Three hours later outside the operating room in the waiting room a woman was seen pacing back and forth. The woman is Himiko, Tomoka's mother. For the past three hours she has been passing by the waiting room until her husband fears she will leave a permanent trail on the floor.
Sitting with a heavy expression Nagi was just waiting for news of her daughter's condition while praying. When a ninja with news of their daughter comes to their house, they can't believe it. Little Tomoka should have slept well in her room. When they checked he was gone, a pillow had been placed under the blanket.
What happened next could only be described as the worst day of their lives. After they were rushed to the hospital, the news they received was heartbreaking. Tomoka's right arm was in a very bad condition and even worse, Tenketsu's spot on his arm was badly damaged. He would not be able to use it for jutsu in the future.
Now they are just waiting and praying that he can at least maintain the mobility of his arms, despite all the evidence to suggest it is. An hour later the surgeon entered the waiting room, his expression hard to read even for a trained shinobi. However, one can see two emotions even if only slightly, worry and awe.
Doctor Motoi doesn't know what to do. Tomoka's body was a mystery to him. When he was called in to perform emergency surgery on a one-year-old, he did not expect to see his arm in such a state. The whole piece of meat was gone and a lot of bleeding was welcoming him. Without wasting any time, he began the procedure.
First he started sewing what he could be together. The man's nerves, muscles, tendons, blood vessels worked tirelessly to repair as much damage as he could. He did not deceive himself. He knows that even though he is good at his job, he is not that good. He'll be paralyzed for the rest of his life. Even Miss Tsunade would find it hard to fix something like this.
What he did not expect was that medical jutsu became that effective. Whenever a medical jutsu is applied to the wound, it seems to close faster than usual. Even worse is the view. His flesh would move and sway, reshaping itself in a completely abnormal way.
As he continued the operation, he could see the previous work being canceled by his flesh because it was repairing itself with far more efficiency than his own work. He knew that his work did help but in the end it seemed unnecessary.
The most surprising thing was the news given by the Hyuga members present. His previously shattered meridians and tenket points also regenerated, something that should have been impossible. However, the miracle seemed to stop there when something else happened.
As the flesh healed and regenerated, his arms began to be covered by a viscous black substance. The curious Doctor Motoi took some samples. A moment later the substance began to harden forming what he could only describe as a carapace of black insects covering his arm.
For a while no one said anything. Doctor Motoi wonders what to do now. From one perspective, the operation was a success. However, this new development is worrying. He did not need to think too much about it because a while later the carapace started to crack. Not long after, it broke and fell to the ground. The previously hard steel carapace was now as fragile as overripe clay.
Soon they discovered that the difference was the lack of chakra in the carapace. Now, without chakra it becomes brittle and fragile. However, even more shocking than that was Tomoka's arm. It was in perfect condition with no scars or anything that could hint at an earlier injury. The only visible difference was the black mark that covered his arm from finger to elbow.
Doctor Motoi made the suggestion that this might be a new kekkei genkai. After all, he had to report this to his parents and superiors, perhaps even hokage.
“First of all, let me tell you that your daughter is fine. We managed to heal his arm, but I also had some.” Worrying news After that Motoi explained what he did and saw in the operating room.
“So my little Tomoka arm is fine? Can he use it well?” Himiko ignored the strange incident because her priority was elsewhere. He just wanted to know if Tomoka could use his arm like any other normal person.
“From what we can observe, he should be able to use it without any problem. However we will only know for sure once he wakes up” Motoi can only smile wryly because Himiko is a bit too close for the comfort of the moment.
“Will there be any complications with what happened to his arm? You said it was covered by black carapace” Nagi was quieter than Himiko so after making sure that Tomoka was fine, she was curious about the strange incident.
“Then be honest Nagi-san we don't know. This is a first for us. However, we believe it may have something to do with the new kekkei genkai as it does not seem to have a negative impact on it. Only when he wakes up will we know for sure.”
