“Where are you going and where? Looks like I never met you guys,” asked the security soldier watching the three of us.
“Sorry sir, the three of us have just been dumped into Deapectrum so we are looking for a place for us to stay,” Ian replied lying.
“Not the world organization body has prohibited to throw people into this place since five years ago? Why are there still countries violating it? What country are you from and what mistakes did you make to be thrown into this place?” Said the security guard.
“What is this?” Suddenly another security officer came to us. “Who are they?”
“They said that they were the ones who had just been banished to this place, "answered the first security soldier. “Not since five years ago throwing humans into this place is already prohibited?”
“That's right,” said the second security warrior.
Cleve is seen wanting to pull out the gun he hid behind his shirt but Ian holds Cleve's arm to hold it.
“But there are still some countries that do not want to listen.”
“Really?” Ask the first security officer.
“Yes. There are countries that do not want to bother spending some money to take care of criminals.”
“So so. All right,” said the first soldier. Hearing her words Cleve lowered her hand and undoed her intention to take out the gun she had hidden. “But, what is it?” Ask the first soldier to point at the wrapped object like the one Ian was carrying.
“Hey, it's our job to keep the security, so as long as there's no commotion it's good right?” The second soldier.
“Alright, you can go,” says first soldier.
The three of us were relieved and walked over immediately.
“Wait a minute!” Shouts again.
We stopped and looked back at each other because we felt we had to take a run for escape if only the security guard realized what we were carrying.
“I just wanted to tell you. Currently some restaurants and inns already have official certificates so if you want to live you should work in officially certified places because if you do not work, you will not eat. Nowadays money can also be obtained by people disposal like you to buy food.”
“Thank you for the information sir,” said Ian.
“No need to thank, besides securing it is also my duty.”
“Sorry sir, then can I ask?” I asked Ian and Cleve to look at me. “Is there really an organization that will establish a government in Deapectrum and make this country a free country?”
“Yes, that's right,” replied the stocky security soldier. “Because of that warriors like us are brought to this place to make the conditions here safe.”
“Then are the people in that organization in Deapectrum as well?”
“If the problem is we don't know,” he replied. “But it seems like they are not here because it will definitely be very dangerous. The conditions here are still very chaotic because there are so many criminals roaming around. Yes, it is not here where the criminals?”
“So so. Thank you sir,” my words.
“You must be careful because I feel that you are not bad people.”
“We understand sir,” smile Ian.
Hearing the words of the security guard made me feel disappointed. I should have thought that the people in the organization did not live in this place because it would be very dangerous if anyone tried to harm them.
Is that boy? It's impossible, even I don't know if the boy belongs to that organization or not.
Even if he belongs to that organization, what can he do when he is very young. There was no way that the person Gumi was going to kill was him.
But I'm still looking for a reason why that boy came to Deapectrum eight years ago? He is currently about twenty-one years old. But I'm sure that he belongs to that organization and that's why he came to this dump eight years ago, when I met him.
When I got to where my hut was supposed to be I felt confused because there were already some magnificent buildings standing and not my hut. A restaurant was already standing where my hut used to be. I'm really confused right now.
Eight years passed and Deapectrum changed so quickly that it eliminated where I used to live. I thought of Gumi, she said she would stay in my hut while she was here, but why didn't she tell me about this matter?
“Why didn't Gumi tell me that my hut had been hit by a hive?” I asked with annoyance at Gumi. “Yeah, I'd love to hit him on the head this time. Gumi really pisses me off.”
Ian and Cleve laughed.
“So you can feel upset too huh?” Ian asked teasing me.
“So now where will we stay?” I looked at Ian and Cleve.
“My stomach is hungry, let's eat first!” Excited Cleve walked inside the restaurant and Ian followed him.
What are they doing? We don't even have the money to buy food. Before eating instead we have to work as the security soldier said earlier? What will we pay for our food?
“The two of you, we don't have a penny,” I whispered when Cleve and Ian finished ordering food to the waiter. “The restaurant is luxurious, definitely very expensive. We have to work first to get money after that we come here.”
“Work?” Cleve looked at me. “Ian let's work.” Cleve smiled at Ian and Ian returned his smile.
Cleve instantly stood up and walked out of his chair yet he collided with a luxurious pink-clothed woman complete with her fur hat as the woman wanted to walk away from her desk as well.
The woman lost her balance and was about to fall but Ian who was sitting near the woman reached her.
Cleve continued walking towards the toilet and ignored the woman. Ian quickly threw something at me. I saw that it was a wallet. The woman's wallet.
As Ian asked the woman's condition and made small talk, I quickly opened the wallet and took all the cash, and threw it from the bottom at the table of the woman he was sitting on, then put all the money I took into the bag I placed next to the chair carefully.
“My wallet?” The woman immediately realized that her purse was gone when Ian finished asking for her condition. “Where is my wallet?”
“What's the miss?” Ian asked kindly.
“You stole my wallet, right?” The woman's face was flushed with anger. “You're the lady friend who hit me, right? You two must have stolen my wallet. Return it now!” Shouted the woman.
Hearing her screams, all the servants came up to us.
"He stole my wallet!” He yelled at the waiter who asked what happened.
“Sorry, what does miss mean?” Ian stood up.
“What is this?” Cleve who returned from the direction of the toilet, asked with a face pretending not to understand what was happening. “Miss I'm sorry, earlier I really wanted to pee until it hit you.”
“You stole my wallet? Return my wallet now!” Furious at the woman with a face that really looked very angry at Cleve.
