Chapter 176

The cello still faces his parents. "Then should Cello just shut up to see a cello friend who's having a hard time?" Ask her parents about cello. He sees Devon and Cindy taking turns.

Cello has a high concern for others so seeing his friend having trouble he can not stay silent.

"Not so dear, we know you are sincerely helping them but there are a handful of people who are deliberately taking advantage of our kindness." Cindy gives Cello an understanding.

"But Anwar and his mother were not Ma's like that," Cello argued for not accepting his friend being accused of exploiting his kindness.

Devon stood up and patted his son on the shoulder. "Papa wants Cello to be a child who likes to help others but it would be nice if we do not interfere in the affairs of others. Just get here you help the Anwar family. Papa's sure they won't be endless asking for money from you."

The cello nodded and returned to his room. He was offended when his parents doubted his kindness to Anwar's family.

Devon shook his head. "I'm going to ask the bank to temporarily block the ATM Cello, Ma. Tomorrow just give him the cash he needs." Cindy nodded in agreement with her husband's decision. Cindy is also worried that Cello will be blackmailed by someone else.

Meanwhile, Anwar returned to his home. "Anwar" called the mother. He shed tears watching his son return safely.

"Are you okay, son?" Ask Pure to her son. Anwar nodded.

"Let's eat, you haven't eaten yet." Purely invites her son inside.

After eating Pure invited Anwar to speak. "Are you being treated well by your father? Did he torture you?" Pure Scabby with teary eyes could not bear to see his thin-looking child.

Anwar cried when he was at his father's house. "He didn't torture me but he didn't feed me."

"Excession! Though I gave you money," Murni growled.

"Where did you get that kind of money? Do you owe me a bank?" Ask Anwar. At first the salary earned from washing clothes is not how much, how can you get money in a day, thought Anwar.

"No, your friend who came here gave the money to me so you could be released by your father." Purely said honestly.

Anwar rounded his eyes. "What?" Anwar was shocked to hear his mother's confession. "Why did you take the money? How do we pay the cello a debt." Anwar feels bad for troubling Cello when he sincerely befriends the boy.

"Then what should you do? I only think about your safety. Besides we can pay for it in installments."

"What is the salary of the mother as a washing worker is enough to pay the debt to the cello while to buy our daily needs we still lack."

Pure hugged her son. "Help the prayer so that you can return the money that your friend lent you." Anwar closed his eyes.

"I can't stay still, from tomorrow I have to work so that mom can pay off her debt to Cello" Anwar said in his heart.

The next day Anwar returned to school. "Anwar" cried Cello calling his friend.

Anwar feels bad. But dodging would also make Cello misunderstand him. "Are you okay? I'm worried about you."

"Yes, fine. Thank you," he said, looking down.

Cello reviewed the smile he knew Anwar meant. "Well, shouldn't friends help each other?"

Cello grabbed Anwar by the shoulder and took him to class. But soon a student calls Anwar to meet his homeroom teacher.

"You just meet the teacher, explain to them honestly so they can understand so you don't get sanctioned." Anwar nodded at Cello's advice.

While Anwar meets his homeroom teacher in the classroom, Cello steps in and sits on his stool. Suddenly Mita gives a cake to Cello.

"I bought an excess cake, this is for you, just" he said in a flat tone.

Cello is confused by Mita's attitude but she still accepts Mita's gift so that Mita is not offended. "Thank you."

Meanwhile in the teacher's room.

"Anwar why don't you go in for two days but don't you let me?" Ask the class guardian.

"I'm waiting for my sick mother sir" Anwar replied lying.

"You didn't lie, did you?" Ask the homeroom class to make sure. Anwar shook his head.

"How is he now?"

"It's better," he replied, lying.

"Okay, you understand but you still give sanctions because you missed two days. You're suspended for two days. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow you learn by yourself at home."

"Thank you, sir."

The guardian of Anwar's class was confused as to why he was even grateful when given the punishment. "It's back to class."

"I will use two days tomorrow to work," Anwar muttered softly after coming out of the teacher's room.

Anwar returned to his seat beside Cello. "Where?" Cello asked Anwar while whispering as they were being taught by the subject teacher.

"I'm suspended for two days."

"You're patient, yes" Cello intended to comfort his friend.

After school, Cello takes Anwar home with him, but he doesn't want to. "Sorry this afternoon I want to take my bike with my chain in trouble." Anwar reasoned that Cello would not follow him.

"Alright, you be careful yes I go home first" said Cello as he waved Anwar's reply.

After that Anwar went around maybe someone opened a job vacancy for him. There is a banner that contains information on job vacancies in the motorcycle wash. Anwar also tried to apply for a job there. Although not old enough, he hopes the owner of the motorcycle laundry will accept it.

"Excuse me, Mas. Is there really a job opening?" Anwar asked one of the officers who was washing the bike.

"So just go in and ask the owner directly."

Anwar also ventured to meet the owner. "Who are you?" Ask a tall man.

"I'm Anwar I want to apply for a job here."

The man, who is thought to be the owner of the motorcycle and car wash, scanned Anwar's body from foot to head.

"You're still Junior High where you might work here."

"I beg you sir I need this job. I promise I'll work hard."

"You can work here after school."

"Thank you very much sir. I can start work today too sir."

"Not work from tomorrow."

"Good sir I promise I'll be diligent starting tomorrow."

After that Anwar went home. "Anwar where have you been?" Ask mother.

"There's an extracurricular ma'am,"

"O Allah, I lie today, may you forgive me all my sins" said Anwar.
