But things are not going as they should.
"That's disgusting."
Aurora felt confused, she felt dizzy and tired. His mind came to a halt as if crashing into a concrete wall. No matter how much he tried, his brain seemed to be unable to understand what had happened. The worst of all is how his heart was hurt. It was as if someone was squeezing it with all their might. It felt like his heart would stop beating at any moment.
"I don't understand." That was all Aurora could say as she tried to stay on her feet, her legs felt like gelatin, her muscles like lead. He really doesn't understand what's going on.
“What can you not understand? You disgust me! To think I consider you a friend. I feel like vomiting now.” Hearing that the little power that Aurora left behind was thrown away. His legs gave up as he fell to the floor.
“Cih, no wonder you were alone back then. To think you are a lesbo. I can't believe I've been hanging out with a sinner for the last two years!” As Susan continued to speak, Aurora felt her life crumble before her.
“Never talk to me again, forever.” With that, Susan left. Aurora herself felt tears fall from her cheeks as she watched her retreat.
"What mistake have I made?" Aurora's words came out of her mouth without her consent. He just wants to understand.
"Born." That was all Susan responded to before disappearing behind a corner.
When Aurora sees her first love just go away, she tries to think, to understand. How could such a beautiful feeling of love turn into what she was feeling now? How can it be so painful? It's all so wrong. His decision turned to anger.
At that moment Tomoka returned to herself. The wounds left by Susan never healed. He never let her heal. He just pushed all those feelings until he couldn't feel them anymore. Now that he could feel it again, it was painful. His words were painful as if he was right in front of her saying it once more.
That was when another memory entered his mind. This one, which is much newer. It was the first time she had heard the words she wanted to hear back when she confided in Susan.
"I love you." These three words, spoken by two girls he knew far longer than he knew Susan. Nozomi and Hinata, these two girls have somehow reached her broken heart even through her dead emotions. Although the pain of Susan's bad words continues to haunt her, Hinata and Nozomi's words continue to soothe the pain.
"I want to love them." That was all he could think of right now. He really wants to love them, he wants to be able to love them again. That was why he looked at the corps in front of him with determination.
"I'll love you again." Saying this she stepped forward and hugged the corpse. When he did, it started to come back to life. Pale skin regains its color, hair shimmers and eyes have meaning.
"I'm happy." That was all that the emotion that was now healed said when it disappeared into spots of light.
It was then, like a tsunami, that all of Tomoka's depressed feelings surged. All the pain, all the love, everything hit him, it was too much. Before he lost consciousness again Tomoka glanced at the other corpses. He promised himself that he would come back and repair all the damage he had done to himself.
"For them, all this pain is worth it." That was all he could mutter before consciousness left him.
