“Sorry, miss what is your wallet?” A waiter asked, pointing to a purse under the table where the woman was sitting.
The woman took her wallet. Of course it's his wallet that the money in it I've taken before.
“Sorry lady, I saw that the wallet was already there from earlier. Maybe you dropped it when you were leaving,” Ian told the woman.
“Ma, I'm sorry. I'm sorry,” said the woman turned back to Ian and Cleve.
“All right we understand,” said Ian smiling kindly.
The woman immediately left the restaurant in a hurry without checking the contents of her wallet again. I feel sorry for him. I took all his money and his wallet was empty without him noticing.
“Please, this is food ladies and gentlemen.” A male servant placed the food we ordered on our table. “And this bill for all ordered.”
Cleve and Ian looked at me. Feeling a little upset, I immediately took the money I put in the bag and paid the bill to the waiter.
Ian and Cleve kept looking at me when the maid left.
“Why are you guys looking at me?” I asked in wonder. “Listen yes I don't like if you guys steal again.” I tried to speak in a soft tone so that no one would hear what I was saying except Ian and Cleve.
“We didn't steal it,” said Ian looking at me. “The one who took the money was you, Bee.”
“What did you say?” I cried with annoyance until my voice sounded louder.
“Not us the thief,” Ian added.
“So you're accusing me?” I said very angry. “Well then I will return it to the woman and apologize.”
Hearing what I said the two of them laughed out loud, making me even more upset.
“You two are!” My growl tried to hold back the anger I felt towards Ian and Cleve.
“Why do you always tease her?” Cleve asked while laughing at Ian.
Ian did not answer anything, he just tried to hold back his laughter by glancing at me who still looked annoyed at him.
After we finished eating, we left the restaurant where the ground of the building was the hut I used to live with Isbell and Jatnera.
"Where are we going to live now?" Cleve asked with a sigh.
"We have to find a place to stay before the sun goes down" Ian said. "Bee, how much money is left?" Ian turned to me who was standing behind himself and Cleve.
I took out the rest of the money we stole. It turned out that all the money we stole was a lot. The woman must be a very rich person so she carried that much cash. I'm not surprised, that's why he came to Deapectrum. Ian guessed that the woman was an investor who deliberately came to this place to open a place of business.
"I think it's still enough for us to temporarily stay somewhere" I replied after recalling something.
I invited Cleve and Ian to live temporarily in Pond Jae where Isbell used to be a slave.
The hotel was also the place where I met the boy who had helped me. So I was thinking if it was in Deapectrum he would have stayed in that fancy hotel. We booked the cheapest room for the money we stole.
The three of us entered the hotel room we had rented. The place is not too big when compared to the hotel rooms occupied by boys first.
“So this feels like free living,” said Ian who was in front of the window.
He must be looking out the window right now with a permeation to his freedom.
“Deapectrum will be a free country, it sounds that good,” exclaimed Cleve lying in bed. “Thus there will be no more fear of hunger or fear of being killed by criminals.”
“Yes that's right,” said Ian turned his body around.
I just stood looking at the two of them at a loss as to what to do at the moment.
“There will be no more slavery," continued Ian.
“How about you Bee? Do you agree or not if Deapectrum becomes a free country?” Cleve asked sat on the bed looking at me.
“Why haven't they come from before?” My words are still standing. “If they come faster then it won't be this difficult.”
“What do you mean?” Ian looked at.
“If the current condition of Deapectrum had happened eight years ago, then I would not have experienced all this,” I replied staring at Ian. “I definitely didn't lose the grandmother who raised me. And also not parting with my sister. Besides, I don't need to get into a college that will make me a killer.”. “Why is this condition happening now?”
“Don't think about the things that have happened, Bee!” Exciting Cleve came to me. “What we have to do now is just let this good condition happen for Deapectrum, because the past is not important anymore because everything is long gone. What is very important is the future that we will live later.” Cleve hugged me while patting my shoulder.
...***...
I looked out the window at night. Cleve and Ian were going out to look for food, whereas I was alone in a hotel room.
The deapectrum has really changed. It used to be that night fell darkness covered the whole country but now it is no longer.
Currently, magnificent luxury buildings have stood upright with a variety of colorful lights, so it looks so beautiful.
People can also walk without fear with the herd of criminals because even at night some security soldiers are still on guard.
Seeing all the things happening in Deapectrum made me feel so happy that I shed tears.
Who are the people who can turn Deapectrum into what it is today?
I took the necklace with the L pendant that belonged to the boy from the pocket of the trousers I was wearing.
Every time I see this necklace I feel a new hope.
Who's the boy? Eight years have passed, and yet I have not forgotten that kind-hearted boy in the least. I don't know what his name is. The only thing left of him was this necklace.
Is he among the organizations that have made Deapectrum what it is today?
“I didn't know you had this expensive looking thing.” Ian suddenly came and took the necklace from my hand.
