The Part 166

Irene begins to enjoy her days with Kevin, the baby boy Tommy found in her car.

"Why have the police been looking for the whereabouts of her parents for so long?" Groused Tommy.

"Let me still take care of Kevin longer. I don't want her to go back to her irresponsible parents" Irene replied.

"But anyway if his parents ask for it back we have to give it back."

"Can't we just adopt it? didn't his parents throw Kevin out?"

"I know how you feel, I also want to have children but we need to ask for their parents' consent first."

Love the moon arrives. The police tell Tommy that the parents who threw Kevin away have been found. Tommy rushed to the police station.

"Where are his parents?" Ask the police on duty.

The policeman pointed towards the woman sitting on the chair.

"What is your reason? You know out there a lot of people can't have offspring. But you were given the chance to have a child but you threw it away it's not grateful miss" Tommy said at length.

"Sir, please calm down. We've contacted his family in a minute they'll be coming here." The police spoke to Tommy. Then he turned to the woman who was the suspect of the baby's disposal. "What's the reason you threw away your baby?"

"I am ashamed that I am pregnant out of wedlock" the woman replied, bowing her head.

"You're ashamed of having children but you're not ashamed of what you did? It's funny," Tommy ledek.

"I don't want that child to ruin my future" he said.

"Destructive say? The boy was not wrong. You should regret what you did. You yourself are ruining your future. Why blame others?"

"You don't understand sir. My family is against my marriage to my lover. I love her very much. I don't want to lose him."

"And are you willing to give up your virginity to him? You were just fooled by him. Then where is he going? Does she not want to take responsibility for your pregnancy after you give birth?"

There was no answer from the woman. A moment later, his family arrived at the police station. "Sir please let go of my son!" His mother cried and pleaded with the police officer.

"Your son is guilty so we can't easily take him off."

Tommy feels sick of hearing the word 'forced' from the family of the man who dumped Kevin.

"Just because you're ashamed that your child is pregnant out of wedlock and told him to throw away the child he's born with?" Accuse Tommy.

"The man who impregnated her did not want to take responsibility after she gave birth" the mother explained.

"Why don't you sue him? You can take this matter to the police station or find another solution without having to dispose of the innocent baby" Tommy exasperated.

"I'm sorry, I'm guilty but I don't want to go to jail" asked Kevin's mother.

"Then what punishment do you think is appropriate for a woman who doesn't feel like you?" Tommy's chest went up and down with emotion.

"I will take good care of my son, I promise even though the men who impregnated me are not willing to take responsibility." The woman tried to convince the police.

"What's? What about Irene she must be disappointed if Kevin's real parents want to take it?" Inner Tommy.

"Where is my son now? Let me meet him?" Pinta the woman.

"He's at Tommy's brother's house you can meet there. But for you Miss Anisa, you have to take responsibility for what you did for throwing away the baby and that includes criminal crimes" the police officer said.

The woman named Anisa was crying so she felt sorry for doing stupid deeds and wasting her child.

"No, I don't want to go to jail let me take care of my son, he still needs me."

"No, all this time he's been fine with my wife even without you. He can live well. Didn't you throw it away? Why take it back?"

"No, give me back my baby!" Anisa's hand gripped Tommy's shirt.

Tommy takes off Anisa's hand. "We'll see in court. Whether you are still allowed to take care of your baby or not. But I won't let the boy fall into your hands" Tommy threatened.

After that Tommy came out of the police station. He called his lawyer. "Sir Baskara can we meet? I'd like to consult you, can you come to my office today?"

"I'll do it, sir."

After contacting her lawyer Tommy headed to the office to get back to work.

After lunchtime Baskara, Tommy's family lawyer, comes to see him.

"Can I help you sir?" Ask Baskara when she enters Tommy's room.

"Please sit down first. So this is how I found a baby in my car. I brought it home because the police were looking for the baby's parents."

"Why didn't you leave her at the orphanage?" Ask Baskara.

"The police said they wouldn't process my report if I left it at the orphanage. The police will consider this matter to be over."

"It shouldn't be the procedure. Even if you put it in a police orphanage, it'll still be looking for the perpetrator who dumped the baby."

"really?" Ask Tommy to make sure. Baskara.

"But I took her home and until now my wife took good care of the baby. However, after the baby's parents were found, he wanted to take it. Is there a way for the baby to stay in our home? We're planning on adopting the kid." Tommy asked his lawyer for advice.
