The Part 121

"Mama" whined Cello who ran to his mother's room.

"What's the matter, baby?" Ask Cindy.

"Where is my tie Ma?"

"If it asks Mbok Well dear."

"I don't want to be the same mom. Carp!" The cello starts acting up. Both of his hands were raised asking his mother for a sling.

"Here let papa be the fat one," Devon interceded.

"No way, same mom," whined Cello as he pulled Cindy's hand.

Cindy tried to calm her son down. "Cello, don't be fussy, kid, cello is a big mama is not strong fat."

Cello began to cry after receiving rejection from his mother. Devon instantly raised the tiny body. "Let's find your tie together" Devon said.

"Sir, will you go with my sister?" Ruby Fresh.

"You want to" Cello jumped out of his father's arms. Cindy is thrilled to see the proximity of Cello and Ruby. She was grateful that Ruby was a submissive child.

After breakfast, Ruby holds Cello's hand and they enter the car together.

"Darling, I also went to work first. Remember the message I don't go anywhere, you just at home the store business leave it to Bayu's wife and his wife Tommy."

"But Irene is on leave, Mas. I feel sorry for Irma" Cindy said.

"Yes if no one is watching while closing the shop first" Devon said firmly.

"Yes, yes" Cindy replied unwillingly.

...***...

This morning Irene had breakfast with the Tommy family for the first time. He was a little awkward with his family especially with his mother.

"After marriage, what is the plan?" Maya asks her daughter-in-law.

"I still want to work, Auntie."

"Kok Aunty, baby, call mama dong!" Tommy Protest.

"Yes, Mama," Irene said, correcting her call.

"You're at home with mom. Let me work."

"No. I still want to work with Cindy."

"Cindy? Ah yes yesterday I did not have time to chat with him" said Maya. For some reason every time she talks about Cindy, Maya is always enthusiastic. Irene who realized that was immediately disappointed but as much as possible she hid her disappointment.

"It turns out I haven't been accepted into this family," Irene's inner self held back the pain.

"Darling, I'll go to work first."

"Mas, I'm coming. The store doesn't have anyone to look after me if I don't leave. Since Cindy's been busy taking care of Cello, she's never been to the store." Irene tried to convince her husband.

"Yes, you better help Cindy. After all, it would be very boring if there were no activities at home," Maya added.

Inevitably Tommy allows Irene to work. Do not forget both say goodbye to both parents Tommy.

Ever since the mask got into the car, Irene had no voice at all. Tommy glanced at his wife. "What's wrong?" Tommy asked suspiciously.

"Ah, there's nothing Mas," Irene lied.

"Lho is riding an ojek. Just take a taxi, I'll give you money for the taxi fare later."

Arriving in front of the store Irene said goodbye to her husband. "Wait, this is for you." Tommy hands over an ATM to his wife.

"Ah, no need to. Just give me the sheet money," he refused.

"Take it! Tommy wiggles his hand so that Irene immediately picks up the ATM he thrust. Irene had to take it.

"Use it well. I'll go to work first." Irene waved her hand as she looked at her husband's car that was getting further away.

Irene entered the store with a shunt step. Irma. "Lho the newlyweds go straight to work? Not on a honeymoon?" Ask.

"My husband can't be on leave because there are projects to take care of," Irene replied uninspiredly.

"You can stay at home with your in-laws" Irma suggested. Irene looked at him sharply.

"He prefers that I work."

"Does your mother-in-law still not like you?" Irene interfered with answering Irma's question.

"I suggest you get closer to him don't even stay away from him. Try to make him a food he likes or if you can't cook, you can buy him outside who knows your in-laws will like you more."

Irene seemed to think. "All right, I'll try your advice."

Arriving at home, Irene brought a cake that was sold at the store where she worked. "Assalamualaikum Ma's. I brought a cake for my mom" Irene said, resuscitating a box of cookies.

Maya receives the box and opens it. "This is the cake Cindy made for you. Thank you, I really want to eat this cake. Tommy used to buy this cake, but he never said it was Cindy's cake."

For some reason every time Maya mentions the name Cindy Irene's heart feels disappointed. Because he's comparing himself to Cindy.

"If so mom just keep eating it, I go up first Ma." Maya mangosteen while enjoying bite after bite of the delicious-tasting cake. Even he didn't seem to listen to Irene. Irene climbed to the top with a shunt step.

Then he dropped his body on the bed. "Did this hardship conquer my mother-in-law's heart? I can't give up, at first it's like this I'm sure most of the daughters-in-law out there are also experiencing it. I need to be able to get through the phase of not being liked by the in-laws" Irene muttered alone.

After cleaning up Irene walked into the kitchen. "What do you want?" The sound made him shocked. Irene was like a thief caught off guard. He was planning to cook for dinner.

"I intend to cook for dinner tonight Ma" replied Irene.

"No, let aunt do the work. He knows our taste better."

Deg

"Patience, patience," Irene inwardly. Although her in-laws' speech was a little spicy but Irene tried not to respond.

"Yes it's Ma. Is there anything I can do, Ma?" Asked Irene who was still trying to take her in-laws heart.

"Oh, I happen to be cooking again. You please flush the flowers in front ya!" Pinta Maya's. Irene also said.

She took a water hose and watered flowers in her parents' yard.

"Lho you know sukulen I was also watered how the hell you are," Maya's nagging found the mini-sized cactus exposed to water.

"Sorry, Ma. Can't be watered, right?" Irene asked who didn't know.

"This watering three days once it was not up to this much just need to be sprayed with a little water. It's a succulent purchase in Japan where it's expensive again." Maya doesn't stop nagging.

"Wrong again, when exactly?" Irene growled in annoyance.

"Sana just come in. Your work doesn't really hurt your mom." Irene's ears were really hot hearing the Mayan ravings. But he was wrong. Irene just according to his words without refuting a single bit.

"What's this?" The baritone's voice made Maya and Irene turn their heads.
