Suddenly a Husband

Suddenly a Husband
Roads Around Bukittinggi

Yohana this morning is beautiful, she is wearing the brackets I bought. His face looked more cheerful than usual. Along the way he kept chattering to two children, he continued, I chimed in occasionally. Seeing the way Yohana treated them, it seemed like she really loved the two children, but it was natural, from the look of the child was less taken care of, his body was thin, his clothes were dull. I intend later in Bukittinggi will buy them new clothes. Yesterday I didn't buy them because I didn't know where they were.

Our journey took almost an hour because I stopped often, taking them to eat and rest. I want these walks all to be happy. From their expressions it seemed like they were happy.

Arriving at Bukittinggi, I took them the way to the zoo. We go around telling stories. Yohana told me the most, about the animals. Near the place of the elephant, I took the children on an elephant ride, of course after the izib first to Yohana, the mother continued them did not want to come, choosing to wait on the edge. They were very excited even though the previous scavenger Upik had been afraid because the elephant we rode was the largest among his friends.

"Mother ... Mother ...up the elephant was very cool. We were invited to go around. The elephant is high. You see no? His face was strong, ma'am, he could lift four people!" exclamation Puti who turned out to be six years old, while her brother seven years.

"Want to go up again, won't you?" my many.

"You want to, want to!" Upik answered first.

"really? Afraid again, no? Ask to come down again?" i marked.

"Hehehe, no om. Upik was no longer afraid. Now Upik is brave. Really deh. Upik wants to go up again. Can you please, Mom? Later if we come here again Upik want to go up again!" said it. Begging to Yohana.

"Yes yes. Doain so that mom has money to bring you here again" said Yohana, stroking the princess' head.

Seeing that sight made me feel overwhelmed. How much these children seem to love Joanna. God gave them into the lap of Johana, only Johana who had not yet found happiness. If I had been allowed to, and cornering the man's wife was not a big sin, maybe I would have brought a mother and two children.

"Om, let's take a walk." Puti broke my daydream.

"Huh, uh yeah. Come on!" I said. "If Upik and Puti want to walk again, next week om will invite you to obey Yohana's mother, obey all her orders and diligent school." I said, giving conditions.

Joanna and the two children were silent.

"Lho why? O, om know, you guys like the holidays huh? Can't be like that. For example, Yohana Dong's mother, Bu Hana was the most diligent school. In the past, if the long holiday was always sad, because at home all the work he did was fussy." I tried to be funny but then realized that my guyonan was very crisp. "Sorry, sorry. It's just kidding." I said. "Han, I'm sorry." I said to Yohana.

"We don't go to school, um" Upik said.

"There's no money, Ben. Their letters don't exist anyway." Yohana answered.

"Oh, I'm sorry." So that they don't dissolve in the sadness that I've made, so I invite them back around the zoo.

The children were very happy to be invited to the rabbit garden. They were so happy to feed the rabbits..Even they were babbling, long ago wanted to raise rabbits..When I offered to buy a rabbit cub, Yohana forbade because there was no land to raise the rabbit. They only live in one room. Yohana also said, sometimes they go to her mother's place.

"Han, are you happy?" I asked, as we sat on the outskirts, watching Upik and Puti from a distance, because they went into the Rabbit's cage to feed.

Yohana nodded. "Thank you, Ben, for bringing us here."

"Yes. I'm also sorry I just brought you here. Since childhood you have never been to the zoo." I said, remembering our childhood.

Yohana, despite the status of Abah's adopted son and Mother, but she is needed like a maid. If our family goes for a walk then he will be left. One day I never sulk do not want to come because Yohana was not invited, he said, though we who were already sitting in elementary school had made plans to play what in the tourist attractions that we will visit, but the decision of Mommy was unanimous that Yohana did not need to join. He should stay guarding the house. Very disappointed, I decided not to go. I could not bear if he had to be left alone again, so I decided to accompany him.

The decision I made invited Abah's wrath. As a result, our family did not take a walk. In fact it was our last moment of vacation, after which there was never again an agenda of family outings.

"Ben, thank you. You've always been good to me." He throws a smile. "You've always taken care of me, been fair to me."

Yohana .. Can I take care of you forever? Can we be happy together? I looked at his sad face which was now looking towards Upik and Puti.

"Where are we going after this? Going home?" ask Yohana, but the question stopped because we looked at each other, but then both threw it away.

"What if we go to the market? Is there something I want to buy?" I said, it was a little awkward to be caught looking at him. I'm really afraid he misunderstood and changed because he wasn't happy with me. I don't mean to be evil, just really feel guilty about her, and wonder, is she happy with her life?

The four of us continued our journey, before going to the market, we stopped by Zuhur prayer at the mosque near Jam Gadang, and had lunch there. Eat satay Padang and ice guess. Children buy snacks martabak and noodle crackers. Seeing their behavior made the affection in my heart grow for these two children. I hope they feel happiness. Their lives are no different from Yohana's. Not getting the affection of her biological parents. The difference is, if you take care of Johana, they will get affection.

After eating, we shop. I bought them three stels each, shoes and sandals. They also bought the three of them. Upik and Puti have none at all. While Yohana's possession was sold by their father. My heart was really upset to hear the words of the two brothers who said that the clothes of Johana were all sold by their father, including the face so that if the prayer, Yohana always wore a sarong tied to the face. Really too their father. Maybe later if we meet I'll teach him a little lesson!
