Chapter 175

"Pure, Pure," cried a man night-night.

Pure who was none other than her mother Anwar came out from inside her room. Likewise, Anwar who was playing the game went up from the bed when he heard the screams of men he recognized.

"What are you shouting at night like this? Shame on the neighbors," said Murni full of emphasis.

"For money." The random-looking man raised his hand.

"What money? You ask for money to keep on with me. Don't you realize who's supposed to make a living?" Pure Refutation.

"Nrr." The man's hand swung down Pure's cheek. Pure fall down.

"Don't hit my mom!" Shouted Anwar while helping his mother wake up.

"Little kids don't have to interfere" he said. The man was half drunk. You can see the way he stood up a little staggering.

"Get out of my house!" Purely pushing the body of her ex-husband. But his hand was gripped.

"Give me some money!" His impact to make Pure surprised.

"The shameless man, who do you think you are?" Challenge Pure.

"I'm still your husband?" he answered while shouting.

"What kind of husband has abandoned his son and wife. Besides, I've been taking care of the divorce papers." Purely won't lose.

The man cupped Pure chin. "Don't talk much and argue. Give me five million in two days or I'll hurt your son" he said, pulling Anwar's hand and taking him away.

"Anwar, Anwar." Pure Shouted but her ex-husband took her son further and further away.

Pure also can only resign and pray that her ex-husband does not hurt Anwar.

The next day Cello didn't see Anwar in the classroom. "You know why Anwar didn't come in today?" Ask a classmate. They threw one another and then shook their shoulders.

Cello's worried because Anwar didn't let the teacher in today. "Not usually he's ditching."

Then Cello decided to stop by Anwar's house after school. He put his bike in Anwar's yard.

"Assalamualaikum," there was no answer and Cello raised his voice. "Assalamualaikum," he shouted while knocking on the door.

"You? what's coming here?" Ask Purely.

"I'm looking for Anwar. Today he didn't go to school Ma'am without permission so I'm worried. Is he sick?" Ask Cello.

Pure suddenly cried so much that it made Cello confused. "Why Ma'am? Did something happen to Anwar?" Ask Cello.

"She was taken away by her father" replied the woman who was now sitting on the porch.

"Where's Ma? Do you know the address? Let me find."

"Don't kid, dangerous. I don't know where she took him. He threatened not to take Anwar if in two days mom didn't give him money."

"How much money do you need?" The woman looked into the cello's eyes.

"Mother will seek a loan from the mother's distant brother."

"I want to help Mom. Tell me how much Ma needs for Anwar to release his father?" Urge Cello.

"Five million," he replied hesitantly.

"Okay, I'm waiting here." Cello left the woman and rode his bike. He was looking for ATM machines around the area. When he found her, Cello turned. Then he took his ATM card in the bag.

He pulled five million dollars at a time from an ATM machine. Then he put the money in his bag. Luckily no one was waiting in line so he was safe from theft.

Cello paddles his bike to Anwar's house. Then he knocked back on the door of his friend's house when he got in front of his house.

Pure opened the door. "What else is it?" Ask Purely.

"Can I come in?" Cello asked permission.

Purely welcome in. Then Cello took five million out of his bag. The money was in the form of sheets that were not tied up because it was taken directly from the ATM machine.

"It's five million to redeem Anwar. Please use it well."

"But how do I return it? My income as a washing laborer is nothing."

"No need to return ma'am. What matters is that Anwar can go back to school."

Purely moved by the kindness of the Cello. After that, Cello returned home.

The next day, Pure's ex-husband came back to her house. "Where's the money I asked for?" He raised his hand.

Purely took the money that Cello gave her yesterday. She was half-unwilling to give her ex-husband that much money just to spend and support herself because her ex-husband is not working. Everyday his life was always at the gambling table and ended in drunkenness.

Her ex-husband counted the money given by Pure. His face looks bright when getting the desired money.

"Where did you get this much money?" Ask Pure ex-husband.

"You think I haven't worked this long?" Answer Purely with a ketus.

"I have saved a lot of money."

"Don't say much. Now hand over Anwar. Where is he? Why don't I see it?" Pure asked with reddened eyes.

"He's in my house, I'll tell him to come home. But remember you have to give me money every time I want it. Otherwise, you'll see your son suffer" he threatened.

The other day, Devon found out that his son had withdrawn five million dollars a few days ago. He read the details of the ATM card dispensing held by Cello.

"Why did he use this kind of money without asking permission first?"

Devon wants to interrogate his son when he gets home. "Ma, you can get Cello" Devon told his wife.

"What's pa?" Cindy asked suspiciously.

"Please call me first. Papa wants to talk to him."

Cindy obeyed her husband's orders. "Cello called papa."

The cello moved out of his chair. He followed his mother out of the room.

"What's pa?" Ask Cello

"Is it true that you're withdrawing five million?" Devon asked his son.

Cello. "Cello did you hear papa's question?" Now it was Cindy's turn to ask her son.

"Yes" he answered briefly.

"What's that money for? What's to pay for your tuition?" Ask Devon.

"Not." Cello was too afraid to be honest with his parents.

"It's okay? You won't scold you as long as you give us a reasonable explanation."

"I gave the money to my friend's parents" he admitted.

"Give for free?" Ask an obscure Cindy with a cello talk.

Cello. Devon breathed heavily. "For what?"

"To redeem my friend Pa. He was taken by force. His mother was threatened if she didn't give him money then she wouldn't let go of my friend."

"Are you sure about that? You're sure they didn't use you, right?" Ask Cindy to make sure.

Cello could not answer but his little heart could not let his friend in distress.
