The Passion of the Segara

The Passion of the Segara
Eps. #29 Convinced But Doubtful

Genta rubbed his eyes several times, trying to convince his vision. He still could not believe who was in front of him at that moment.

"Boss Arkha, is that it? is it just a coincidence?" her mind kept asking. Unknowingly he stood at his original place, in his neutrality Segara so similar to his former boss who had been rumored to have died a year.

"Hey what's the matter, sir? why are you there?" Segara who saw Genta was silent there asked and approached him.

No answer could come out of Genta's mouth, he only looked at Segara from the tip of his hair to the tip of his feet as Segara stood very close to him, unblinking and curiously filling his soul.

Feeling Genta's gaze so different towards him, Segara could only link his eyebrows together while shaking his head softly.

"Is there anything strange in me, sir? why are you staring at me like that?" asked Segara to Genta who was still silent and kept looking at him. Segara also looked at himself to the tip of his feet to guess what was wrong from him at that time.

"Sir!" Segara patted Genta's frozen shoulder there.

"A.a.a yes, Bang!" Genta stuttered as Segara patted his shoulders hard enough to shock him from his daydream.

"From now on I've noticed you're dumb here, and why look at me like that?" asked Segara who was also confused to respond to Genta's behavior towards him.

"You don't know who I am?" asked Genta curiously, if Segara was Arkha, he would easily recognize him.

"You're on this island for the first time, how do I know you?" replied Segara was a little surprised by the question Genta who seemed to have known him before.

"You look a lot like my boss who died a year ago from an accident at sea!" genta said tell a story.

Segara immediately turned his face to hear the story of Genta, his forehead wrinkled, his memory arrived back to the moment where Imran found and helped him when he was drifting in the middle of the sea.

"A year you want? an accident at sea?" that question now filled Segara's head.

"I've also been on this island for a year, and you also found me in the middle of the sea, do I have anything to do with this man's story?" batin Segara asked again.

"My boss is Arkha, he's a very rich man, he has a big company and also a very beautiful wife. But alas, his fate was truly unlucky, as he had to die a tragic death in a ship accident!" Genta continued to tell stories.

Segara was silent for a moment, "definitely not the me he meant, the boss is dead not lost!" his sane mind instantly diverted.

"Pity you, sir! the fate of a person is indeed no one can guess, all is the death of destiny!" segara replied to Genta's story.

"Ohya, Bang! you're very good at machines, learn where, Bang? I really did not expect, in a remote village like this there is a person as great as you who can handle the ship's engine." asked Genta trying to extract other information about Segara himself.

Actually, in the depths of Genta's heart, he was very suspicious of Segara, there was a belief in his mind that Segara was Arkha, because from the beginning only he was the least confident of Arkha's death and he had confidence that Arkha was actually still alive. Plus Segara is so skilled in handling ship engines. To his knowledge, in addition to his best friend Rendy, Arkha was also very good at it.

"No, sir! as soon as I saw the machine I wanted to push it!" sahut Segara without suspicion again.

"Don't call me, sir, Bang! my name is Genta, just call it that, I'm not your boss and I'm not your father either!" urai Genta casually tried to get along with Segara.

"And don't call me brother too! when did you become my sister?" sulkul Segara while chuckling.

Somehow the two of them were so quick to feel familiar as if their introduction had already happened long before that day.

Both of them sat on a bench not far from the beach.

"You drink what, Bang!" greet the Pearls as they sit and start chatting there.

"White water only, Ra!" sahut Segara and Mutiara rushed back into his stall to prepare two glasses of water for Genta and also her husband.

"Your wife is beautiful, Segara? he is also friendly and kind!" praise Genta after Pearl finished serving drinks to them.

"Yes, she is indeed very beautiful and considerate, I am lucky to have a wife like her, and I love her very much too!" segara replied in praise of his wife.

"How long have you been married?" ask Genta again.

"I've known her for a year since I was stranded on this island, but we've only been married for about nine months!"

"Slapped?" Genta was very surprised to hear Segara's words.

"Ah I mean after I arrived in this village!" segara quickly denied Genta's question. Without him noticing, he had already slipped while telling a story.

"I used to live on the opposite island and I came here to find work!" kilah Segara's.

From the first he did tell everyone that he was still a distant relative of Imran and Pearl, no one knows that actually Mr. Imran found it in the middle of the sea.

Genta only nodded his head, but in his heart he grew suspicious that Segara was actually Arkha.

"Boss, we must return to the city immediately, otherwise our fish will be damaged and Boss Alfin will definitely be very angry at us!"

From far away Johan shouted to Genta while stepping quickly to Segara and Genta who were still sitting there talking.

"Country, I must return to the city immediately, once again I thank you very much for your help. One day I'll stop by this island again!" Genta stood up from his seat as he extended his hand to shake Segara's hand.

"All right, I hope you're safe at your destination!" Segara waved his hand as Genta and Johan had already stepped towards their ship.

Shortly after, the ship was back on its way to sea waves. Genta was still standing on the deck of the ship staring at the remote island until it looked so small in his eyes, curiosity still filled his head.

"Why am I so sure that Segara is Arkha's boss, but how do I prove it?"

"The state doesn't recognize me either, does she lose her memory?"

Questions filled his mind.

"I have to investigate!" muttered.

Segara was still silent in his seat, at first glance he also felt that there was something unusual in his mind after meeting Genta. Genta's story about his boss who died in a ship accident made him feel depressed, for some reason Genta's story was like it had ever been experienced.

Segara pressed his forehead, suddenly his head hurt, then he took a breath in trying to calm himself to reduce the headache that returned to attack him.
