Click Your Heart's
The Part 103

Devon was restless for two hours in the operating room Alma had not yet come out to tell him about his wife.

Devon sat down restlessly. He sat down and stood up. Walking back and forth because of anxiety.

Shortly after, Alma came out of the operating room. Devon immediately approached Alma. "How's my wife doing?"

Alma took off the gloves she was wearing and lowered the mask. "The operation went well" replied Alma.

"Thank you Alma." Devon unconsciously grasped Alma's hand so happy.

Alma is a baper. His heart was racing because the man he liked held his hand.

"Devon, what are you doing to me? I can't forget you anymore, you fool," said Alma in his heart.

A moment later Devon noticed Alma's indecipherable facial expression.

Devon took off his hand.

"Ehem, sorry." Devon tried to neutralize himself.

"Have I been able to see him?" Devon asked impatiently.

Alma. "Later after being transferred to the treatment room. Oh yeah, your wife has she ever had surgery other than a cesarean? I saw a stitch in his stomach but not in the part used for cesarean section." Alma asked curiously.

Devon sighed. "Yes, he used to be stabbed by bad guys." Devon doesn't want to remember his past.

Alma did not expect Cindy ever experienced that terrible thing. "The wound's deep enough if I'd expect." Devon nodded in confirming. Devon looks sad.

"I'll excuse you" said Alma.

Devon nodded. "Thank you." Alma unintentionally looked into Devon's eyes, her heart pounding. A moment later he shifted his eyes.

"Ah looks like I'm going to check the heart," muttered Alma softly as she walked away from Devon.

An hour later Cindy was transferred to a patient care room. Devon follows his wife who is being pushed by a nurse. They're going into the VVIP room.

"I'm staying first sir. If you need help, you can push that button." Point the nurse at a red button attached to the wall. Devon nodded in understanding.

Devon sat next to his wife who was still unconscious. He held Cindy's hand and occasionally kissed her. "Hurry to heal, Cello needs you."

After that Devon sent a message to Bayu that his wife had been operated on. Then he switched to calling his housekeeper to keep Cello as long as he kept Cindy in the hospital.

...***...

Cello came home in a quiet state. Ma'am Nana, her nanny has been told by Mbok Nah that their employer entered the hospital.

"Geez, how cute is Miss Cindy" said the surprised Nana.

"Don't be hard later den Cello sad if you hear it," said Mbok Nah while whispering.

Cello ran around looking for his mother. "Mom, you're not home yet? The cello kangen."

The bond between mother and child is strong. The cello seemed agitated and always asked for his mother. Mbak Nana and Mbok Nah are confused as to what to answer.

"Later home too. How about we play in the room? Cello want to make milk?" Ask Mama Nana.

Cello. "Cello wants to be won by mama" he whined. The cello started crying. The longer the crying gets louder.

Ma'am Nana was overwhelmed by the babysitting of the little boy. Cello cried uncontrollably when they tried to persuade Cello in various ways. Feeling all the ways have been tried, Mbok Nah ventured to call Cello's father.

"What is mbok Well?" Ask Devon.

"Den Cello is fussy sir. He cried from earlier asking to be reunited with Miss Cindy."

"Well, I'll have my sister-in-law there to see Cello."

After saying that. Devon turns to call Celine. "Celine, I can ask you a favor."

"Say!"

"Please accompany Cello, he cries asking for his mother."

"Cindy's in the hospital for appendectomy."

"What's? Alright. I'm going to your house now."

When Celine reached Devon's house, Cello fell asleep but his eyes were still wet from crying. "It's so cute, dear." Celine stroked the cello's hair gently.

Then Celine went to the kitchen to prepare food for her niece.

"Well done," Celine monologues when she's done preparing food for Cello.

Then the sound of Cello's crying came back from his room. Celine took off the apron she used to cook and walked towards the cello room.

"Darling, you're awake?" Celine carried Cello in her arms.

"Mama, mama." Cello yelled at his mother.

"Relax baby, mama's fine. How about we eat first. Aunty's been cooking a lot for Cello." The cello was carried by Celine up to the dining table.

Cello stopped crying when he saw a lot of good food on the table.

...***...

Irma gets word from her husband that Cindy is in the hospital. Irma headed straight to the hospital after closing the shop.

Irma brought a meal for Devon and a basket of fruit for Cindy.

Tok tok tok tok

Devon opened the door. "You're Bayu's wife, right?" Irma simply nodded in response to Devon's question.

"Please come in."

"How is he doing? Oh yes, I brought food for my father. It was my husband who asked me to buy this food" Irma explained, so that Devon did not misunderstand.

"thank you. He just had surgery because he had appendicitis" Devon said.

Devon was soon asked by a nurse to see the doctor who treated Cindy.

"Please take care of him for a moment!" Irma nodded obediently.

Then Devon walked towards Alma's room. Alma who saw Devon's coming invited him to sit down.

"Is there anything serious?" Ask Devon to the point.

"I just wanted to give you a suggestion that your wife should go through the KB program" Alma said.

"Why indeed? We want to have a lot of children" Devon said with jumawa.

"She has had surgery three times on her abdomen, so I recommend delaying pregnancy at least two years from now. I'm just worried that if she's pregnant, she'll risk her life."

Devon digested the woman's doctor's words. "Alright, but after that she can get pregnant right?" ask Devon.

"You'd better consult an obstetrician."

"Are you married?" Devon suddenly asked Alma.

Alma nervously answered. "Do I have to report to you?" Answer Alma with a ketus.

Devon pulled the tip of his lips. "Somehow you can't move on from me, Alma," inner Devon shook his head.

After that Devon came out of the doctor's room. "Thank you for the help" Devon said on the doorstep.

Irma frowned as Devon looked familiar talking to the pretty lady doctor.

"Male base everywhere is the same," grumbled Irma shrieked.

Then he approached Devon. "Sir, I want to say that you're afraid of the night."

"Oh okay. Thank you for looking at my wife." Irma nodded and left.
