The incident

Today was a strange day for Tomoka. Although yesterday he was excited to return to training today, he felt strange. There was an uneasy feeling telling him to do something as soon as he woke up. He ignored her as an anxious response he experienced to return to training. 

In the morning she begins her usual exercise routine after breakfast. However, that strange feeling did not want to go away. Instead it grows stronger by the second. It felt like he had forgotten something important but for his life he could not remember what. 

Finally he decided to take a walk. Today was one of those very rare days when she was left alone. His mother went on a mission yesterday. His father on the other hand had been called out for whatever reason. 

As he walked alone on the streets, that strange feeling would diminish and strengthen randomly. Sometimes he would turn randomly until suddenly the feeling lit up with a vengeance. Other times it would diminish until he could barely feel it. 

This continued until he reached the crossroads where no matter which direction he chose, the feeling would flare up. Right or left, equally wrong as forward or backward. Maybe down? A stupid question that leads to the same thing, is wrong. Then ride. 

As he looked up, time slowed down. He saw a ninja jumping right over his head. That in itself is not strange, the strange thing is the fact that the ninja was not from Konoha. Even stranger, the ninja was carrying a bag that made the strange feeling flare up like never before. 

Without wasting any time, Tomoka ran into an alley before jumping onto the roof. His instincts screamed to hold back the ninja he had just seen. Following his instincts, Tomoka pursues the ninja as his rational mind seeks to understand what is going on. 

'Ignoring that strange feeling, the important thing now was to understand the situation. From what I see, the ninja in front of me is probably from Kumogakure, taking into account its color scheme. 

The second is the direction we run to and from. Again, ignoring the change in direction and considering the overall direction it seems we are moving towards the southern wall right opposite it is the Hyuga clan.

Waita minute! Kumogakure is involved with the Hyuga clan? Now I remember! This might be the Hyuga incident, meaning that the one in the bag was most likely Hinata!' 

“air release: Lower wind resistance” 

As the jutsu took effect, the chakra clouds released from Tomoka's body formed bubbles around him. This chakra bubble serves to drastically reduce wind resistance around Tomoka allowing him to increase speed easily. 

In an instant Tomoka gained a speed similar to a jounin level ninja. The only problem was the drastic pressure on his body and chakra. Maintaining this speed for more than five minutes was impossible for him, but right now it was enough. 

In an instant he managed to close the distance towards kumo-nin. Unfortunately and as expected his opponent sensed he was releasing a barrage of shuriken towards him. Tomoka grimaced, she wanted to shorten the distance before using the next card. 

Seeing no other choice, he took action. His hand was weaving a new seal as he prepared the experimental jutsu he was working on. The inspiration for this jutsu was the third and fourth raikage lightning armor. Unfortunately for him, remaking that jutsu was far from difficult. What he would use was an incomplete version, with a bad counterattack. 

“lightning release: Lightning rush” 

In an instant Tomoka felt like he was struck by lightning as his muscles spasm as a huge flow of electricity flowed throughout his body. This was a counterattack that he could not fix yet. Ignoring his pain, Tomoka rushed forward leaving behind an electric trail. 

In a split second, that was all he needed to close the thirty-meter distance between himself and the kumo ninja. Taking advantage of the insane inertia his body was experiencing, he punched his opponent's stomach as he had yet to turn around after throwing his secret weapon. 

 "Because of you!"
