"Hue hue hue, please perception scroll" Behind the cardboard screen one could see Tomoka smiling sinisterly. On the map he held many marc that laid many traps that he had planned. Now the party of wanting to be a hero has stepped into one. 

"Uhg, seven" "Twelve for me" "I got n-nat twenty" "fifteen for YOUNG!" 

Tomoka's smile grew wider as she looked at her victim. He had warned them, he had told them that they were not ready. Now that they would pay the price for their arrogance, their arrogance had brought them to the end.

“Naruto, Nozomi, the two of you are unaware that the trap was triggered, you received full damage at 1d8 from the poison damage from the poison arrow that gushed through the corridor. Hinata, Lee please give me dex save” 

All according to plan, he would not directly kill them. No, he would weaken them little by little. Like a trap set in a casino, he would lure them with small wins here and there. Little did they know that they would lose everything because they would all die.

"T-twelve" "Eight" 

“Alright, Lee you tried to evade but failed and received 1d8 poison damage as well. Hinata, you managed to avoid most of the arrows but that was not enough, you received 1d4 poison damage” Groans followed as they all started to despair. 

Their characters have lost most of their health now. Hinata's character is the only survivor of death as her luck today is incredible. There were no potions left or spell slots to heal their approaching end as Tomoka burst into laughter.  

“When you try to catch your breath after a trap, you hear a sound. It is said, “Poor lost souls in despair, I goddess of opportunity hope for your success. However, sacrifices must be made. In return for the safe return of your friend, one of you must die. Choose who will be the unlucky person”  

After that, chaos ensued. Everyone wants to sacrifice themselves to save others. The discussion continued for a while until Hinata spoke with a rare sense of confidence.

“I will not accept anyone who sacrifices themselves. We are a team and we will all find a way out! What if this is the real world? Would you let a friend die like that? I'm sure it won't. No useless goddess will die today” 

“I see your determination and it has moved me, but the sacrifice still has to be made. Perhaps instead of a magic item life could be done. Sacrifice what you got in this dungeon and your freedom will be achieved.”

With a nod, everyone returned the equipment they got to Tomoka, so he let them go. Back outside the basement, everyone decided to rest and recharge. Their next adventure will have to wait.

"Kids are down Dinner is ready!" With that everyone let out a disappointed breath. The campaign has been going on for over a month and it is gold. Seeing Naruto die over and over again is just comedy gold. At least his hasty decision-making improved after the third death.  

“Tomoka, that's not fair! We lost a lot of gold due to potions and did not get anything in return!” Nozomi started complaining as they ate. 

“Hey, not my fault. I told you all that you weren't ready. I don't even hide it behind clever words or anything. I said and I quoted "You'll get your ass handed to you on a silver platter" it's not my fault you didn't listen to "Tomoka cross his arms while looking at the others. 

“Yes, but you can be easier than us. At least you can let us save some loot to replace the missing potion." Naruto pouted, crossing his own hands. 

"Well, dear Naruto. Your Enemy will never be easy on you. Be thankful I don't TPK you anymore.” Tomoka said as she looked at everyone. 

It's true that Tomoka did TPK on them. It happened when a group of four level three tried to challenge a level eleven mage. Mind you they have no real reason to attack the man. He is evil, and yes he must die. They were meant to try and kill him through other methods aside from direct confrontation.  

"However. Are you all excited for tomorrow? Himiko decided to change the topic. He once tried to get in on the fun but was quickly banned from playing because his adult mind as well as problem-solving knowledge caused the game to become boring for other kids.

“True, Tomorrow you will start the correct ninja training in the academy! You'll finally show them YOUR FUTURE! Everyone was excited except Tomoka. He knew they would all be disappointed.
