It's seven o'clock. With my eyes still sleepy, I hurried to the bathroom which was also in the room for ablution. Last night because I slept too late, I finally had to wake up late so that the dawn prayer. Even so I keep praying, it is better to be late than not praying at all.
Brucks. Brucks. Brucks. Along with the greetings, someone banged on my room door. Followed by the scream. Apparently Riko, Reni's classmate, is also an organization with us. I've known him for a long time. He asked for my help to be a match between himself and Reni. But it was rejected outright by Reni.
"What's wrong Ko, early in the morning has come here "I said, a little annoyed at the shock of the way he knocked on the door.
"Reni, Ben. Reni," he said while pointing outwards
"Why Reni?"
"The night he went missing, we thought he went home after his illness, but he didn't. Reni is a victim of a motorcycle gang. It was found in the bush of a football field east of the hospital, he ...." Riko could not continue the story, she cried while on her knees.
"Innalilahi, Reni why Ko? The right story. Don't cry!" I was already carried away by emotions, immediately attracting the young doctor to get back up and tell stories.
"He was a victim of abuse" Riko cried again.
Apparently, last night, after I left, Reni who was likely to return to the hospital in the face of a motorcycle gang that had been lurking since we both walked to Lesehan. Not only did they take Reni's valuables, they also forcibly seized her chastity. Reni was found early in the morning in the bushes of the football field that were still around the hospital. But if the night there is quiet, it can even be ascertained that no one went there that late.
There was nothing wrong with losing Reni. It was only discovered when one of Reni's friends who also happened to be relatives contacted her mother early in the morning at dawn. Ask if Reni is okay because the car is still parked even though the person has been gone since last night. His mother must have panicked since last night he did not come home, whose parents knew Reni had night service and usually only returned home at seven in the morning.
At five in the morning too, on the connection of his parents, all looking for Reni assisted by the police, an hour later he was found and how shocked when the poor girl was found in a terrible condition.
"Where is Reni now?" I also got carried away, crying to hear Reni's current condition. As a close friend, I did not hear that story. I feel sorry for him.
"He's in the hospital, still in treatment because in addition to the injuries, Reni also seems to be traumatized" Riko said.
We both headed to the hospital. I didn't even get to change clothes, just wearing a t-shirt and training pants that sleep. In front of the room where Reni was being treated, already waiting for her crying parents to cuddle, as well as Reni's family and friends.
They must have been very hit with what happened to Reni, all happened suddenly, let alone Reni was an only child. Her parents' hope is with Reni.
"We were supposed to accompany Reni last night. We thought we had a friend because someone picked him up last night. He even went back to the ER after the one who picked him up came." Said his co-worker.
I'm silent. Trying to digest this incident, plus the stories of his friends.
The incident that happened to Reni occurred around the Eastern area of the hospital. It happened after I left it. Surely Reni went home alone and the biker gang did his lecherous act.
Shit, I'm really disappointed in myself. Knowing the location was very vulnerable, but why was it so stupid to leave Reni alone. I should have taken her back to the hospital together. At least if in the hospital he can go back to his house in his own car and it's much safer than leaving himself in the area.
Aghhhh, I'm really guilty. I've been careless letting Reni in big trouble. He had to suffer like this.
Brucks. I immediately calmed down in front of Reni's parents.
"Why Ben?" Ask her friends who know me.
"Sir, Ma'am .. forgive me. I was wrong. I shouldn't have let Reni alone. Last night I was the one who picked him up in the ER. But he took me to eat in East Lesehan. After eating I went home first, let Reni alone there so she had to experience this all "I said.
"You?" reni's mother pointed at me.
Reni's father pulled the neck of my shirt, then punched me in the face until I staggered to the floor.
"Bajing-you yeah. Irresponsible man, how dare you leave our Princess in danger!" His father said, pointing at my face. "I will not forgive you. You must be rewarded for what you did!" just as Reni's father was about to hit me, the police who were there immediately jumped in, separating the two of us. "Take me off. That man has hurt my daughter. Now I'm going to teach him a lesson. I will kill him with my own hands so that my daughter's pain can be avenged!" Father said.
As strong as possible, Reni's father tried to hit me, but the police were quite a lot until I managed to escape from his father's grip.
"Sir, if I cannot repay this boy with my hand, I will send him to prison. Please take him to the police station sir, arrest him, let him rot in jail!" His father Reni said.
The police chief who was in place immediately ordered his subordinates to take me to the police station. Until there I was questioned, but because I was not proven guilty, at that time I was released even though I actually wanted to be in prison for making Reni like that.
"There's nothing that can happen to you, so we can't arrest you" said the police, who were overwhelmed because I kept asking in prison.
"But sir, because I left my friend so Reni was like this. So just hold me, sir." I asked, crying and pleading with the police.
Now the police have to work hard to get me out of their office because I still don't want to leave. I want to be arrested, I'm guilty of making a good-natured girl suffer like this.
The sky this morning was actually very bright, but it felt gloomy for me because of the test that happened to Reni. If time could be repeated again, I regret not letting Reni alone there. I'll take her not only to the hospital, but to her house to keep her safe.
