The Part 142

"Until when do you hide the fact that I can't give you a child, Mas?" Irene asked with a trembling tone.

"Come on," replied Tommy. The man was about to step into the bathroom but his hand was blocked by Irene. "Don't hang me, give me certainty!" Steadfast as he looked at Tommy with red eyes.

"Do you know what will happen to you after I divorce you?" Tommy asks Irene to guess.

"Yes, although no one will marry me later no problem, I'm not worried about him. I'm just worried about you, Mom. What would you be if your extended family knew you couldn't have children?" Irene turned around to ask a question that cornered Tommy.

"Why do you insist on divorce?"

"I know you don't want me anymore so why do you keep me?" Irene asked with a trembling tone.

"Stop your bullshit! Don't like to make your own conclusions!" Tommy warned his wife. Then he left Irene in the bathroom.

Tommy immediately turned on the shower and then flushed his body which was still wrapped in full clothes on his body. He was crying under the water. Tommy is in a dilemma. On the one hand, he did not want to part with Irene, but on the other hand, he did not know how his family would react if he knew Irene could not have children.

Irene ventured to meet her mother-in-law. "Ma, can we talk to you for a second?" Irene asked for time.

"Come and talk while sitting down!" Maya pats the empty sofa. Irene sat down slowly beside her mother-in-law.

"What do you want to talk about? Shouldn't it be tomorrow?"

"I'm sorry because what I'm talking about is gonna hurt you a little bit." Irene continued to reemaas her cold hands. Actually he was very nervous in front of Maya but reality can not always be covered. Irene chose to reveal reality first rather than her mother-in-law knowing from others.

"Let's just say it don't hesitate!" Urge Maya while holding Irene's cold hand.

"Ma, actually we didn't go to my hometown to see my sick parents but I was the one who was sick."

"What pain do you have, son?" Maya looks worried about Irene.

Not until she spoke Irene cried first. Somehow his tongue was muddled as he wanted to reveal what he was going through to his mother-in-law.

An hour Tommy spent in his bath ritual. But when he came out he did not see his wife. Tommy panicked and immediately came out of the room, lucky he had been wearing clothes after bathing. Tommy went down the stairs half-run.

"Irene," called Tommy when Irene was seen opening her mouth.

Irene and Maya turn to Tommy. Tommy shakes his head to prevent Irene from opening her mouth. "I can't have children, Ma." Irene's words surprised Maya.

"What are you saying, son. What exactly is going on?"

"Enough, Ren. Ma don't listen to what Irene says." Tommy doesn't want anything bad to happen to Irene. He was afraid that Maya would tell him to divorce his wife.

"Mas, we can't hide this secret continuously." Irene turned to look at the Eyes. "I'm sorry Ma actually I had uterine cancer so the doctor removed my uterus to save my life." Irene's words startled Maya but the unexpected happened.

"Is that the problem?" Ask Maya. Irene and Tommy exchanged glances.

Maya approaches Irene and rubs her face. "I know it must be hard for you not to have children, but you can adopt children, right?"

"Ma, is mom not mad at me?" Irene asked with mixed feelings.

"Mama's angry, mama's angry because you didn't tell her you were sick. You remember when my mom was having a stroke who was taking care of my mom, didn't you get to work to take care of me. Why is it that when you are sick, you don't say the same to Mom? Mama can take care of you."

Irene felt moved and cried when she heard her mother-in-law's words. Maya hugs Irene to calm her down. Tommy who was initially worried finally felt relieved. He did not want to part with Irene even though they would not have children.

What Maya said was true. They could have adopted a child. Because a lot of kids out there need parental attention and unfortunately the fate of those less fortunate.

"Sstt don't say those words. There will be no farewell between us. We are a family so we must support and strengthen each other. What you experience is also experienced by many others out there. The most important thing is to ignore the words that can make your ears hurt. Don't mind anyone else." Irene nodded at the advice of her mother-in-law.

Cindy asked Tommy about Irene. Then Tommy told me everything. Cindy is relieved when Maya accepts Irene's shortcomings.

"You're lucky Ren has a mother-in-law as good as Aunt Maya," Cindy muttered after a long chat on the phone with Tommy.

"What's the matter, baby?" Ask Devon.

"Irene mas she's out of uterus removal surgery because she had uterine cancer at that time."

"What's? So she can't have children?" Cindy nodded.

"Then how did Tommy's family respond?"

"The good news is, Aunt Maya doesn't get angry at him she's sorry for the fate of her daughter-in-law."

"In other words he accepted Irene's flaws?" Cindy just nodded.

"Lucky yes she has a mother-in-law as good as Aunt Maya. Actually I'm jealous because I never felt the affection of my mother, neither my real mother nor my mother-in-law." Cindy's face turned sad.

"Darling, I never felt my mother's affection either, because she died when I was a toddler in an accident."

"But do you know where your mother's grave is?" Ask Cindy. Devon shakes. "Let's know, I asked my dad once when I was growing up. She said my mother died in a plane crash so her body wasn't found until now. I don't know how he looks."

"If brother? Did he ever see your mother's face?"

"Somebody knows what he remembers, because our age wasn't far away so I guess he didn't remember that."

"Ah, why be sad like this. Let's take the kids to breakfast. Isn't it time for them to go to school." Cindy walked first while holding her baby.

Cello and Ruby had breakfast in the dining room. "We're done," Ruby said.

"Alright, have the driver drive you!" Devon's orders. Ruby took Cello's hand and they came out together.

Thirty minutes later, "Sir, there will be no need to pick me up later, because I have additional activities at school" Ruby said before she got off.

"Da big brother," Cello waved at his brother. The driver took the boy to school.

While at school, Ruby suddenly gets an unfriendly welcome from her friends.

Byeur

A friend of hers flushed Ruby's clothes with a bucket of water.

What is the motive of his friends? Are they gonna bully Ruby?

You can come over a lot of it
