Click Your Heart's
The Part 151

Irma takes Irene to a restaurant. "Order the food as you like today I treat," said Irma did not forget to review the smile.

"Tumbent."

"Take it as a thank you for accompanying me to the doctor. Irene can I ask you?" Irma hesitated a bit so she asked Irene for permission.

"What's? About me not having kids?" Irma nodded.

"But if you don't want to tell a story that's okay." Irma didn't force Irene.

"As you've heard, the doctor removed my uterus because I had cancer."

"Is there no other solution?"

"Let's know, I was unconscious at the time. My husband told me the doctor suggested removing my uterus so that the cancer cells could be removed."

Irma held Irene's hand. "I'm so sorry. You are patient, yes" he said to strengthen Irene.

"I was very desperate at first because my husband couldn't accept that we couldn't have children. I even tried to kill myself, but then Alan saved me."

"Alan?" Ask Irma.

"Yes, she happened to work at the hospital where I was being treated at the time. I tried to jump off the roof of the building." Irene was a little sorry to remember the stupid thing she had done.

Irma did not expect Irene to be that desperate. "It must have been very heavy for you" said Irma.

Irene could not hold back her tears. She cried. Irma waited until Irene felt a little calm. "Mas Tommy had some doubts about our marriage after he found out that I couldn't give him any children. She was afraid her parents were telling us to separate. I asked for a divorce because she wasn't sure about me. But destiny says something else. My mother-in-law wasn't angry when she learned the fact that I couldn't give birth."

Irene's feelings were mixed when she told Irma about it. "It's lucky you have such a good mother-in-law."

"I hope so. I didn't want her to suddenly ask my husband to marry again. I often read in novels about her mother-in-law's household pretending to be nice to her son-in-law for having hidden intentions."

"Ah you mostly read novels like that. It is just writing written by humans. In the real world it doesn't necessarily happen" Irma argued.

Irene was bearded as if she agreed with what Irma said. "Forgot all your problems. The most important thing is that you have to be passionate about living this life. You know I lost my first child too. I can also feel what you feel. But the support of those around us makes us stronger. Life must go on. Enjoy what God has given us. Even if it is a trial, never give up. Giving up only makes you die slowly."

"I don't know what you're possessed so you can be this wise" Irene told Irma. Then both chuckle.

"Thank you for listening to my complaint. I honestly can't be this free to share my grief with my husband. He was always passive and cold. I just hold this sadness alone. Although you could say my in-laws care but I can't prove he wrote it or not to me. Because you know he used to be less than pleasant. I did forgive him but in fact this wound still imprints."

"Do you have a grudge against your mother-in-law?" Ask Irma curious. Honestly she wanted to know because she did not have a mother-in-law so Irma wanted to know how Irene behaved to her mother-in-law.

"I've already returned it." Irene's reply left Irma stunned. "How?"

"You know for yourself I took care of him until he recovered. It made her very sorry for ever ignoring me as her daughter-in-law. I was wasted once but I was quiet at that time. And when she was helpless I retaliated by taking care of my mother-in-law until she recovered. You know what I got now?" Irene asked Irma to guess.

"He was on my side. Evidently when I told the truth that I couldn't give her a grandchild, my mother-in-law didn't mind it. I hope he truly loves me as his daughter-in-law. Not because of the favor."

"I hope so too" said Irma. "Didn't you want to adopt a child?" Ask Irma then.

"Then look for a clear origin. If I had any advice I should adopt a baby. Because you'll be able to form a bond when he's a kid." Irene agreed with Irma's proposal.

"We'll talk about it later. I also can't wait to have a child even though I wasn't born from my womb directly. This was also an attempt to keep my husband from turning away from me."

"Yes you're right. Men's hearts are easily shaken. Especially when it comes to children's problems. Many want a child born from their immediate lineage. Which is his own flesh blood."

After finishing her meal while talking for a very long time, Irene drove Irma home.

Arriving at the door of Irma's apartment, Bayu apparently went home first. "Where have you been, I'm so worried."

"Lying," said Irma while choking.

"Ah I said goodbye, Mas Tommy was waiting for me at home."

"Thank you very much, Ren," Irene simply nodded in response to Irma's remark.

Today Tommy's meeting with a client outside. "Tania do you want to go home together or take a taxi?" Tommy asked his secretary.

"I'll just take a taxi, sir" Tania replied.

After that Tommy went to his car. "Ah, my phone is left inside." Tommy left his car unlocked.

When he came back, he heard the sound of a baby crying. Tommy's looking for the source of his voice. How shocked she was to see someone leaving her baby in Tommy's car.

"Ba-babies?" Tommy rubbed his eyes hoping he saw it wrong. But he was wrong. "How can you?" He was also confused about how to return the child to his parents.

He was confused if he asked the people around him most likely they did not believe Tommy's story. Then he thought about handing the baby over to the police.

Upon arriving at the police station Tommy held the baby. "Sir, I found a baby" Tommy told one of the police.

The policeman stood up. "Where did you find him?" Ask the police

"In my car" Tommy answered honestly. The police are doubtful of Tommy's assertion that the child was an outcast.

"Are you sure this isn't your child?" Accuse the police.

"Why do you accuse me of that?" Ask Tommy who doesn't accept it.

"I'm sorry if I offended you for many cases of outcasts. After being traced it turns out that the mother threw her son at her own father." The police clearly linked the incident today like other cases.

"I swear by anything, he's not my son."
