TOK TOK TOK ...
A knock was heard on Lara's door as Lara and her handsome husband kissed.
"Take me off" said Lara and released the Phoenix hand that was on her waist.
Lara removed her lipstick that was smudged on her lips as well as Phoenix's lips. Then Lara went down and the table and tidied up her slightly messy clothes.
Phoenix also tidied up Lara's hair which slightly untied her.
"Come in" said Lara.
Beatrice walked in and walked over to Lara's desk. Behind Beatrice was someone she knew very well.
"There's a guest for you, Miss," said Beatrice and saw Davina behind her.
Davina doesn't know if there's a Phoenix here.
"What's Davina?" phoenix asked first because Phoenix had actually warned Davina not to meet Lara for whatever reason.
"I want to talk to Lara," Davina replied a little awkwardly.
"What's wrong?" ask Lara.
"Beatrice go out" Lara told the assistant.
Beatrice came out of Lara's room.
"I just wanted to congratulate you and Phoenix, Lara," Davina said.
"You don't have to come here just to congratulate me" Phoenix said.
"Is there anything you want to say besides that?" ask Lara again.
Davina was silent for a while then she dared herself to stare at the Phoenix.
"Was it because of my enmity with Lara, you kicked me out of the leadership seat of my own company, Phoenix?" ask Davina.
"Yes," Lara replied without waiting for a reply from Phoenix.
"It doesn't make sense. My performance was very good and I managed to run the company very well. But you lowered my position just because of a woman?" ask Davina sharply.
"What's my fault? Just because of her?" Davina pointed at Lara.
"I'm his wife if you forget, Davina. And I'm not 'JUST HIM'. I'm his wife" explained Lara firmly with a dismissive smile at Davina.
Davina was speechless because of those words from Lara. How hurt his heart was to hear that.
"You're so mean, Lara. You're so mean. You used Phoenix to get back at me" Davina said.
"You'd better go home, Davina. Don't make things worse" Phoenix said, because he didn't want any commotion here.
"I just took your position, Davina. If I wanted to, I could've hired a man to rape you like you did me before" Lara said.
"CANDY!!" shout Davina.
"DAVINA!! Come out, please" cried Phoenix who stood in front of Lara for fear that Davina would do something bad to Lara who was pregnant.
"I've bowed down apologizing to you, Lara. Is it less? I'm really sorry to you for my bad treatment of you first" said Davina, who began to cry.
"You'll never forgive me, bad woman. Never will be. You're just a wolf in sheep's clothing. You're playing too much of a victim. Finish your drama" said Lara casually.
"You can make me die slowly because of this," said Davina, who was still crying and screaming a little.
"That's what I'm waiting for" said Lara.
"Oh God's. Davina, please come out!!" snapped Phoenix.
"I'm not going out, Phoenix!! She's a very bad woman. He will slowly destroy my life. He has ruined our friendship. Don't you realize you're gonna do that?" snapped Davina.
"Death Davina. It's better for you to kill yourself now than to be tormented later" Lara calmly replied.
Phoenix then pulled Davina's arm and led her out of the room forcefully. Again, Phoenix didn't want any commotion in Lara's office.
Lara looked at him by folding her hands in front of her chest.
"It's not very exciting" muttered Lara. Shortly after, Phoenix returned.
"Let's go home" said Phoenix clasping Lara's hand.
