Eps. #56 Who Has Returned

Arkha stared intently at everyone who was gathering there. Arkha's gaze immediately made the employees return to their respective work desks and felt very awkward. Previously Arkha was very respected by all of his employees that no one dared to play while still working hours.

Arkha looked around, looked at all the areas of his office and turned to one by one his employees who had returned to their desks. In his net all still looked the same, no change was too noticeable after more than a year of the office he left, all still in the same position.

Seeing Arkha's gaze, the employees who were there at that moment instantly lowered their faces no one dared to return Arkha's gaze. Between believing and not believing that Arkha was still alive, they must have been very surprised to see Arkha had returned to the office.

"Hey.., why are you looking at me like you're seeing a ghost!" arkha shouted to all of her employees.

"Now that you know that Arkha is not dead, Arkha is alive, and from today on, I will return to lead this company!" continue with a firm voice.

'If anyone doesn't like me coming back and wants Alfin to run this company, I'm willing to leave here. I don't like the presence of traitors here!" arkha snapped while still showing the look of her demonic eyes and for a moment made a silent atmosphere there.

"We're so glad you're back, boss! during this time we worked under the pressure of Mr. Alfin, many of our rights as employees that we did not get!" an employee who has a position as a supervisor. Although he was shrivelled at Arkha's gaze, but the employee knew that behind Arkha's assertiveness, he was a very wise leader and always cared about the welfare of all his employees.

"Yes, Boss! we are all very happy if you are leading this company, all this time Mr. Alfin has never listened to our complaints, Mr. Alfin always arbitrarily treats us!" shouted another employee had begun to dare to chimed in.

Arkha smiled faintly and nodded his head, knowing that all his employees were still on his side even though the company had been taken over by Alfin.

"Rendy, call all the division heads, I'll meet with them right now!" arkha orders Rendy while walking towards the meeting room in the office.

"Ready, Boss!" quick-witted Rendy, hurried to carry out the task that Arkha had ordered to her.

In the sudden meeting, all the division heads were very happy that Arkha had returned. They believe that the company's declining proforma will be restored again after Arkha who leads again there.

At the same time in a classy cafe, Livina was busy chatting with her social media friends. They sounded busy discussing his road plan abroad.

"Elo is delicious, Vin. Can vacation anywhere, no need to wait for giving money from the husband." said one of his friends.

"Yes, the legacy of her late first husband is many, can live well up to seven derivatives tuh," said another friend

Livina just flicked her lips to hear the words of her friend, in her heart she felt annoyed, because in reality she herself could not enjoy all the inheritance from Arkha, while Alfin was not good at managing his company.

A man appeared to rush over to the group of several socialite women and approached Livina.

"What are you doing here!" livina half-whispered to the man who was none other than one of Alfin's assistant confidants. He was very surprised because it was not usual for Alfin's assistant to meet him.

"Sorry yes, Guys! I'll stay a minute!" he said to his friend while following the quick steps of his assistant. They then sat on a sofa in the open air area of the cafe which was located a little far from the seat of his friend.

"What's the matter with you when you see me, and why does your face look so panicked, Doni?" livina asked to show a sour face because the assistant named Doni had disturbed her pleasure with her friend.

"There's bad news, ma'am. Mr. Alfin was arrested by the police!" said Doni without trying to hide anything from Livina.

"What?" Livina immediately gasped in shock at the news delivered by Doni.

"Where could Alfin have been arrested by the police? what mistake did he make?" livina asked in shock.

"Does the Madam know that Mr Arkha is alive?"

"Arkha is alive, is he?" Livina further rounded her eyes.

"Yes Madam. It was Mr. Arkha who had arrested Mr. Alfin and reported him to the police on charges of attempted murder!" said Doni with a bowed face he knew that Livina would be very surprised to hear what she told him. Doni then recounts all the events in Arkha's office until Alfin is arrested by the police and put in a holding cell.

Livina took a deep breath, she became very disappointed with Alfin who was not completely honest with her. Livina really loves Alfin and has always supported whatever Alfin has planned, but he never knew that the accident on the Arkha ship at that time was all engineered by Alfin and the body he buried and recognized as Arkha was also a lie masterminded by Alfines.

"Alfin, why did you lie to me all this time, Al? I'm so disappointed in you, Al!" his grunts with his glassy eyes held all his emotions and sense of disappointment.

"I'm sorry, Madam. I need to get out of here. I'm afraid the police also suspect I'm cooperating with Mr. Alfin!" said Doni as he walked quickly away from Livina.

Livina was pecking at her seat. Everything Doni told made him feel anxious and scared. She could already guess that Arkha would definitely hate her so much after finding out she was married to Alfin.

"Arkha is still alive, which means he will also accuse me of conspiring with Alfin. He will definitely imprison me too!" livina murmured in her heart, there was a sense of worry when Alfin told Arkha of their secret relationship when she was still Arkha's legal wife.

"No, I'm not gonna let the cops catch me!" Livina was increasingly worried and confused by the situation she was facing.

Livina stood up from her seat and paced back and forth, fidgeting herself at that spot. While occasionally pressing his forehead he tried to think of a way to deal with Arkha.

"Arkha.., she loves me so much, I'll make her come back to me. I don't want to lose all of his wealth. And Ardila, I will make it a tool to make Arkha believe me" he muttered again with a sly smile.

Without telling her friends, Livina left the cafe and quickly drove back home.
