006. MEANINGFUL MEETING

My eyes stopped at an object on the left side of the bed. I approached him to find out what the sparkling thing was. It turned out to be a necklace with a pendant of the letter 'L'.

I put it into my grasp and thought I wanted to have this thing. Without a second thought I put the necklace into my pants pocket and soon the boy came in.

He brought a basket full of bread that gave off a delicious aroma like the aroma I smelled when I was in the kitchen.

The boy placed the basket of bread on his bed and put it in a plastic bag that he also carried. I just stood there without approaching him.

"It's eat." The boy offered a peanut donut that looked very tempting.

I swallowed my saliva before taking it and then devoured it. Really delicious, I've never eaten a meal this late. I can't wait to give these delicious breads to Jatnera, she will definitely cry out of joy.

"How old are you?" Ask the boy.

"Ten."

"We're three years adrift then. I have a little sister who doesn't know where. Maybe if you meet you you can be friends." Said the boy while busy putting the bread into a plastic bag. "It must be hard to live here?"

The boy looked at me and I kept quiet.

"Look, I'm gonna change this place for the better." He smiled as if his words were easy.

I turned my body towards the window of the room against the boy who was still busy putting bread after bread into the plastic bag carefully. I don't know how far I ran and I don't know what floor I'm on. But certainly the view from up here looks so comfortable, it feels if I am always in a high place I can see everything so that I can avoid anything.

I thought about how my future would be in this land of exile. Whether after coming out of this luxurious room I can survive longer, or there will be no future in my life. Thinking about it made me always shudder in fear.

"And what about after this?" The boy's words awakened me from the daydream.

I looked at him who was standing at a distance of four meters from me. Looking at that kid from here makes me really envious of him. Beautiful clothes and abundant food, she did not need to think about her future existing or nonexistent.

What if I kill him can take the place of the boy? Ah, what I thought, that boy was so kind to me and has saved my life, envy is no reason to be ungrateful to him.

"It's almost seven o'clock, outside it must have been a lot of people."

Oh no, how can I forget time. Then how do I get home?

"I'd better go now." My speech.

"Wait a minute!" Excited the boy. The boy opened his wardrobe and picked up a large suitcase from inside. "It's dangerous if you get caught. Get in this suitcase and I'll have the guards put you in the back of the hotel." The boy said with a serious look. "Just relax I'll tell the guard not to open the suitcase, you'll be safe. How's it?"

I thought of the boy's idea with the consequences. I'm not too sure that the guard won't be curious about the contents of the suitcase but looking at the face of the boy who said with confidence maybe this isn't a bad idea.

I nodded in answer.

He opened the suitcase and looked at me making me want to not want to get into the big blue suitcase.

"This is your bread." The boy gave me a big bag of bread. "Hhhm, there's nothing you want to say?" The question confused me. "Indeed I should not ask but in all free countries will repay one's kindness..."

"Thank you." My speech. "There was no school or manners lessons here, but my grandmother taught it to me." My words made him smile.

"Not that I'm not happy but in my country comes the word thank you always accompanied by a kiss."

I looked at her confusedly as I did not understand the meaning of the word 'Kiss'. Isbell didn't teach me that word.

"There's no need to think about it." Smile the boy. "Hold on, I'm sure one day I'll see you again."

After the boy said this, he told me to lie down in a suitcase, put a large bag of bread next to me and close the suitcase.

After that he went out of the room and went back in with the guard. The boy ordered the guard to throw the suitcase behind the hotel as he had said. He also threatened that the guard would not open the suitcase.

Somehow the guard did not ask much to hear the strange orders of the boy. Not long after I was in the suitcase feels floating, the guard must have lifted the suitcase in which is me.

It was so dark and hard to breathe that I felt right now. Inside the suitcase that fits me so well that I can't move and can only curl up.

My body also hurt because several times the guard lowered the suitcase so that I who was in the suitcase hit something. Even so I kept my mouth shut and tried not to grimace in pain.

Not long after I felt my body stop moving after the suitcase was placed.

Did I get to the back of the hotel? I waited a few minutes to find out but there was no movement. I am not strong and want to breathe fresh air because in the suitcase is very stifling.

After that I tried to find a zipper this suitcase with a knife that was given a boy I did not know his name. I looked for the light from the zipper gap and poked it with a knife but failed.

My hands felt sore and the situation in the suitcase really made me feel powerless. But I have to get out of this suitcase otherwise I will die from asphyxiation. I took a deep breath and held it, then poked back the briefcase zipper.

It almost failed for the second time but I quickly inserted my index finger into the retseleting gap and pushed the zipper with the finger. My fingers hurt but my efforts were not in vain. I managed to make a wide gap. Then I put my palm in and pushed back the zipper with all my might until the suitcase fully opened.

I got out quickly and breathed some fresh air. Sitting on the ground with breaths. I'd be dead if I didn't open the suitcase.

How lucky I am today. All thanks to that boy, if there wasn't him I would have caught two slaves chasing me and they would have killed me immediately. I took a bag of bread in the suitcase.

How happy I am today to have had enough delicious food for two weeks. I'd better go home and give these buns to Jatnera for sure he'll be very happy. I got up and confirmed the position of the gun that I kept behind my shirt after that immediately walked home.
