"What are you doing here? Come home with me" said Galy.
Lara did not answer and seemed to think.
"Come on, don't think too much." Galy pulled Lara and Iris's hand which seemed to understand the situation immediately running behind Lara.
Then they got into Galy's car which had a driver in it.
"Let's go in" said Galy and she looked towards Iris.
"She's my personal assistant, Aunty," said Lara.
Galy smiled at Iris. "Thank you for looking after my son-in-law."
Iris smiled and looked respectfully.
Then the three of them got into the car. Lara and Galy sat on the back bench, while Iris sat on the front bench with the driver.
Along the way, Galy holds Lara's hand and never lets go as if she's afraid that Lara will run away again.
Galy doesn't ask Lara anything at all because maybe it'll bother Lara. He was trying to understand Lara's position.
Being pregnant is complex and quite emotionally draining and makes a woman more sensitive.
Galy thinks Lara went away temporarily to calm her mind.
"Have you had dinner?" ask Galy.
"Here you go" Lara answered.
"Not yet" said Iris chimed in.
"Oh my ... It's 9pm and you haven't eaten?"
"I ate the bread" replied Lara.
"Pedro, find a restaurant near here" Galy told the driver.
"Okay, ma'am," replied Pedro.
Lara once thought, Galy did this because Lara was pregnant with her future granddaughter.
But that at least makes her a little happy and feeling cared for.
Iris who was in front, seemed to smile seeing the Miss so noticed by her future in-laws.
Arriving at the restaurant, Lara orders food as well as Iris.
Galy did not, because she had eaten at the hotel with Heidi - a friend and stepmother of one of her daughters-in-law.
"Hello, Honey. What's up?" ask Galy.
"Where's mommy? It's late and mommy's not in the mansion yet. Is mommy still with aunty Heidi?" ask Velvet.
"Mommy is with Lara" Galy replied.
"What's? How could? Where's mommy now? I'll follow you there" said Velvet.
"No need, dear. Lara is still eating and after this mommy will go straight to the mansion" Galy replied.
"Alright, be careful on the road, Mom," ucao Lara and then Galy hung up on her phone.
"Is that Velvet's sister?" ask Lara.
"Hmm, we just came from New York yesterday. Velvet forced her here to come look for you" said Galy.
Lara smiled hearing that.
After finishing his dinner, they headed straight for the mansion.
"Is Phoenix there?" ask Lara.
"No, I haven't told her yet" replied Galy who was still holding Lara's hand.
"I won't run, Aunty," said Lara.
Galy laughed softly and rubbed the back of Lara's hand.
"You'll be my daughter-in-law. I'm sorry if any of my actions offended you" Galy said.
"Aunty happy I'm pregnant?" ask Lara.
"of course. Which grandmother is not happy when her grandchildren will grow up" replied Galy.
"But I didn't meet the expectations of aunty's daughter-in-law criteria" Lara said.
"I will accept whoever my son chooses and that makes him happy" Galy said.
"Phoenix happy with me?" ask Lara not sure.
Galy looked at Lara.
"Of course, honey. Seeing her bewildered looking for you like crazy means she loves you so much and is happy with you" Galy said.
'Really?' inner Lara couldn't believe it.
