Genta's eyes dimmed, while his eyes closed and only his breath sounded soft.
"Over the story, Boss," he said.
"When I visited Pearl in the fishing village, I intended to bring Pearl with me to this city to meet you, Boss. But unfortunately on the way, our ship was hit by a tsunami. We were carried away by the current until we were stranded in a village, fortunately we survived and we were accommodated in a refugee camp with other disaster victims" said Genta.
"Bringing Pearls to this city?" Arkha widened his eyes.
"What's your purpose in bringing pearls here? at that time, I told you many times that I would pick him up!" decak Arkha stared intently at the eyes of Sayu Genta. Arkha was riled up from feeling Genta had disobeyed his orders back then.
"Patience, calm down, boss. Let Genta finish the story first!" sergeant Rendy mediates.
"The pearl already knows that the man who lost his memory and he knows his name Segara is Arkha, that is you, Boss! That's why I meant to bring him here. And had Pearl not come with me at that time, it might have been the same fate as Mr. Imran, Boss," said Genta.
"So, did the Pearl know that my memory had returned?"
"Yes, Boss. I was forced to tell Pearl everything" replied Genta honestly.
For a moment Arkha was silent, he did not know whether to be angry or just thank Genta who had told him about his identity to Pearl. Angry is useless, because everything has happened. However, on the other hand for that reason precisely Genta can bring Pearl along with him so that Pearl can survive the disaster of that time.
"Sir Imran? What about you, Genta?" Arkha remembered his father-in-law who was still living in his village at that time.
"Pak Imran is gone, boss. The village he lived in had already drowned because of the disaster!"
Arkha rubbed his face slowly, he realized that his father-in-law was not safe and had died as a victim of disaster.
"You and Pearl survived, but why didn't you tell me? Where are you guys, and what's been going on for these three years, Genta?"
Arkha's head was filled with millions of questions, those words just slid from his mouth.
Genta let out a weak snort, Arkha's question flung out to him, leaving him at a loss where to start telling Arkha everything.
In a very slow and weak voice, Genta finally told how Pearl refused to return to the city with him and chose to stay in the village.
"Pearl, why do you doubt me like that, don't you know how much I love you and how much I suffer when I know you're gone? This Arkha is still your Segara, Pearl!" Arkha muttered as he rubbed his chest, without being able to hold back the tears dripping down his cheeks after hearing Genta's story.
"My men have combed the relocation village many times, Genta. But why don't they know about your whereabouts?" peekkik Rendy's. He doubted Genta's story, because his men had already searched for him in the village. However, never got any information about them there.
"Over this time we changed our identity, Rendy. The people there know my name is Tirta and Mutiara is my wife" Genta said.
Rendy just nodded in understanding, "we just can't find you guys, apparently you're changing identities" he said.
"For what to change such an identity, Genta?" Arkha again clucked in annoyance, the reason Genta did not match his logic.
"I have no choice but to let people think I'm dead, boss. Do you remember? the ship that brought me to the island was your company ship that was still controlled by Mr Alfin? After knowing that the ship was hit by a tsunami, surely Mr. Alfin will look for me. Meanwhile, at that time I could not dwell in the evacuation, if he did anything to me, what about the Pearl, Boss? Who can protect him there?" Genta began to be able to raise his tone.
"But why should I claim to be Mutiara's husband, Genta?" arkha growled again unable to understand Genta's reason.
"I don't want any slanted talk about Pearls there, Boss. Because Pearl was pregnant at the time, I was forced to claim to be her husband" said Genta.
"What's? pregnant?" Arkha again rounded his eyes.
"Yes, Boss. At that time the Middle Pearl contained your seed, which is why I would love to bring her to this city and meet you, so that you know that she will soon give birth to your flesh and blood, Boss!" bright Genta with his voice that started flat.
Arkha raised one end of his lips and snorted in annoyance, he looked back at Genta's eyes.
"Three years you lived with him in that village, Genta. Don't you have any intention of telling me about the Pearl? You even purposely hid a secret this big from me!" snapped Arkha.
"Ma - I'm sorry, Boss!" sahut Genta.
"In addition to the fact that Pearl refused me to take me to this city, I.e., I also do not want him to meet you, Boss," he added in a stamped voice.
"What's the matter, Genta? what's wrong with you guys?" Arkha shook his head and smiled sinisterly.
"Sa - me.., I'm in love with Pearl, Boss!" I'm Genta honestly.
"What did you say, Genta? You're in love with my wife?" furious Arkha.
Hearing Genta's honest confession, Arkha grew increasingly emotional, as she got up from her seat and showed her clenched hand firmly in front of Genta's face.
Genta could only close his eyes in response to Arkha's anger. Because, he was unable to move from his position at that time.
"You should have brought the Pearl back to me, Genta. But why did you fall in love with him? go too far, Genta!" arkha's pointing full of anger.
"Silence, Boss! don't get carried away by emotions. The clapper is still very weak, free you scold him. He hasn't finished his story!" screeched Rendy while pulling Arkha's shoulder so that she would return to her seat.
After Arkha sat back in his chair, Genta rolled his eyes turned towards Arkha who was still looking annoyed, Genta looked at Arkha with a meaningful look.
"Pearl can never love me, Boss. Cinta Mutiara belongs only to Segara, an ordinary man who once lived with her in the village," said Genta in a soft voice. However, there is an emotion implied by his words.
"The pearl only loves a simple man she knows named Segara. It wasn't me, nor was it Arkha, the man who for her was a very ambitious man and could lie to her just to keep her wealth," clang Genta with his mouth that began to tremble held something rumbling inside his chest.
"Uhhukk.., uhhukk!" so emotionally, Genta felt his voice choking and his throat choking.
"Drink first, Genta!" respond to Rendy while taking a glass filled with water on the table next to her bed and helping Genta to drink it.
Arkha fell silent and lowered his head, slowly rubbing his head, again there were tears drenching his cheeks. Various feelings churned, shaking his heart. Regret now rippled in his soul.
"I never want to lie to you, Pearl. The circumstances that forced me to be dishonest towards you back then," Arkha murmured while massaging her forehead deeply regretted.
"Then what about my son, Genta? Pearls must have given birth to our baby, right?" cecar Arkha again.
"Already, Boss," said Genta.
"Your son is over two and a half years old now, he is very handsome and very similar to you" Genta said.
"That means my son, what's his name, Genta?" As she remembered her son, Arkha began to control her anger, there was a happy slip in the recesses of her heart.
"His name is Baruna, Boss," Genta replied in a voice that had weakened again.
"Baruna?" Arkha jerks.
"Yes, Boss. And the Pearl with its new identity is now named Ara" Genta continued.
"Pregnant?" For the umpteenth time, the story of Genta made Arkha so surprised.
"Baruna and Ara, were they the ones who were taking care of Mama all this time in the hospital?" Arkha.
"Are they in town now, Genta?" arkha asked very curious.
Genta just let out a long breath.
"I don't know for sure, Boss. Before my crew kept me in a cargo container, I once asked Pearl to follow me to this city. I'm now so worried, what if they really catch up with me to this town while I'm not around? Pearl did not even know this city at all," complained Genta, there was a sense of anxiety and regret that was difficult to explain at that time.
"What, Genta? Can you let Pearl into this town by yourself?" Arkha shook his head, eager for him to cuss angrily at Genta. However, he also worried about the Pearl in the city.
"But I've left Pearls on my friend Mardi, Boss. If only the captivity drama had not happened, Pearl would have been safe in this city with me" said Genta.
"Rendy, please call Mardi for me, he must know where the Pearl is right now," Pinta Genta turned to look at Rendy who had just been silent on what she was saying.
"What's the number, Genta?" Rendy grabs her phone and starts dialing the number mentioned by Genta.
For a few minutes, Genta sounded very serious when talking over the phone with Mardi.
"Pearl and Baruna are in this town, Boss," Genta said after hanging up on the phone with Mardi.
Arkha sighed deeply after hearing Genta's remarks.
"My guess is correct.., Sister Ara, Mama's personal nurse is Pearl, and her son Baruna is my son, my flesh and blood! It was fitting that there was a different feeling I felt when I met the little boy. And Mama.., no wonder Mama was so close to Baruna, we were bound by blood," Arkha grumbled with tears that returned to drip unasked at the end of her eyes.
"Have you ever met them, Boss?" tanya Genta was curious to hear Arkha's words.
"Yes, Genta. I've met my son, but I haven't met Pearl" Arkha said regretfully.
"Oh, God! It turned out that they had been so close to me all this time, but why didn't I realize it at all?"
"Arghhh..., stupid me!" Arkha's regret deepened.
"Hopefully they are fine in this city, and Mama is also with Pearl now, I'm sure Pearl can take good care of her," Arkha hoped.
"Rendy, we need to find them now. They're in town, I'm pretty sure we'll find it easier."
There is a smile now adorning Arkha's face, his hope will meet people he loves more and more open before his eyes.
"Good, Boss!" sahut Rendy sprightly.
"Livina.., I'm more and more convinced that she really had something to do with Mama's escape from that hospital, maybe Mama knew there was a secret Livina had been hiding all along."
"I'm asking you to keep an eye on Livina, Rendy! I'm getting suspicious of him" Arkha said grumpily.
"Ready, Boss!" firmly Rendy.
