Hyuga is shy

Moments later everyone says their part and leaves Tomoka alone. The doctor had said that he should stay there just in case. Nagi had scolded him after hugging him. Tomoka was left alone to do anything.  

'It was so tiring, I thought I'd go back to sleep' 

[I don't think you'll get it, look] 

At the door of his room stood a serious-looking man. At his side, a beautiful and frail-looking woman carried a child no older than Tomoka in her arms. The three of them had one thing that made Tomoka instantly recognize them, or rather, their clan. Their irises are purplish white without pupils. 

“Salam, my name is Hiashi Hyuga. Thank you for saving my daughter” The serious-faced man bowed slightly to Tomoka. However, his actions looked stiff and forced. Looking closely Tomoka could tell the reason. The woman next to Hiashi had a no-nonsense aura about her.  

"I'm Himari Hyuga, thank you for saving little Hinata" Like her husband, Himari thanked me and bowed small. However, unlike her husband, her actions were smooth and sincere. 

"A-I um, I'm Hinata Hyuga, t-thank you for saving me" Like her parents, Hinata bowed towards Tomoka, unlike them even though her bow was deep enough. 

Unable to control himself after seeing the overflowing cuteness flowing from Hinata, Tomoka stood on her bed and approached the shy boy. A moment later he patted Hinata on the head with a gentle smile. 

"It's okay, I did what I felt was right" Now that Tomoka had managed to calm down all the inner turmoil she felt, she was glad she did what she did. 

"That's it, you're hurt by a-me" Hinata's cheeks flushed a little in embarrassment. He feels responsible for Tomoka's injuries, even though he doesn't see them. Hinata believes Tomoka is injured, otherwise why would she have to be in the hospital?

"It's nothing, I'm fine, see?" Saying that, Tomoka jumped from the bed onto the cold floor. Jumping a few times while moving her hands, Tomoka tried her best to prove to Hinata that she was fine. 

Seeing Hinata acting like it woke up Tomoka's mischievous side so she decided to play around with Hinata a little for fun. Several plans floated in his mind before setting one that he was sure would be a lot of fun. 

“You know, this situation reminds me of that fairy tale. A knight in armor saved the princess. Usually the princess rewards the knight with a kiss on the cheek ”Saying that Tomoka put a finger on her cheek as if thinking while half turning. 

Looking at Hinata from the corner of her eyes, Tomoka saw how her cheeks were reddened as she started to stutter. Little chuckle he decided to continue teasing the poor girl. Tomoka is having too much fun right now. 

"Oh, in some of them they will even get married and have a happy family together" With that Hinata became so red that she looked like a ripe tomato and Tomoka swore she saw steam coming out of her face.  

“Oh well, it's just a fairy tale, how about we just be friends?!” Tomoka was already content to tinker with Hinata, so she decided to give the poor girl a break. In reality, he did want to be friends with Hinata. The girl was sweet and kind, Tomoka could not think of any reason not to be her friend.

"Friends?" Hinata asked and Tomoka saw a hint of disappointment from the girl. However, it came and went so fast that he thought it was just his imagination. 

“You really want to be my friend?” Hinata has trouble believing that Tomoka wants to be her friend. She felt unable to compare to Tomoka so she felt Tomoka did not want someone like her to be her friend. 

“Yes, I don't actually have many friends so I'd be happy if you became my friend” Even though Tomoka looks confident and supple, she's nervous and afraid of being rejected. Having Nozomi has helped a lot with her social skills and social nervousness, but that doesn't mean she hasn't fully healed yet. 

"Then, a-ayo was friends" Saying that with an embarrassed nod Hinata felt very happy. He finally made his first friend.
