Chapter 46: Mutual-Evit 6 of 10 “White filler flows” (Part 01)

Silent night. Lush trees blown by the wind — Makes the sound of friction leaves and brings the aroma of charred leaves that still sting. Not far from the settlement, the release ceremony for those who were victims was carried out on a land in the forest. Their meal was made neat, lined up adjacent to one headstone of a simple wooden board that had a perfect circular hole in the center.

In a quiet atmosphere, in front of the newly completed cemetery that afternoon the Klista people sat together. Wearing white clothes with black scarves, they were not wearing footwear and were sitting on the ground in grief. The sound of sobs was faintly heard from their abandoned relatives.

Roro Nia’an sat at the very front between them, raising both hands to the front of the chest and intertwining fingers to pray for souls. A sparkling light appeared in the middle of the afternoon of the forest, it was not a firefly but a fresh soul fragment completely released into the sky from the bodies of those who had been buried.

Pure yellowish white, each piece radiates bright and so plain. That is the shape of the soul pieces of Klista people who became victims. It floated into the air, then disappeared unraveling in the sky.

In that silence, Odo stood outside those who performed the ceremony of deliverance. Lean on one of the trees with Vil. The young man did not participate in the release ceremony like the Klistas or Lisians and their subordinates, he only saw like a stranger who did not believe in things like salvation after death.

Indeed Odo explained that the release ceremony is a form to release souls and spirits from their dead bodies, so as not to be used for dark rituals or demon summoning. But when he gets additional explanations such as a request for a form of safety to the villagers after death, the young man considers the ritual also contains other nonsense.

“Death is death, there is no salvation in it,” Odo thought as he saw them praying with wisdom.

In the glitter of light that floated out from the surface of the tombs and went to the sky, Odo at a glance observed and understood that the lights were indeed the souls left behind. One of the pieces of light flew near Odo. Raising his finger, he let the light alight. Information such as recollections, desires, and regrets at a glance he peeked at the light pieces that then floated away.

“About where they went, huh?” muttered Odo with a grim face.

Vil gave a small glance, slightly understanding Odo's feelings who was still very attached to the short-lived creature. For the Great Spirit death was not the end, especially for Vil who could be reborn as much as he wanted as long as he was still recognized as the North Sea Lord of the Astral World. Leaning his head on the young man's shoulders with black hair, he glimpsed flatly at the people who were praying.

“They just took off .... The form of the Spirit will only return to nature, then the soul will become another life form at a different time in the future,”, said Vil. Not because of their deaths, but because he imagined Odo would someday end up like them even though the young man was old.

“Vil, do you believe in the concept of reincarnation? Especially what the people of the empire and Ungea,” said Odo.

“I just said what happened to those souls. The cycles of life and death do exist, they all return to the Stream of Life .... That mediator, he really did his job well.”

“What ... means?” Odo glanced at the woman leaning on him.

“The teaching of funerals is of two types if the soul or body does not want to be used for dark magic, namely by means of burial and cremation. Cremation destroys the soul, spirit, and body by force. The soul drifts in the process of burning, the spirit becomes the energy of nature, and the body becomes ashes. But in the funeral as the Klista tribe did this ..”.

“Jasad becomes fully property of nature?”

“Hmm, after the soul is released, the body becomes the property of the creature that is in the ground. They ... only release the soul completely back into the Life Stream.”

Odo momentarily fell silent at such an explanation. Not that he never knew about the kind of burial or soul-removal, but it was the first time he had seen such a thing in person. The burial by being buried made Odo briefly recall something in the past, be it his own memories or the memories he got from the Demon King.

Amidst the sobs that began to break in that place at the end of the release ceremony, the young man with black hair only gave a flat look and leaned back on Vil. His cornea briefly turned green, coldly analyzing all that was before him and acted as if he were just an observer.

After the release ceremony, everyone returned to the settlement to rest after what they had done all day. Amidst the footsteps of the people, the young man in black hair called out patting Lisia's shoulder and called her, “Nona, can talk for a while?”

Lisia slightly jolted in shock because she was daydreaming. Turning around and staring up close due to the lack of lighting, the red-haired woman realized that the one who called her was Odo. “What's up? Huh .... You make me surprised,” he said as he took a breath and calmed down.

“This is about the conversation this afternoon. Me and Vil want to go back to the city, honestly Mbak Minda and Mbak Imania must be anxious there. If they report that is not-no to Mother definitely add runyam problem.”

Lisia was a little grim when she heard that. Silently for a moment, people walked past the two of them and he still did not say anything. As everyone left Odo and Lisia alone, the red-haired woman raised her face and stared.

The starry sky light came in, cut into pieces by the leaves of the fir and shone faintly on their faces. In a slightly sad and anxious tone the red-haired woman said, “Hmm, fine. For business here ..., let me handle it. Anyway, I've decided it.”

“What is no problem? Isn't Miss se—?”

Lisia interrupted, “You yourself suggested it, ‘kan?”

“True also.”

“What ... You okay go night-night?”

“Hmm, I don't think it's a problem. My eyesight is pretty sharp.”

Odo was speechless, smiling with his pale face and slightly turning his gaze away. With the mood still not in tune, they decided on some of those things. What they decided was to move the Klista tribe to near Mylta and form a new village there. In other words, settlements on the existing plateau will be abandoned and that will concern the approval of the Rockfield government.

Over twenty meters from where Odo and Lisia were, Vil stared flat in the darkness. The Dimensional Bracelet he wore emitted a faint purple light, signaling the power of the black hair youth embedded on the object was active. It works not disposable, but a kind of checkpoit that can be replenished if it is near Odo within a certain period of time.

“Basic liar ulung,” mind Vil while turning away from them. Although he did not hear the conversation of the two people, but he more or less understood what sentence Odo would give the woman red hair.

In the silent forest with the occasional wolf howl, Odo spurred his chariot into the darkness. A magic circle was faintly visible within the young man's cornea, giving him night vision on par with nocturnal beings. Although only aided by the lighting of oil lanterns hung on the train, they drove smoothly as if there were no obstacles at all.

It is indeed dangerous to race horses at night, especially in mountainous areas. But with the power of the young man who manipulated the vision information of the two horses that pulled his chariot, the, he directly directed them as if the two horses understood what Odo wanted to say and had to go in which direction. Through Reins (horse ropes), the young man transmits information to control them.

Sitting next to the young man in black hair, Vil was only speechless with a slightly astonished look. His brows furrowed, occasionally glancing, and put on a curious face mixed with a sense of wonder.

“What?” tanya Odo felt uneasy with that gaze.

“Not it .. Your magic structure is broken? Last ... I also had time to check your body and a lot of your magic structure died, you know.”

“Hmm, continue?” Odo looked back to the front, sighed lightly and narrowed his eyes knowing such a question would definitely be asked VIl.

“Well, why can use magic?” Vil pointed at the two horses pulling their carriage, then in a surprised tone asked, “You controlled the horses so that they could run smoothly in the dark with magic, ‘kan?”

“Ah, this is Aitisal Almaelumat. Have I not explained it in detail, yes?”

“The power to manipulate information .... It's some kind of magic, ‘kan?”

Vil held his seat close until his shoulder was attached to the young man's shoulder. Because of the significantly increased sense of smell, Odo smelled the fragrance of the woman's blue hair. At first glance in the mind wondering why can Vil sewangi it even though it has not taken a bath for a few days, but because it feels not timely Odo immediately turned his eyes and refocused forward.

“Eng, it's not real magic,” said Odo lightly. Back glancing lightly, he explained, “Magic tends to use Mana and a magic structure or formula to activate it. But, my strength was more of a kind of using my feet and hands, I was free to wear it like breathing.”

“Eh?” Vil was surprised, his eyebrows twitched and slightly moved away with a reluctant expression.

Getting such a reaction, Odo refocused himself forward and said, “Well, being honest about my broken magic structure was actually a misunderstanding as well. I can manipulate information and fix it easily.”

“EH?!” Vil was completely shocked and immediately approached back. The woman's chest briefly clung to Odo's shoulder, making him glance lightly with a flat expression.

After moving sit a little away from Vil for some reason the young man in black hair said, “When against one of the Moloias, I had a chance to meet someone who was not suitable to be fought with my condition when using magic. Therefore, I manipulated the information in my body and moved it to focus on the bare-handed fight. Well, exactly I reduced the activation of magic to increase physical strength, did Booster by using vitality and eventually the structure became dead.”

“What the fuck is that?” Vil was completely dumbfounded, sighing fretfully and shaking his head. Staring at the young man's black hair with a look of flat eyes, he said, “It's not natural there is also a limit, know.”

“Tetap just unnatural .... Means, if you continue physical training, your magic power can also go up, ‘kan?”

“Hmm, it can indeed.”

“Haah, it is not scalable.” Lifting both feet up the seat and bending it, Vil stared ahead with a slightly grim expression. Glancing at the young man next to him, the Great Spirit made sure, “Itu .. Demon King power, ‘kan? Are there no side effects?”

“So far there is no. But ...”

“But?”

Odo was silent, just looking ahead and like he was looking for the right explanation. Looking at the young man from the side, at first glance Vil put on a relieved expression because the young man did not have to experience a gloomy future because his magic structure was damaged.

Getting the appropriate words, Odo glanced at a glance and began to explain, “I once explained this power of mine in the library, the information I manipulated it will be permanent. Indeed I could have manipulated it again, but it was just dyeing the paper full of ink with ink again. My body ... if used continuously it might be damaged, like paper submerged in ink.”

Vil was surprised, lowered both his legs and went back closer to Odo. Anxiously he said, “Bu-Not that a danger?”

“Indeed, therefore I need to find a more precise way. This way is not perfect.”

“What can be overcome?”

“Yes, if I separate the basic body condition with a body condition that can be manipulated information, maybe the side effects of continued use can be prevented.”

“Starting?” Vil was completely confused by that, slightly tilted his head to the right and could not at all guess what the young man wanted to do.

“Ah, how to explain it, yes. If likened, it's kind of steaming meat with teak leaves. The basic condition is meat, while the outer condition that the information will be manipulated is teak leaf wrap, both are my body. The heat from the outside is the manipulation and effect, with the protective layer of meat will not burn and even ripen. When finished, the wrap can also be replaced.”

Vil momentarily fell silent hearing such an explanation. His forehead shriveled and his expression was slightly astonished, not understanding why the young man explained with such a parable. Stop looking at the young man, Vil looked ahead and took a close look at the young man's words.

“Hmm, more or less I can see the picture. But ... Why the food parable? Although I do not need to eat, but I also have an appetite, loh.”

“Hungary?” Odo.

“No, it's just somehow so want to eat meat.”

Focusing back to the front, he said, “In the bracelet there is meat, loh. Space MM-44 if not wrong, the rest of yesterday-yesterday.”

“Really?” Vil holds the bracelet he wears on his right arm. His face looked pleased until a little saliva flowed out. But after becoming something, his expression turned flat quickly and he said, “Eh, is it not stale?”

“Let's just relax, groceries will not rot in the storage room.”

“Ah, true too, it uses the concept of dimension and time affected.” Staring at Odo with a hopeful look, Vil asked, “Hmm, can I eat?”

“Eat only. But be careful, yes. The aroma could have invited monsters.”

“Ugh!” Vil fell silent, his appetite instantly disappeared and his face turned irritated. Turning his eyes, he exasperatedly said, “Hmm, not so ...”

The atmosphere turned silent for a moment, with no conversation and only the occasional howling sound to accompany the trip. Odo quite enjoyed the calm, his mind could focus on devising some plans so that things like before did not happen again. But not until five minutes, Vil again began the conversation.

“Odo, means you lied to them, dong!”

Odo glanced flatly, in his mind he felt, “Nih Great Spirit turned out to be a lot of talk, yes. I guess he's the quiet type .... Eng, I don't think that's it. What is this so-called quiet person when talking must not end?”

“You lied to them,” said Vil back.

“I'm not lying,” refute Odo. Staring flat in a slightly irritated mood, the young man confirmed, “As you know, I never told you once that my magic structure was broken. Those who casually make conclusions.”

Vil smiled lightly, turned his face away in disbelief and said, “It looks like you are indeed that type of person, huh?”

“Hah?” Odo's forehead shriveled, looked back to the front and asked, “What does it look like?”

Vil put on a flat expression, took a slight glance and replied, “Kata Mavis, there are two types of impostors in this world. Who deceives with lies and beautiful words, then the other is the one who deceives with truth.”

“Hah?”

“You expose abstract truths and make people misunderstand, make them believe misunderstandings are true and you cheat.”

Odo was silent for a moment. He knew what Vil meant, indeed the truth was the most effective thing to manipulate and deceive others. Toying with facts and making people misinterpret is also one of the scams. A little glance, the young man said, “Kejam .... So it's my fault, huh? Those who want to make a decision, loh.”

“Hahah, also true.”

Vil laughed lightly, nodded a few times and smiled loosely. Odo who saw that could only be astonished, he never saw the Great Spirit joking. Seeming alive, full of passion and passion, such a thing was different from what Odo knew about him.

Vil slightly sat away from Odo, then again made another topic of conversation, “By the way, does it matter this bracelet I hold on to? This ... full of your stuff, ‘kan?”

“Tak problems .... If something suddenly happens, I don't have to bother to take it off and pass it to you.” Odo raised his right arm, showed me twelve redness on his skin and said, “Itu .. size does not fit my arm, anyway.”

Vil slightly rolled up his blouse arm, touched the black surface of the bracelet and felt a rough rune engraving. Nodding once, he said, “Hmm, right too. My small arms would be easy to enter indeed.”

“Oh ...” Odo simply replied indifferently.

“By the way, Odo.”

“What else?” The young man's forehead shriveled, starting to get really uncomfortable.

“I've heard of it from Mavis. Usually in male and female relationships, financial factors are held by the woman.”

“Terus?”

“Eng, not.”

“Eh?”

Odo did not understand what the Great Spirit was talking about. Trying not to care about such a thing, he focused forward and began to answer Vil's words to a minimum. During the journey, the young man answered only Vil's question with one word.
