Darren did not expect his sister would go bankrupt due to her own assistant. "It's rude, he dares to stab Devon in the back" Darren said. His breath goes up and down because of emotion. He did not accept that his sister was hurt.

Then Darren calls Bagas who is Bayu's older brother and Darren's assistant to face.

"What does this mean?" asked Darren while throwing a newspaper at Bagas.

"Sir I did not know that Bayu secretly betrayed Mr. Devon," Bagas defended himself. He was telling the truth.

Devon and Bayu did not involve anyone including their brothers. It is only natural that Darren and Bagas are made to misunderstand the news.

"Hmf are you going to betray me like what Bayu did to Devon now huh?" sulcan Darren.

"No sir, I can't do that at all" Bagas said.

"Find out what's really going on" Darren orders his assistant. Bagas nodded obediently and left Darren's room.

Celine was no less surprised than Darren. She called her husband to confirm the truth of the news about the bankruptcy of her sister-in-law's company.

On the other hand Devon has managed to convince the public that he is now just an ordinary man.

"Well Cindy we start the game" Devon murmured.

Meanwhile Cindy who initially intended to contact Devon finally he undo. "Ah maybe now he needs to win himself, I better not bother him first" muttered Cindy.

The next day Cindy was no longer sick. He can sleep well after taking the medicine. Then Cindy came to the office early in the morning.

"Wah mami seems to be fresh," said Alan who came earlier than him.

"Yes, thank God I'm better, oh, where is Irene?" ask Cindy who didn't see any of her assistants.

"What's wrong mam?" sahut Irene's.

"You've already spread a brochure, right to open a job?" Cindy reminded.

"Already mam, I've been through medsos because the range is wider," replied Irene.

"Good job" praised Cindy as she lifted her thumb.

"Are you ready to pretend you're poor, sir?" tanya Bayu made sure.

"Of course, I've started where maybe I ended it before I struggled" Devon said.

"Well for a while you'll be living in the house I've rented. It is still close to where Miss Cindy lives," said Bagus.

"Remember sir hold on as long as possible, this is all for the sake of finding your soul mate," said Bagus warned his superior.

"Who is the boss here? Why do you rule more than I do?" devon protests that did not accept.

"Now you are not the boss anymore, sir, as long as I pretend later to be the boss," ledek Bayu accompanied by mocking laughter.

"Fucking assistant, don't you really stab me in the back?" accuse Devon but it's just a joke. He was sure Bayu would not betray him.

"I hope you can count on yourself" Bayu said one last time before taking Devon down at his rented house.

"Yes," said Devon.

"Thank you for driving me" said Devon. Bayu nodded then left Devon.

Devon moved his foot to the house. "Although small but not bad," Devon seemed to comment on his new decapitation.

In the afternoon Cindy came home at about five in the afternoon. Devon, waiting for Cindy's return to her boarding house, finally sees the girl.

"Miss Cindy," call Devon.

"Eh mas Devon, what are you doing here?" ask Cindy.

"You must have heard the news about me?" Cindy just nodded answering a question from her close friend.

"Now I live there" Devon points to a green house.

"Do you want to stop by?" said Devon with a smile. Cindy smiled back. "How about next time I have to finish my college assignment" said Cindy who refused subtly.

"All right," said Devon, who was disappointed.

"Is it because I'm poor, until he rejects my invitation?" cibir Devon concludes Cindy's rejection.
