Three years after the great disaster, the affected areas must still be traumatized, suffering and sadness are still felt, but life still has to go. The affected islands are now starting to improve, fishing villages around the coast have begun to show their activity again.
After the disaster, the government moved quickly in rehabilitating these areas and rebuilding all infrastructure, so that the economy there could quickly return to normal.
Residents who have lost their homes are no longer worried because the government has also relocated them and provided decent housing so they can live more peacefully there.
At the end of a residential street relocation, a woman was confused, her head turned around like looking for someone and her face looked tired because it was far enough to walk.
"YES....! where are you, son!" yelled the woman.
"Malgene....!"
"Baruna....! home, Son! I'm tired of chasing you!"
The woman kept calling out her son's name as she continued walking down the street in front of the crowded housing.
"Well, where'd the bad boy run?" grumbled the woman, now her face looks upset because it never found where her child is.
"Ara, you're looking for your son, aren't you?" greet a middle-aged woman who happened to be met by the woman.
"Yes, Mom. That kid always bothers me, and then I stay for a while he's gone from home" he said.
"Your son is hyperactive and can never be silent, Ra. Try looking up ahead, Ra. I saw her running after the cat to the beach!" said the mother while pointing to a path that leads to the beach.
"Well, thank you, ma'am." replied the woman as she rushed down the path to return to look for her son.
The woman is none other than Pearl, after the disaster she also lives in the housing, armed with her new identity as a fake husband and wife with Genta, who is, he got a relocation housing from the government and for almost three years he and Genta lived there.
Pearl continued walking down the path until she finally arrived at the beach.
"Baruna....! where are you hiding?" shouted again.
Pearl was tired enough to walk so she just stood by the beach. His eyes were fixed on the pier not far from the shoreline and Pearl smiled to see a little boy running towards him.
"Mother.., Tilta puyang's father!" the boy exclaimed with his slurred words and Pearl immediately grabbed the boy's body and carried him into his carriage.
"Where are you going, honey? I've been looking for you everywhere. You bad boy!" pearls to his little son while pinching the squeeze of his nose.
"Tilta puyang's father." The boy said the same words.
"Tirta's father is home? where is he, honey?" tanya Mutiara and her little son pointed towards the pier.
From the dock was a man who quickly followed the small boy's steps and came to Pearl.
"Bang Tirta, when will you arrive, Bang?" pearls asked the man while kissing the back of his hand.
The man was none other than Genta and during his stay on the island he changed his identity with his new name, Tirta. In the presence of her son, Pearl always shows that Genta is her husband, which is why her son called Genta with the call of Father and considered him as his biological father.
"I just arrived, Ra. That's see, the ship just left the dock!" sahut Genta pointed to a fishing boat that had just left the dock and was not too far away.
Since Mutiara insisted on not going to the city with him, Genta stayed in the village to accompany Mutiara. Initially Genta worked as a slave laborer in the village, but his pleasure sailing in the middle of the ocean brought him to work again on a fishing boat owned by a foreign company. Genta has been working on the ship for more than two years and during that time he was very rarely on the mainland, he spent more time sailing, moving from one island to another.
"Ohya Una, this is Daddy buying you a toy from the city!" continued Genta while giving a toy box to his little son Pearl named Baruna.
Baruna who was still in the Pearl sling immediately grabbed the toy, "teyimakaci, Dad!" sahutya.
"Let's go home!" take Genta, then they step off the beach towards their home.
The boy immediately ran into his house while carrying a toy bought by Genta.
"Wait a minute, I make coffee, Bang, yes" said Mutiara as she stepped towards her small shop in front of her porch.
During his stay in the village, Mutiara also opened a small shop in front of the terrace of his house, in the shop he sells snacks and groceries and other daily necessities.
Genta put his backpack on the chair and then sat on one of the other chairs on the porch.
"Please get the coffee, Bang!"
Mutiara served coffee to Genta while sitting in a chair next to Genta.
"How are you and Baruna, Ra?" genta asked as he grabbed his coffee cup and slowly blew on the still hot coffee.
"Me and Baruna are good, Bang. My own brother how he works, Bang. Is everything all right?" sahut Mutiara asked Genta. Although they live in one house, they rarely meet because Genta works more than accompany him in that house.
"All good, Ra!" sahut Genta sipping his coffee.
"From next week I won't be working on that fishing boat anymore, Ra," Genta continued.
"Well, Brother resigned, Bang?" ask Pearl wonder.
"I got a better job offer. I'll work on a bigger ship and be the captain of a ship there."
"Captain ship? seriously, Bang?"
"Yes, seriously, Ra!"
"Well, congratulations, Bang. Must be a bigger salary there?"
"Yes definitely. But I will go more often to the city with the ship, even I will also get housing facilities in the city" said Genta flat. There is a burden implied from the last sentence he delivered.
"Yes, it's okay, Bang. His name is also the risk of work" said Mutiara with a smile, for him it is a success achieved by Genta.
Genta only sighed in hearing the words Pearl.
"It's been almost three years, Ra. During that time you haven't answered my question, either" Genta said, staring at Pearl's face.
"Which question is it, Bang?" seloroh Pearls.
"Hmm..., you've forgotten about it huh, Ra?" sulk Genta with an annoyed face and a pouting smile advanced his lips.
"I'm just kidding, and I never forget, Bang" said Pearl, chuckling.
"If you don't forget, then when will you answer, Ra?" pinta Genta emphasized her desire for Pearl to immediately answer a question she had once asked Pearl.
"I'm sorry, Bang!" sahut Pearl while bowing her head.
"No need to answer, Ra!" lontar Genta cuts Pearl speech.
"I know you can never love me, Ra. Until now I also knew that your love was only for Segara!" cetus Genta with his changed face looked disappointed.
Three years of living together, make the seeds of love grow in the heart of Genta for Pearl. The freshness and simplicity of the Pearl made Genta so amazed at him, that Genta also did not want the Pearl to go to the city and meet Arkha, there was a desire to have the Pearl in Genta's mind.
However, until then Pearl has not been able to open his heart to other men, Segara is still the only man who fills his heart, especially with the presence of his son Baruna who is the flesh blood of Segara. The little boy also has a face that is very similar to Segara who always reminds Pearl of the figure of a man he knows named Segara.
