Suddenly a Husband
Before Abah leaves

I know this is the hardest choice for Abah. I'm sure Abah loved Ami, the only daughter he had. But Abah is also a high-hearted human being, abstaining from defeat. Retreating revenge was a hard thing for Abah. But today Abah cannot not choose.

"Ashadualla Ila Haillallah, Wa ashadamanna Muhammadarrasulullah. La Ila Haillallah!" I said. He repeated it a few times to be sure that Abah had followed him.

"Innalilahi wa Inna ilaihi Raji'un" we said. Ami and I cried, letting go of the man who became the head of the family. The man who was once our enemy but at the end became the man we loved so much.
