Other World Chimera
Weird ball

A slightly worried Tomoka entered his mindscape. What he found was a sour-looking Kurama sitting in front of the central lake.

“So, what are you talking about? I don't see anything wrong” As he said that, Tomoka felt a bad feeling. Like there was something that wasn't supposed to be there.

[look up and tell me what it is] Using one of its tails, Kurama pointed upwards.

In the sky above the strange picture was painted. A white sphere floated in the sky with lightning continuously striking the surrounding air. The circumference of the sphere is determined by a strange distortion of light, similar to the event horizon of a black hole.

What makes it even stranger is the perception that both have of the ball. Somehow Tomoka knew the object was nearly a centimeter in diameter, yet it fell extremely large in the sky above.

"What the fuck is that, and what's he doing here, and why didn't you tell me earlier?" Tomoka glared at Kurama, this is important. This place was equivalent to his soul. Whatever happens here will greatly affect him.

[Well, to answer your first two questions, don't know. As for the last one. Since doing nothing, I thought it would be better to calm you down first] Kurama was a bit embarrassed about that.

"Whatever, the important thing right now is to figure out what it is" Sighing Tomoka concentrated back to the anomaly in his mindscape.

Seeing the red lightning gave him a familiar feeling, but he did not know why. After a while he decided to experiment a little. First he tried to move the ball through his will. Nothing, that thing doesn't budge. In fact, it felt as if it was firmly embedded within his mindscape.

The next thing he tried was to use his chakra to examine it. As he flew towards the ball, he felt it pull his chakra. That power quickly tore apart a portion of his control and devoured it, expanding momentarily. The next second a red lightning struck him.

He hoped to feel the usual pain and numbness as electricity flowed throughout the body. Instead he felt his perception hasten for a moment. It was just an instant, no more than a split second in real time.

"Yes, I'm fine." Not paying too much attention to Kurama, Tomoka returned to her mind.

Along with the increase in perception, some information entered his mind. Just a little piece, a name: Speed-strength. As soon as his mind caught up and understood the name, he froze. There is no way something like that would appear here.

The power of speed was intended to be a fundamental force of existence in the DC world. However, he was in Naruto's world, that thing shouldn't be here! Not to mention knowing what the speed power of his comic lore was, Tomoka knew it was mastered.

In an instant Tomoka felt excited and tried to summon the power of speed once again. In the flash comics it's just about wanting to use it. However, nothing happened. No, something did happen but it was disappointing.

He could feel his perception accelerating once again, yet it was negligible. The difference between having and not like a beach has extra grains of sand or not. This made Tomoka's face pout. He could feel the power of speed following his will, however, something was troubling.

He looked at the small ball for a while. Suddenly understanding hit him. The ball was actually a portal. Through it the power of speed flowed into him. However, the opening was too small for anything significant to go through. When the portal took out its chakra, it used it to increase its size momentarily allowing more speed power to flow through it.

Wanting to ascertain his theory, Tomoka sent a large amount of chakra to the portal. About sixty percent of his chakras flew towards the portal. In an instant the chakra is absorbed quickly causing the portal to expand rapidly.

[What the hell are you doing!?]

"Experimenting" Once again ignoring Kurama, Tomoka observes the change. The lightning around the portal increased in intensity and he could feel it encompassing his body, mind, and soul. If he wanted it, it would do his wish and give him his strength. However, it did not last long.

As soon as it expands, it contracts once again. Everything only lasts a moment. With this Tomoka understood a few things about this power of his speed.
