dealing with Kurama

So I didn't edit this chapter because I was lazy. I'll do it later bye :p

Life goes on, a year has passed since the Kyuubi attack. Currently Tomoka was able to walk even with shaky steps. After that incident, her parents became very protective of her. As the village shinobi, they knew that Tomoka would be looked down upon for having the bijuu sealed within him. Himiko and Nagi will pamper him and spoil him. Any other child would have been rotten by now. 

On the other hand Tomoka has made a deal with Kurama. Thanks to that they trust each other very much now and can even be said they are friends. Kurama will always deny it.

"Hey Kurama, I have a deal for you" the arrogant Tomoka stood before the seal of Kurama. 

[What do you want, boy. Although I agree to help you, I have never given you permission to use my name]

"Oh Kurama, we'll be stuck with each other until I die so we'd better be friends with each other, wouldn't we?"

[As if I want to be friends with humans]  

"Well, I want to at least try because I'd rather not have a grumpy and unfriendly fox as my roommate for the rest of my life. There's nothing I can do about that bad-tempered part."

[How about you leave me alone, I won't listen to any other words you say]

"Oh and here I'm thinking of releasing that seal for you buddy. Must be very uncomfortable. Oh well, nothing to do here, bye"

Hearing those words, Kurama's ears lifted. That's very uncomfortable. Not to mention without the seal he could break free whenever he wanted. He had no idea what Tomoka was planning, but as long as he removed the seal, it didn't matter. 

[I'm listening, what's your proposal?]

"Not much. All I want is for you to promise not to run away and kill me and I'll take off the seal, I promise" 

[What makes you believe I won't disavow my words and run away afterwards?] 

"Simply put, I've seen enough of you from my past life to know that you won't break the promise you made. You hate humans and would rather not do what they do, which is stab each other in the back"

Kurama was silent for a moment. He hates Tomoka's guts but he's right. As long as he gave his word, he would not pull it back. At least not as long as the other party did the same. 

[Well, I promise not to try to get out, kill you, or try and control your body]

"That's all I need to hear" With a bright smile Tomoka moved forward to remove the seal. He's risking his life here. As soon as he released his seal, his life would be in Kurama's hands. However, he still decided to go through it If he managed to befriend Kurama then he would have a great start. 

As his hand began to pull the seal paper, a hand caught his wrist.on his left Minato appeared with a stern look. 

“Tomoka-chan I don't know what Kyuubi told you but he lied. As soon as you remove the seal, he will try to escape and you will die” Tomoka was surprised for a moment until he remembered that this also happened in the original story of Naruto.

"Quiet Minato-san, Kurama has given her promise that she won't and she never reneges on her words" Tomoka smiled towards Minato. For a moment Minato was flabbergasted as her red hair brightened and her smile reminded him of Kushina. 

Utilizing his distraction, Tomoka removed the seal. However, the problem remains. Although the seal has weakened because he pulled it. He did not have the key to remove it completely. 

[Oi son, you don't have the key, do you?]

“Hahaha, ups that part flashed in my head, sorry!”

[No problem, I should have been able to finish the seal even though it would be very painful]

"Please then I don't mind getting a little sick"

“Tomoka! Stop this stupid task. You have to fight Kyuubi!” Minato's panic was always high. He might be able to re-seal Kyuubi with the chakra he has, but that is only if Tomoka helps him do so.         

Before Minato could think of a plan, he saw Kyuubi slamming his body into a cage representing the seal. As he does so, cracks begin to appear in the bars of Kyuubi's cell. In a panic, Minato starts his attempt to restrain Kyuubi but Tomoka stands in front of him.

"Minato-san please stop, this is my decision. I trust Kurama to keep her promise so I have to stop you if you want to interfere" 

Minato could see a strong determination in Tomoka's eyes. At this point there was not much he could do other than watch and hope for a good result.

"I understand. I hope you know what you did” Because of that, he loosened his position and instead looked towards Kyuubi, no, Kurama. 

Soon enough, Kurama's giant body hits the cage a second time. The cracks spread further and surely the cage would break with a third impact. It was then that Minato realized he could release the seal himself. But now it's too late. Kurama's body slammed the cage for the third time, unsealing it completely. 

As soon as the cage broke Tomoka felt a great pain. If he had to describe his pain, it was akin to breaking a few bones. 

"Don't joke, it hurts" 

[I told you]

"Are you okay Tomoka-chan"

"Yes, just a little sick, not a lot" 

After that, they started talking. Tomoka told Minato about the biju and how they were not beasts. Minato apologized to Kurama and Kurama for doing the same though reluctantly. Moments later Minato's chakra runs out so he disappears from Tomoka's mindscape.

"That went well. Yo, Kurama, how does it feel to be free or rather free I guess"

[Not bad actually. My body became stiff from not moving for too long]

"Good to hear. Though this place still looks as gloomy and annoying as ever" As she commented she looked around. That place looks like a sewer. 

[You need to train your mind if you want to change your mindscape]

"I think it's on the wish list right now"
