Chapter 195

Alan's mother is shocked when she listens to her neighbor Alan's story that Tania is a widow. His mind has wandered everywhere.

Then after Alan arrived home, his mother asked the truth about Tania's status to her son.

"Alan, why didn't you tell me Tania was a widow?"

"Is that important, Mom? It's not like my own mother told me that as long as I'm happy you're going to bless our relationship."

"But she's a widow."

"What's the problem, ma'am?"

"She's divorced or her husband's dead?" ask the mother.

"He was divorced for not getting pregnant but it wasn't Mom's fault. Tania's been checking her contents and her fertile contents are likely her barren husband."

"How could you be so prejudiced toward others?"

"Wouldn't my own mother have been prejudiced against Tania. She's a good woman, ma'am. Only he can make me move on from Irene." Alan doesn't want to lose to his mother.

"Mother so doubt, will you be happy if you are married to him? Moreover, she had already failed in the household."

"Don't like to judge others. We don't know our future. All who know is God Almighty. I just pray that me and Tania can live happily."

There was a sense of unwillingness when his mother nodded her head. As a mother of course she wants the best for her child, let alone Alan the only boy in their family.

"Don't because of his widow's status get in the way of Alan's marriage" the husband said.

"Mother will be ashamed of our neighbor sir. Alan was married at a passing age and could even be widowed."

"Already Ma. It seems Tania is a special widow. Look at him yesterday, he brought a car. Isn't he a rich man?"

"Why did you even think of treasure?" Wife's protest.

"If others underestimate her because of her widowed status, mother can flaunt Tania's wealth."

"Don't drive Mom, sir. Mom doesn't like it. Right now I don't feel sure about blessing Alan and Tania's relationship."

"Don't be like that ma'am, you're going to torture your son. How old does he want to be?"

His mother breathed heavily. Come to think of it if you become a voter, Alan will not get married at any time.

...There is nothing perfect in this world, but perfection belongs to God. Humans have many shortcomings, as long as we can accept the lack of a partner then it is not a problem for us in the future....

...The shortcomings of the couple should not be regretted but as a good couple we should cover those shortcomings with the advantages we complement each other better than dropping each other....

Tania told her mother that Alan's parents had received her well.

"Thank God I don't think they will accept you because of your widowed status."

"I thought so at first, Mom. But yesterday I did not offend my status at all. They didn't ask me either so I thought there was no need to tell me my status."

"What if they know from others whether they can still accept you well?" Ask the mother.

"Mom also wishes you the best. If they don't like you, you better back off."

"Why is that? Why not fight for our partner?"

"What we want is not as expected" her mother Tania replied as she passed.

"All right, I'll follow my mother's advice."

The next day Tania visits Alan's house because she knows Alan's parents are still staying there. After work he brought a large basket of fruit to Alan's parents.

When Alan's mother passed Tania his face looked pouted. Tania felt strange because the last time they met Alan's parents still welcomed her well.

"What's wrong, ma'am? Did I have a mistake with my mother?" Ask Tania carefully. He didn't want to offend Alan's parents.

"Why didn't you tell me you were a widow?" Ask Alan's mother.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to hide my status, but yesterday we didn't mention it." Tania tried to defend herself.

"Actually I'm a little worried because you've failed in marriage."

"I got divorced because my husband was disappointed after 5 years of marriage not having children. But I checked my doctor and it didn't matter. I suspected my ex-husband because at his second marriage he also did not have children. And his wife who now also says that he's not barren."

"I'm not interested in your story" replied Alan's mother.

A short but painful sentence for Tania. Though Tania tried to explain to Alan's parents so that he did not misunderstand why he could get divorced.

"Are you afraid that my marriage to Mas Alan did not produce offspring?"

"Of course everyone fears it."

"May I tell you a little about the life story of my superior wife who could not have children because her uterus was removed due to cancer?"

"Why are you telling other people's stories? You want a story?" nagging Alan's mother.

"I just want you to know that anything can happen. My boss' wife can't give birth but God is so good, she found a baby that can be adopted and cared for to great."

"Then do you intend to adopt a child if later you can't have children with Alan?"

"Why not, there are many ways to have children. Although not born from my womb but I think nurturing a child who does not have parents will be more noble because it is the same as we lift his degree."

Alan's mother didn't think Tania thought that wise. The middle-aged woman felt small because she had thought petty.

"I'm sorry for the mother who prejudiced you."

Tania hugged her future in-laws. "It's okay Mom, I'm also a woman. I understand the feeling of a mother wanting the best for her child."

"What you said is true. I'm too worried about Alan's soul mate, but you're a very nice woman."

Tania unraveled her embrace. "Thank you Mom for giving me the opportunity to marry Mas Alan. I'm so lucky to have a future in-law like you" Tania said. Alan's mother was flattered

Alan and his father who eavesdropped from the side room felt calm and relieved as they finally reconciled.

"I'm married to you." So happy was Alan when he exclaimed in front of his father

"Basic child's bloated."
