"Do we need to rest, miss?" Iris asked because they had traveled for about 8 hours.
"No need" said Lara.
"But you're pregnant. Wait, I'll look for a rest area that's comfortable enough for you" Iris said.
"But it's already night, Iris," Lara replied.
"No, you need to stay on break. Gonza and the Phoenix lord will kill me if anything happens to you and your baby" Iris said.
"Only Gonza cares about me, Iris. So you have to be ready to deal with it" replied Lara.
Iris laughed softly while looking for a resting place around that road.
Until finally, Iris saw all the restaurants with a view of a hill that is quite beautiful with light twinkling lights that adorn the fence.
"Let's go down, miss," said Iris.
"Hmm, come on" Lara got down and got in the car and got inside the restaurant. The atmosphere of the night makes the air cooler.
"Iris, please get me my brown jacket in the back seat" said Lara, who was at the door of the restaurant.
"Okay, boss," Iris replied.
Then Iris took the big brown jacket and gave it to Lara. Then Lara put it on and her body felt warm because of the jacket.
Lara and Iris ordered warm food and drinks to warm their bodies.
Their gazes focused on the hilltop and the green grass before their eyes.
There was no conversation between them. The two of them were just enjoying the natural scenery in front of him which made their minds calm.
After 1 hour, they continued their journey. In about 2 hours, they'll be in New Jersey.
Lara seemed to be sound asleep. Iris remained focused on driving without feeling tired. His tiredness just crashed because he would soon meet with Gonza.
And he hopes Gonza doesn't hate him for coming with Lara to town.
2 Hours later, they arrived in New Jersey. As per Lara's message, Iris stopped her car at a five-star hotel close to the company.
Lara opened her eyes slowly and blinked.
"We've arrived?" ask Lara.
"Yes, Miss," replied Iris.
"Hmm, come on" said Lara.
Then they both got out of the car and headed to the hotel lobby door. Lara has booked the hotel via the internet.
After registering the reception desk, Lara and Iris headed towards the elevator to go up to the 10th floor.
Lara's hand crossed in front of her chest. He was still feeling cold as the air grew colder.
When entering the elevator, the shoulder is touched by someone. Lara looked back and saw someone she knew.
"Without?" galy looked stunned to see Lara.
"Aunty?" sahut Lara's.
Galy was still observing Lara, no, Galy was more precisely observing the jacket Lara was wearing.
'This is a Phoenix jacket. I remember it so much because it was my birthday present. So that girl is Lara? Oh my God, the world is so narrow, Galy.
"Aunty ..." call Lara back because Galy is still riveted.
Then Galy regained her senses and immediately hugged Lara.
"Where have you been, honey. You know how confused Phoenix is looking for you?" galy asked as he rubbed Lara's back repeatedly.
"I just want to take a walk" replied Lara.
"Don't ever leave her alone again, Lara. Never," said Galy, still hugging Lara.
Lara is quite surprised by Galy's attitude which she thinks has changed her a little. Maybe because she is now pregnant with her future grandchildren.
