In the best ICU hospital room in town, Arkha kept staring at the patient monitor screen in the room.
A man was lying weakly there with various medical devices attached to his body. It's been a week since Arkha and Rendy found him held captive in a cargo container, Genta hasn't regained consciousness. Broken spine and serious injury to the head suffered by Genta as a result of torture of his crew is quite severe, so now he is in a coma.
"When will you realize, Genta? Hurry up and tell me where the Pearl is" Arkha said softly, holding Genta's cold hand and no reaction.
There was disappointment implied on Arkha's face. Along with the discovery of Genta, since then he also knows that Pearl is still alive. However, until then he had not yet obtained information about the existence of Pearls.
Arkha rubbed his face slowly, "Where else should I look for Pearls?" muttered.
Although Arkha has made various efforts to find Pearls, but until then his efforts have not found results, it is increasingly difficult for him to find the information he seeks.
"Do I have to report to the police? it seems impossible! the police won't believe it. Pearl and Mr. Imran were declared dead when the tsunami struck," Arkha's mind contradicted, then he turned his head slowly.
Slowly Arkha got up from his seat and stood up while looking back at Genta's immobile body.
"Genta, right now you're the only one who knows where Pearl is. You're my only hope, and may you come to your senses soon, Genta." Arkha turned his face and stepped out of the ICU room.
In the waiting room chair in front of the room looked like Rendy was sitting waiting for her.
"How, Boss. Is there any change with the condition of the Genta?" asked Rendy when she saw Arkha bowed lethargic as he exited the room.
Back Arkha just shook his head, "no change, Rendy. Genta is still showing no signs of awakening from his coma" Arkha said.
"Then do you have any other information from your men, did you get any good news about Pearl?" cynical Arkha while staring intently at Rendy.
"I'm sorry, Boss. To this day, all my men are still searching. They have also combed all the islands and fishing villages in the southern region, but until now there has been no information about the whereabouts of Miss Mutiara," said Rendy. Seeing the look of Arkha's eyes that were full of disappointment towards his performance this time, making Rendy feel afraid to meet face to face with his boss.
"Forward search, Rendy. I don't want to hear what your reason is! either way, you'll have to find the Pearl. If you need to, get to the end of the world even if you have to keep looking for it!" Arkha confirmed his orders.
"Okay, boss," said Rendy sprightly. Although he himself was confused about how to find Pearls, but Arkha's orders must still be executed.
"Now come on, we have to get back to the office!" Akha stepped out of the hospital in disappointment that still filled his heart and Rendy also remained faithful to follow him.
Rendy stepped on the gas pedal of the car deeper, the car that brought them back to his office is now speeding on the highway in the city.
Arkha sat in the front passenger seat next to Rendy while staring blankly at the windshield of her car. During the journey not a word was spoken between them. No jokes, no wetting of work, even Arkha who likes to scold Rendy because his driving style that sometimes damage was not heard at that time. Very different from usual, that day the two were silent, Rendy was afraid to start the conversation when she saw the aura of disappointment clearly drawn on Arkha's face.
Triiin...!
Triiin...!
The ringing sound of the cell phone broke the silence between them. Arkha reached into his suit pocket and picked up his vibrating phone inside that pocket.
"Hallo," Arkha immediately received an incoming call on his phone. It sounded like Arkha was seriously talking to someone who was calling her.
"Rendy, we turn around. I want to go to Mama's treatment pavilion!" arkha orders Rendy to take her to the mental hospital where Mama Yuna is being treated.
"Do we have to go there today, boss?" Rendy protest.
"You don't forget, right, if it's four in the afternoon we have an important meeting with the exporters?" added Rendy reminded Arkha's work agenda.
"There's still two hours left, Rendy. There is still time to see Mama first, after all this week I have not had time to visit Mama in the hospital," Arkha said as she glanced at the clock that circled her right hand. Arkha was still reviewing a smile after hearing information from the hospital chief who said that Mama Yuna's condition was currently getting better.
"Alright, Boss. But remember, you can't linger there, our free time is just a minute." Rendy repeated reminding Arkha of his schedule that was quite solid that day.
Rendy again stepped on the gas pedal deeper, so the car was now speeding towards the mental hospital where Mama Yuna was treated.
Arriving there, Arkha immediately stepped foot quickly towards the special pavilion where Mama Yuna was treated.
"Welcome, sir," said a doctor who was on standby to welcome him at the door of the pavilion. Two sisters were also there accompanying the doctor.
"How's my Mom, Doctor?" arkha asked hurriedly as she was impatient to see Mama Yuna.
"His condition is much better, sir. Madam Yuna is now willing to eat and take medicine regularly," the doctor replied with a happy smile.
"Goodoo. Now I'm going to see Mama." Arkha wants to come in soon to see his mother.
"But I'm sorry, Madam Yuna is currently sleeping, sir," prevent the doctor.
"No problem, I just want to see Mama for a moment" Arkha said as he accelerated his way into the pavilion and the doctor did not dare to forbid it.
Upon arriving at the living room of the pavilion, Arkha halted his steps. Back a smile spread on his lips when he saw a little boy playing alone there.
"What is this little boy who was said to have made the health condition of Mama so better?" arkha asked as she approached the little boy who was sitting on the sofa and looked so engrossed in playing alone with his favorite ship toys.
"Yes right, sir. This little boy is always called Madam Yuna with the call Kaka like your name" said the doctor.
Arkha then sat on the sofa while staring at the face of the little boy who looked a little surprised as he sat next to him.
Not understanding why, suddenly Arkha's heart beat fast when the little boy was close to him, I don't know what he was feeling, he said, it was like there was something inside the boy that instantly caused his endorphins to increase and made him want to continue commenting on the smile on his lips.
"Hallo, handsome boy, what's your name?" arkha asked as she lifted up the little boy's body and carried him into her lap.
The boy smiled fearlessly at Arkha, "my name is Una, Om," her voice sounded so innocent and funny that it made Arkha even more unable to control the unusual feeling that filled her mind back then.
"This child is called Baruna, sir. People used to call him Una" the doctor who followed him entered the room.
