"Our results were good today, sir! and this morning we can go back to land early."
Segara's smile expands as he and Imran have just returned from the sea.
"You are indeed the bearer of good fortune, Gara. Since you've been here with your father at sea, our catch has always been abundant!" suhut Imran also with a happy smile on his face.
That morning they came back from the sea much earlier than usual, they were very satisfied because the catch was quite a lot that night.
The atmosphere was still very dark when Imran and Segara pulled over his boat near the dock.
"Which pearl, sir? tumben he hasn't come yet." Segara turned to the right and left looking for the whereabouts of his wife who usually always came early before they leaned his boat on the dock.
"It's still too early, Gara. Maybe he's still sleeping" said Imran.
The two then returned busy lowering all their catches and took them to the market to wait for the suppliers who would come there to buy their fish.
Segara seems restless because so far Pearl has not come to the market.
"It's not usually Pearl hasn't been here, she should have been up from earlier, why hasn't she showed up this morning?" fret Segara in heart.
"Sir, I'm going to the stall for a second! Pearl slept there last night, I want to see if she hasn't woken up yet!" segara.
For some reason arrived he felt a strange premonition because not usually Pearl had not reached the market at that hour.
Segara walked quickly towards his stall, he was surprised to see it was so dark, not a single light was lit there.
"Is the pearl still sleeping? don't let him get sick, yesterday he had time to complain of dizziness." he murmured.
Segara walked closer to the stall and how shocked he was when he saw the door of the stall open, Segara immediately entered, but he did not find Pearl there. Segara felt the walls of the room to look for a light switch and then turned it on.
"Pearl..., honey..., where are you, Ra?" Segara called - called his wife and kept looking for her to all corners of the stall.
Segara let out a flat sigh, The pearls are not there.
"Hm... Where did the pearl go so early, did she come home? but why is the door not closed? he's not usually this reckless!" groused Segara with his face that changed was was was.
Segara was surprised when he headed to the kitchen and found some equipment there was very messy, pots and spoons scattered on the floor and there were broken glass also seen there. On the stove there is a noodle that is half cooked but has not been lifted from the pot, the kitchen condition is very messy. Segara's thoughts were increasingly unsettled, he was worried that something might happen to his wife.
"What's going on, why are all the kitchen tools falling apart?" Segara did not think.
"I'll catch up to the house, maybe Pearl came home last night!" mumbling again.
Segara then ran towards his home, arriving there Segara back down languid. Pearl was not there, even the house was still locked with the same condition as when he left yesterday afternoon when he was going to go to sea.
"Where are you pearls, baby?"
Segara was sitting on the chair on the porch of his house, his gaze was pushy, worry filled his soul, he was very afraid of something happening with his wife but he also did not know where to look.
Segara turned to look at the path in front of his house and saw Lis who also just came out of his house who was going to the market.
"Sir Lis! You see my wife?" Segara immediately got up from his seat and asked Lis who was walking in a hurry to the dock.
"Well, usually, it's not like you're clocking up again at the stall, why are you even looking for it here, Gara?" lis said as she raised both shoulders indifferently, then stepped away without caring for Segara.
Back Segara could only sigh while rubbing his face rough, he was very confused where to look for Pearls again.
"Maybe he's already at the market, I'll try to find him there again!" thought Segara.
"Which pearl, Gara?" Imran asked him.
"I think he's here, sir! earlier I even followed him to the house but he also did not come home from yesterday!"
Segara is increasingly anxious because in the market he did not find Pearls.
"I'll find the Pearl, sir!" Segara immediately ran away leaving Imran to shout among the crowd of fishermen who had begun to be crowded there because everything had returned from the sea.
Segara continued to walk down the beach while continuing to call the name Pearl. He also asked anyone he met in the beach area, but no one claimed to see Pearls in the area.
Segara finally arrived at the small river estuary area where he and Pearl usually spend time together. Segara stood there while throwing his gaze into the middle of the ocean, he was very confused and anxious, his hunch said that when Pearl was not okay, he was very worried about Pearl.
The atmosphere at that time was getting brighter because the sun had appeared in the eastern horizon, arriving at the sight of Segara was fixed on an object that was lying in the sand, he felt familiar with it and slowly grabbed it by his hand.
"It's a Pearl hair tie, why is it here? means he was here last night, I remember yesterday afternoon before I went to sea, Pearl wearing this hairband?" Segara noticed the hairband in his hand, and he could recognize that it was a Pearl's hairband because almost every day the hair tie was worn by Pearl.
Somehow his feet just moved along the beach, like there was a bond that called him to continue walking through the river estuary area in front of him.
Not too far from there, Segara's gaze was fixed on a wooden hut far enough from the beach, there was a large tree behind the hut, but he was very hesitant, he was very hesitant, there is no way Pearl is there because the place is quite far from the dock and also the stall. It is certain that Pearl is not possible to go to that place, especially there is very quiet and far from the settlement of residents.
"Pearl can't be here, I'd better find it around the village!" Segara continued to mutter.
Segara turned his body and was about to leave the place to look for Pearls elsewhere, but suddenly he gasped, gasping, faintly faint he heard the sound of cries for help from within the wooden hut and his voice sounded very familiar to him.
"Pearl!"
"That's the sound of the Pearl screaming, what happened to her?" segara immediately panicked. As fast as lightning he ran towards the wooden hut.
Segara widened his eyes when he saw two men standing in front of the hut like they were on guard. Segara peeked out from behind a large tree behind the hut so the two men were unaware of his presence there.
"Please! let go of me, Bang! don't hurt me!" the sound of screaming was now more clearly heard in his ears.
"Pearls.., yes it's the sound of Pearls!" segara's emotions immediately ignited hearing the scream.
Braakk...!
Segara kicked hard a broken fish storage box in front of the hut so that it was thrown towards the two men who were on guard.
The two men were shocked because they were completely unaware of Segara's presence there.
"Let go of my wife! don't you dare touch her!" segara's snort was furious as he stared intently at the two men.
"We're attacking him!" exclaimed one of the men and immediately attacked Segara with kicks and punches, but easily Segara repelled the attack of two men who were determined to attack him.
Segara is very trained in fighting, from a small life Arkha has got a military education, all types of martial arts are learned starting from karate, silat and taekwondo, that's because Arkha's parents expect Arkha to grow up to be a strong person in running a business and his company that has a lot to do with violence and crime.
Despite being attacked by two people at once, but Segara very easily paralyzed the two people, in just a few kicks the two men immediately collapsed to the ground. After defeating the two men, Segara immediately approached the door of the hut and kicked it hard.
Praakk....!
The door of the hut reot was instantly detached and wide open. Segara opened his eyes very angry when he saw the Pearl was there in a state where both his hands were tied and his eyes were covered in black cloth.
Segara stared intently at a man standing next to Pearl while pointing a knife at Pearl's neck.
