"You're not Tom," Cindy said in disbelief that Tommy proposed to her as she grieved.

"I'm serious Cin, I've loved you for a long time but all this time I just harbored my feelings for you because you were in a relationship with Devon" Tommy expressed his feelings directly.

"But you see the situation, I'm grieving Tom, I just lost my grandmother, the one who took care of me as a child" Cindy said, shedding tears.

He lost his only family. There was nothing else he missed. Cindy never received parental affection since Cindy's parents died when she was a child.

Then a mother who was none other than Irene's mother approached Cindy. "Son, you'd better come to town, you'll be ostracized here because of you..." The mother did not continue her words. He was afraid to touch Cindy's feelings.

Cindy felt that the mother's words were true. Here Cindy has no family what difference it makes if she lives in her own city. In fact he better stay there because there is Irene and Alan who will take care of him.

Cindy had no choice but to accept Tommy's offer. Cindy agreed.

"But I have no place to live in the city" Cindy said. Because he's out of the apartment Devon bought.

"Don't worry about it, the important thing is that we get out of this village first" Tommy asked.

Cindy packed her things and followed Tommy into the car. A five-hour drive is not a short time to drive on the highway.

The night was late and almost morning. Tommy is tired, he stops his car at the refueling station to rest for a while. Cindy has been sleeping since.

Tommy closed his eyes until the sun shone in his eyes. He works the eyes. Cindy is not. "Where is he?" Tommy scanned around the SPBU. He felt relieved when he saw Cindy walking from the other direction.

"Where have you been?" Ask Tommy.

"I'm sorry I'm looking for a toilet" Cindy replied.

"Alright, it's six o'clock we should go home first to my apartment later in the afternoon I'll find a place to stay for you" said Tommy. Cindy just agreed. Right now he had to believe in Tommy because there was no longer someone he could rely on in this world.

The two of them had arrived at the oarkir in the apartment building. "Let's go down, let me take your stuff upstairs."

"Thank you" Cindy said. This morning his body felt weak. Maybe because he felt nauseous but he could stand it. He doesn't want to trouble Tommy.

"Sorry my house is a mess" said Tommy who felt bad because he was not a person who diligently takes care of things about cleanliness. It tends to be funny.

"Cind, you can use that room, here are two rooms, my room is over there" pointed Tommy.

"No, go, lock your closet if you're afraid I'll take your stuff out" Cindy said before Tommy left.

"I know you're not a thief, except my heart," Tommy said, chuckling.

"Sorry," Cindy lowered her head.

"For what?" Tommy's laughter receded as Cindy apologized.

"I can't answer your proposal yesterday."

"Not to think about it, I should apologize, propose to you at the wrong time. Ah rest I know you must be tired." Tommy's a little awkward.

Tommy did not want to mention Cindy's pregnancy even though he had heard his neighbors mention that Cindy's grandmother died because her grandson's parents were pregnant in the marriage quarter. He still wants to keep the feelings of the girl he loves. Let it be for a while like this as long as Cindy is with him, Tommy thought.

Cindy entered the room. He looked around the room. It looks like that mess was his first impression. But he doesn't matter because Cindy realizes that he's only hitchhiking for a while.

Tommy knocked on Cindy's room. Cindy opened it. "I'm going to the office if I need a phone!" Tommy orders it to the woman he loves.

"Be careful." Cindy told Tommy. Tommy was very disoriented because only this time he felt noticed by a woman. He smiled broadly as he recalled Cindy's cheerful smile from before.

As Tommy promised he sent fast food to Cindy. He did not want the woman to go hungry. "That's a lot of food," Cindy told the driver of the online motorcycle taxi that brought the order from Tommy.

"Yes, mom. All have been paid in the name of Mr. Tommy" said the driver.

Cindy is really hungry. He doesn't want to waste a chance. He ate the food, but he was not greedy. Cindy left a little for Tommy.

After finishing eating, Cindy saw Tomny's apartment was very messy away from the word Rapi. The woman took the initiative to clean up Tommy's apartment. However, he had to repay the kindness of the man even if only by cleaning his apartment.

"Geez, how many years have you not washed." Cindy complains while taking a musty smelling bed sheet in the room she occupies. He put the dirty linen in the washing machine.

Cindy begins to burn out after cleaning Tommy's apartment. He rubbed his sweat and then slept from exhaustion.

That afternoon Tommy came home early because he promised Cindy to find a place to stay. "Cindy," call Tommy.
