Eps. #65 At The Port

The hour hand had shown at six in the morning and by then Pearl was ready to go to the city with Mardi. Pearl has finished packing two bags containing her clothes and also the needs of Baruna during the trip later. Diapers and milk for Baruna also do not forget to prepare it in one bag for another.

The pearl had finished bathing and changed clothes, but her son was still not awake.

"Wake, Una! are we going to the city? Una wants to follow Tirta's father, right?" whispered Pearl while gently rubbing the head of Baruna who was still asleep. The little boy immediately opened his eyes and got up from his bed.

"Let's go Daddy, Mommy!" sahut Baruna while splashing into the arms of Pearl and ask to be carried.

"Yes, Honey. Let's take a shower!" bring Pearl while carrying the tiny body of Baruna to the bathroom. Baruna was so enthusiastic when Mutiara said she would take her to the city, so she complied when Mutiara took her to take a bath and change her clothes.

After more than twenty-four hours of sailing the ocean, the ship was now approaching the largest port in the city.

"The ship will soon be leaning, Ra," Mardi said. Shortly before the ship pulled over at the port, although very busy, Mardi took the time to meet Pearl.

"Later after arriving at the terminal, you go to the bus stop only, Ra. From there you will be easier to book a taxi online!" advice Mardi.

Mutiara knew that Mardi was very busy with his work after arriving at the port, so he did not want to trouble Mardi anymore. Pearls walk in the crowded area of people in the terminal while holding Baruna who was asleep at the time. At the stop there was only a man waiting for the bus.

Pearl grabbed her phone to order a taxi online, but she was immediately disappointed that her phone could not be turned on.

"Well, my phone is dead, I forgot to charge it before getting off the ship" he said, grumbling to blame himself for forgetting to charge his phone.

Pearl approached a man sitting at the stop and tried to call for help.

"Excuse me, Sir. Can I ask for help?" he asked politely to the man.

"Oh yes, Ma'am. What can I help you with?" the man said but his face looked indifferent as if there was no intention of helping him.

"Can you please order me an online taxi, my phone is off, I forgot the charge on the boat" Pearl said.

"My HP has no pulse, ma'am. If you want to charge the HP then come to the security guard post across, there is an electric plug!" said the man very indifferently while pointing towards a security post not far from the stop.

'Okay, thanks, sir!" The pearl shook his head. He knew the man didn't want to help him. He realized that life in the city was different from in a friendly village, the people of the city rarely wanted to help others, they were very indifferent to the surrounding environment.

Without thinking long Pearl then stepped his feet towards the man-appointed post earlier while continuing to tighten the body of Baruna who was still asleep in his carrier.

In front of the security post was Pearl very dumbfounded. The port area there looks quiet and quiet unlike in the terminal where it came down earlier. At first glance his eyes glanced at a large sign in the harbor and the name of a famous fish cannery company was seen there.
