Eps. #32 The Memory That's Back

Segara again pressed his forehead, his headache became more and more so. The shadows of the people in his past one by one reappeared in his memories, but only a faint trace of him could recall them.

Segara then rested his back on the edge of the top of his bed while re-arranging his breath slowly.

"What happened to me? Is my memory back?" Segara continued to massage his own head trying to reduce the pain he still felt.

He had not been able to completely convince everything that was starting to exist in his memory. Segara then returned to lay his body and tried to close his eyes.

Due to the influence of painkillers he drank, he finally fell asleep.

The day is getting noon. Sunlight had filled the room, Segara squinted his eyes that felt sore because of glare by the bright sunlight that hit his eyes.

"Abang is awake? we'll have breakfast, Bang!" pearl's soft greeting immediately made Segara aghast and immediately moved from the bed, he then sat on the edge of the bed.

Suddenly he felt dazed and he felt like he had just woken up from a very long dream.

"I where? am I dreaming?" his screams softly as he rubbed his eyes and rubbed his face rough.

"Bang, Brother why?" Mutiara was very surprised by the attitude of Segara who was like a person who was confused, then slowly he rubbed Segara's back.

"What's a nightmare, Bang?" pearl asked again, she became very worried about the state of her husband.

"Is your head still hurting?" Pearl touched Segara's forehead and saw no more blood coming out of his wound.

Segara was still only silent, Pearl question was not answered, he continued to lower his head while rubbing his hair.

Pearls sit on the edge of the bed next to Segara .

"Bang, you're okay, right?" Pearl continued to ask while holding Segara's shoulder and looking at his face that looks sad.

Segara lifted his face and looked at Pearl's face but he still did not say a word, actually there was something he really wanted to express but his heart forbade him to speak.

"I love you, Ra!" finally, only that sentence came out from the lips of his feet.

"Yes I know, Bang! I also love Brother." said Mutiara but there is a curiosity in his heart, not usually Segara behave like that to him.

"Ra, I want to ask you something." said Segara again.

"Yes what, Bang?"

"If I want to go to town and find a job there, do you want to come with me, Ra?"

"Sonly Brother has the intention of moving to the city huh, Bang?" ask Pearl wonder.

"We can't stay in this village forever, Ra. We can't grow if we just live here in the city we can learn a lot!" segara explained.

Pearls only speechless, curiosity more filled his heart because Segara is not usually talking about life in the city, all this time they live peacefully in the village. Although life is very simple, but they are very happy there.

"While I am your wife, I will always be faithful with you wherever you go, Bang!" sahut Plain pearls.

"Thank you, Ra! I love you so much and I don't want to lose you, baby!" Segara rubbed the head of the Pearl and brought it into his arms. Segara stroked Pearl's hair while peeping his forehead, there was a feeling that he really could not express at that time.

"We eat yuk, Bang! I've cooked fried rice for us to eat breakfast," Mutiara's invitation to wake Segara from his daydream.

Segara only nodded in acceptance of Pearl's invitation while releasing his embrace. The two then went to the dining table where Imran was waiting for them there.

"It's better, sir!" sahut Segara sat in the chair next to Imran.

"I'm going to the shop, sir! I haven't had time to clear the stall after last night." Mutiara told Imran, shortly after they finished their breakfast.

"I'll go with you, Ra!" Segara.

Imran just nodded then Pearl and Segara kissed his hands alternately, both of them then came out of the house to the stall.

Arriving at the stall, Pearl was immediately preoccupied with her kitchen equipment which was very messy due to the incident last night.

Segara sat on the last bench in the stall while looking at the expanse of the ocean in front of him. His mind looked far away, after his head was hit hard on the stone this morning, he realized that slowly his memory had returned.

"I'm not Segara, my name is Arkha! Arkha Waradana," he murmured.

"I've been stranded on this island for a year, and no one's been looking for me, they've assumed I'm dead!"

Segara then laid his body on a folding mattress on the floor of the room. His head was getting sicker, unbearable.
