Devon kicked the door. He saw Cindy in Dio's arms. "Take him off!" snapped Devon.

Dio pushed Cindy. Cindy rolled to the ground. As Devon was about to help the girl, Dio kicked Devon. The man fell down.

Cindy screamed to see the two fighting. Devon got up and returned Dio's kick. Dio still held the dagger in his hand, he pointed the dagger at Devon. Fortunately the man managed to get away. Devon catches Dio's hand and breaks it.

Dio groaned in pain. Not stopping there, Devon twisted and nudged Dio's chest. Dio fell.

Now Devon approached the frightened Cindy while holding both knees. He squatted down to equalize his height with Cindy. "Don't worry you're safe" Devon said. Cindy suddenly hugged Devon. Devon returns Cindy's embrace.

Dio is back. Cindy who saw Dio pointing her dagger towards Devon instantly pushed the male body away. Dio who initially wanted to stab Devon from behind even hit Cindy's stomach. Cindy drowned while clutching her wounded stomach.

Devon is shocked to not believe that Cindy is willing to sacrifice for him. Then he got up. Devon clenched his hands and clutched Dio's collar. "Ba*jing*an," said Devon who was furious with his actions.

Dio laughed. "He's going to die" said Dio. Devon punches Dio in the face. Soon after, Bayu came with the police.

"Sir you okay?" ask Bayu.

"Way where's your car key? Cindy was hurt," he asked, raising his hand. Bayu immediately gave me the car keys.

"Let me drive sir," Bayu said offering help.

Devon did not heed Bayu's talk. He lifts Cindy's unconscious body. "Please hold on" said Devon on his way to his car.

Devon placed the girl's body in the back seat of the car carefully. Then get behind the control seat.

Devon started his car engine and then drove the car at high speed. In the middle of the journey he was followed by the traffic police because the car that Devon was driving had already exceeded the speed limit.

The policeman continued to honk to stop Devon's car but he increased the speed of his car. Finally there was a chase between Devon's car and the police motorcycle.

Devon's car reached the hospital yard. He then shouted for the nurse to help Cindy. The policeman who saw Devon take down the severely injured Cindy finally understood.

After Cindy handled Devon approached the police who were still waiting for her. "Sorry sir, I didn't mean to break the traffic rules but I delivered my future wife who was injured," Devon lied calling Cindy his future wife.

"Yes sir, you should have asked for an escort from me" the police said.

"If you can figure out why it hurt so badly?" ask the police.

Now Devon is waiting in the front seat of the ER room. "You're a patient's family?" ask the nurse to Devon.

"Yes, the patient has a severe enough injury he must be operated on immediately, please take care of his administration so that the doctor can take action immediately."

"Give me the best care I will bear whatever the costs are."

"So how's Miss Cindy doing?" ask Bayu who just arrived.

"He had to have surgery" Devon said. He rubbed his face in frustration.

"So I don't think there's a woman as great as Miss Cindy for now." Bayu began to advise.

"What do you mean Yu?"

"Obviously sir, Miss Cindy is the right woman for you. Devon was still digesting the words of his assistant.

"Did I still have a show after this?" Devon asks Bayu's opinion.

"It's up to you sir" said Bayu.

Cindy's been operated on. The girl was transferred to the patient room. The girl was still unconscious. Devon has contacted Irene and Alan.

"Oh my goodness, my mother Cindy" said Alan with his own face.

"Hopefully he'll come to his senses soon" Irene hoped.

"Ren have you contacted his family?" devon asked Irene. Now Devon no longer pretends to be poor. He was wearing a suit as usual.

Irene and Alan still don't understand Devon's changes. But they did not dare to ask the man.

"No sir, Cindy only had a grandmother who took care of her since childhood we did not want to make her grandmother worry because she has a history of heart disease" said Irene.

"Well, please take care of him for me. I'll go back to the office to take care of the work, let's know that Cindy's conscious" Devin orders Irene and Alan. They nodded in understanding.
