Meet with foxes

A moment later Hinata and Nozomi found themselves standing near a clear lake. Behind them, a lush green forest stretched as far as the eye could see. Looking around, the first thing they noticed was a large building that floated a few meters above the middle of the lake.

"Where is this?" Surprised by what he saw, Hinata could only mutter.

"This Hinata my dear is the scene of my mind" Tomoka suddenly appeared beside Hinata giving her a hint of fear.

"So what do you think? Neat right?” Tomoka felt a little satisfied looking at the amazed expression of her boyfriend.

""Yes""" Still confused by what they saw, the two answered in unison.

What followed was a short tour. Before they came to a giant fox who was napping on a large flat rock in the open where the sun was shining. Of course a rock or an open place is normal. They have been the fox's gift for the deal before.

"Oi, Kurama, we have a guest" said Tomoka giving the giant fox a slight kick to his front leg

'I can't believe this guy managed to fall asleep in such a short amount of time'

[I can still hear you brat] Kurama felt a little grumpy after being woken up in a rude manner

'I know ~' Tomoka doesn't care anyway

“Let me introduce you. Ahem, Hinata, Nozomi, this Kurama is also known as Kyubi”

[Oi! Who gave you permission to share my name with them] At this point Kurama didn't really care that Tomoka shared his name with them. After all, he also liked the two more so that in time he would share them himself. But in principle, he still had to complain.

In Kurama's eyes, Nozomi is the only good Uchiha as she watches him grow up with Tomoka and Hinata. Nozomi did not become power-hungry nor was she driven by revenge. He can be called good to an Uchiha and teasing and making fun of Tomoka is the best time Kurama has had in a long time.

Looking at Nozomi's eyes as she apologized she found no hatred or anger. No, it's wrong, deep down the dark emotions are there, just not aimed at him. Instead, what he found was sadness and longing.

“I accept your apology. Seeing how you interact so casually and amicable with Tomoka made my heart feel serene. I can see that you two have grown up to be good friends or even like family. Even so I have a request to make.

If you are truly sorry for what happened in the past, please protect Tomoka”

Kurama could only smile at Nozomi's words.

[Well, it's as if I need a bad boy to tell me what to do. I will help and protect him. Comfortable here, I would rather stay here than be placed in one of the very uncomfortable seals] As he said that Kurama was starting to leave. After all, as the strongest tailed monster, he had to protect his pride.

“That's the way to agree. The giant fox was tsundere so don't mind it” Hearing Tomoka's words, Kurama couldn't help her stiff expression. However, she knew from experience that trying to argue with Tomoka would not result in anything so she ignored him and left.

"Well, when you're done, do you have any questions?"

"Wouldn't he be sealed?"

“Oh... about that…” And like that Tomoka spent the next few minutes explaining what she had done followed by an hour-long lecture by her friends about taking care of herself and what not.
