DEAPECTRUMS
029. LEAVE COLLEGE

The next night came so quickly. Tonight I'm with Cleve and Ian planning to escape from college, out of Poegriye Island.

I didn't think I'd run away from this place. But I'm really happy that I'm leaving Poegriye island.

I have long felt like I wanted to get out of college which is more precisely called a prison. And again I wanted to go out because I wanted to find the boy, the boy whose necklace I stole. I want to return the necklace to her. No, not only that, I also want to meet him a second time.

After our first meeting, I always wanted to see him once again. I don't know what kind of feeling makes me that way.

I and Cleve secretly tidied up all the things we wanted to carry.

Marchi who knew our plan helped us pack things. Just some clothes and weapons we brought. No more valuables belonging to both of us because several times we were punished by heart for not obeying the rules.

But the boy's necklace is still safe to keep because even though I never showed it to anyone but Cleve. Every time an examination occurred I always managed to hide it in a safe place so they could not meet. I wouldn't know what it would be like if the necklace had been taken by them.

“I did not expect if I would part with you guys,” said Marchi in a slow voice. “You guys better be careful.”

“We understand Marchi,” Cleve said. “Actually I want you to come with us, but I won't force you.”

“Marchi you must stay alive until graduation. I'm sure we'll see you again.” I tried to smile but my face was as stiff as ever.

Marchi led us to the school gate. Outside, Ian was already waiting for us by carrying his belongings which he put into a bedsheet that had already lost its color brightness. I'm sure Ian doesn't have a bag, so he used a bedsheet to carry his stuff.

“You guys ready?” Ian asked as he picked up the two pistols Cleve had thrust at him and he slipped them into his pants behind the brown t-shirt he was wearing. “Are you guys sure to come with me?”

“Not talk anymore. We better go now!” Exciting Cleve.

“True, you should quickly go before anyone sees,” said Marchi.

“Marchi take care of yourself yes,” I said staring at Marchi.

“That's right, you have to take care of yourself because Tiffany will definitely bother you.” Cleve's left hand held onto Marchi's palm.

“Marchi, thank you for everything and take care of your health.” This time Ian delivered his last message to Marchi.

“I understand friends,” smile Marchi. “You have to keep hiding because surely everyone here will be looking for you, especially you Ian. They'll kill you right away if you get caught."

“We go first,” Cleve said afterwards walking away with me and Ian, away from Marchi. “Figure yourself, Marchi.” Cleve waved his hand to return Marchi's hand.

We got on the same boat when I came to Poegriye Island. The journey through the river is about sixty minutes.

I remember when I was with Gumi on this boat, when I was about to take my college entrance exam. At that time Ian who was with his father Mr. Ekman looked at me until I felt an unpleasant feeling.

I didn't expect that Ian and I would finally be close friends. Even this time I had the same goal as him, escaping from Poegriye Island.

“Why see me?” Ian's voice broke my daydream. Unknowingly from earlier I noticed him sitting in front of me and rowing. “Is there something on my face?”

I'm looking for a topic not to respond to Ian.

“We should hide our weapons because there are many security soldiers there. We try not to get caught by them,” I said managed to find a reasonable conversation material.

“That's right, we shouldn't get caught by the security guard,” said Cleve who was sitting next to me. “Send your stuff Ian.”

“Why?” Ian asked while giving his things to Cleve.

“I'll put your things in our bags and hide the striking weapons behind your likeli.” Cleve replied busy stuffing Ian's stuff into his bag. “Give me your sword, Bee.”

I took the two swords I always lay on my back and gave them to Cleve.

“Hopefully they did not ask us to show you this content,” Cleve said as he wrapped both my sword and his long-barreled weapon. “What are you two carrying?”

“Only these two pistols you gave me,” replied Ian showing the two pistols he took from under his shirt.

“I brought this gun and three daggers,” I said showing it.

“Take this Ian.” Cleve gave Ian a dagger. “I have two pistols and two daggers. We recommend keeping these weapons in an invisible and inconspicuous place.”

I hid the gun behind my clothes like Ian did and put both daggers in each shoe because only in that place was the most comfortable.

In college they also taught us to always put daggers in our shoes because Cleve and Ian also put them in shoes like me.

“Then where will we stay?” Ask Ian.

“We can stay in my hut first,” I replied. “I hope the hut is still there.”

“Alright,” smile Cleve.

It was not long before we got to the mainland and got out of the boat immediately. The three of us immediately walked through the Sraet valley which was extremely cold.

I shivered, but I took my warm clothes out of my bag and put them on. The three of us felt very shivering even though Cleve and I had been trained to endure the cold by plunging ourselves into the river for hours, yet we both felt that the Sraet Valley was cold many times.

What about Ian who didn't do the training? He must be feeling cold at this time.

“Night the temperature in this valley many times the cold,” Cleve said.

“Close to me not to be too cold!” Ian exclaimed, and Cleve immediately walked beside Ian, embracing him. “Bee?” Ian looked at.

I immediately got closer to Ian and Ian grabbed me. I feel a little warmer now.

“If it is like this we will share the warmth of our respective bodies,” said Ian who was between me and Cleve. “Is it true in this place you won't be able to shed tears?”

For about two hours we walked out of the Sraet valley. The sun is almost up now.

It must be four in the morning. The three of us walked towards where my hut was.

I was very surprised to see that Deapectrum had changed so much. Though only eight years I left it but already many new buildings standing.

And now a lot of people are wandering around, walking the streets and not having to be afraid like before. We used to have to stay hidden so that criminals wouldn't see us.

The sun is showing more and more and more Deapectrum. We noticed some men in black uniforms carrying long-barreled guns wandering around us.

They watch people passing by. They must be security guards.

We tried to walk normally because we didn't want to show their attention. Avoid eye contact with people who are there, and try to blend in a little when walking.

We walked to my hut first. Put my hut in about an hour.

“Three of you wait a minute!” suddenly a security guard approached us.

Me, Clave and Ian looked at each other in shock.
