Beatrice.
"Yes, Miss. But there seems to be a change in the leadership structure at the company. I heard the news that the CEO will be replaced" replied Beatrice.
"Hmm, thanks for the information, Beatrice. Go back to work" said Lara.
"Oh yes, congratulations on your marriage, Miss Lara," Beatrice said.
"Thank you," Lara replied flatly as usual.
Beatrice came out.
Iris who was beside Lara looked to see the seriousness of Lara's face which she rarely saw first. It's true, Lara would turn a little cold if she were here.
"Oh yes, Miss. Will it be noon I need to arrange your schedule with mister Phoenix?" ask Iris.
"No need. I'm very busy today. You go to the secretary room. There's a lot of work you can do" replied Lara.
"Good, Miss." Iris came out of Lara's room.

"So Phoenix just replaced his CEO and demoted Davina?" muttered Lara while leaning on her big chair.
"You're too good to her, Honey. All right, I'll act alone if it's like that." Lara racked her brain and found a pretty good idea.
Lara called someone and talked about something quite important like that.
"Do it very cleanly" Lara said at the end of the conversation.
"Good, Miss. I'll handle this."
Lara hung up her phone and her slanted smile was on its back as if waiting for Davina's destruction.
Soon, her phone rang and Kara picked it up.
"What's wrong?" ask Lara.
"You're not romantic at all, Baby," replied Phoenix across the street.
"I don't understand" said Lara.
"Easy ... Oh yeah, we'll have lunch together. I'll pick you up" Phoenix said.
"No, I'm very busy today. Very very very busy. So no one should bother me including you" Lara replied.
"It's up to you" replied Lara not to bother.
"Okay, I love you" Phoenix said.
"Hmm," Lara answered briefly.
"You didn't answer?" ask Phoenix.
"I answered him" replied Lara.
"Oh my ... I'll bite you later" Phoenix said.
"Do I have to say it? Just once is enough, right?" ask Lara.
"That's a must you say, honey," Phoenix replied.
"Later I'll say it" said Lara.
"Oh God ... This woman really sucks," Phoenix said.
"You just found out?" said Lara.
"OK okay ... All right, I'll be there later" Phoenix said and hung up.
Lara shut her phone. "I love you" she whispered.
His smile was slightly turned upside down and he felt that there were flowers scattered in his heart.
Then Lara shook her head and put the phone back on her desk.
By noon, Phoenix had already come to bring some sort of food for Lara.
Lara looked excited to see the arrival of Phoenix. He immediately got out of his chair and approached Phoenix.
Lara took the package of her husband's hand and placed it on the table.
"Cambi ... Are you okay?" ask Phoenix.
"Yes, I'm okay. Why?" ask Lara while arranging her food at the table.
"You didn't kiss me first and you were more interested in the food" Phoenix said.
"You're spoiled. I was very hungry and wanted to eat soon" replied Lara.
Phoenix was still in place until Lara stood up and approached Phoenix and kissed her lips.
"Thank you for the food. And I love you," said Lara.
And the Phoenix smile automatically expands because of that simple thing. It couldn't be said to be simple if it was done by Lara.
