Chapter 20: Einerseits Obst 2 of 4 (Part 01)
Under the gently falling snow-white covered trees, patches of fresh blood splattered mixed with cold white grains on the surface where it stood. A boy dressed in bongsor leaned against one of the tree trunks, then momentarily stared coldly at the expanse of monster corpses that were lying around the place. The monsters were green-skinned, dwarf-bodied and had pointy ears―Goblin that were still not mutated and in their normal form.
Glancing to the side, the black-haired boy saw two women who were busy picking up Magic Crystals from monster corpses, one dressed as a waiter and the other wearing Odo's jacket coat, the two men are Julia and Minda.
With a sword in her right hand, Minda tore through the chest of the monster corpse and soared up her sleeve before reaching into the crystal embedded within the chest of the dwarf-green creature. In contrast to her colleague, Julia took a dagger that was placed on a circular belt on her right thigh. Holding the dagger with his right hand, the Demi-human threw a dagger towards one of the Goblin corpses, and in an instant the creature's chest shattered to a blister as if it was burning and left only Magic Crystals ready to be retrieved.
Aware of crouching down and picking up the crystal, Julia was aware of the gaze of the black-haired child standing not far from her. The silvery-haired girl stopped her work and looked at her master. “What's up, Mr Odo?” he asked in a relaxed tone, although his black stockings and face contained several patches of monster blood.
“No ...” Odo looked away, then briefly took a fretful breath. Recalling what happened a few hours ago, he still could not believe that the original strength of the Shieals was so great more than he thought.
Within a few minutes after they had entered the inner part of the Pondo Forest to begin the hunt, their entourage consisting of Julia, Minda, Imania, Xua Lin, Gariadin, and the others, and Odo himself immediately cross paths with a group of Goblin monsters that fail to hibernate. Unlike the time against the bandits, the Shieal did not hold back at all and instantly annihilated the monsters very quickly without giving them a chance to put up a meaningful fight.
The result of that was where Odo was standing now, full of Goblin corpses that numbered over a dozen, hanging on top of a tree with an open stomach and sprawled out on top of a pile of snow with his head severed off, or in other terrible conditions.
“They are really strong when it comes to group cooperation,” muttered the black-haired boy as he stopped leaning and started to step his legs forward, he said, heading towards Gariadin and Xua Lin who were also picking up Magic Crystals from the Goblin corpses. Up close to them, the black-haired child only gave a light and unhelpful look, really just observing what they were doing.
“What's up, Young Master? Why are you standing there?” Gariadin stopped his work, then faced toward Odo with his right hand covered in blood-stained iron gauntlets with small marble-sized Magic Crystals.
Glanced at Xua Lin who was also picking up the crystal from the Goblin corpse, Odo only realized that the Demi-human female with the bear element was more sadistic in her fighting ways when she saw her black gautlet was more full of blood than Gariadin's.
“Young master just sit with Imania there, you do not like kayak gini, ‘kan?” gariadin continued while cleaning the Magic Crystals from the blood, then put them in a wooden box placed near them. Odo looked back at the black-haired man with a flat look.
“Not really ...” The boy turned around and obeyed Gariadin's advice, He walked to the corner where the corpse was full of and stood near the long gray-haired girl who was crouching under the snow-covered tree. Glancing at her master who was standing nearby and looking dissatisfied with something, Imania narrowed her eyes slightly and put on a look of wonder.
The gray-haired girl stood up, then pulled up Odo's shirt. As the black-haired child glanced flatly, Imania pressed both ends of her index finger against her cheeks and widened her lips, asking her master to smile.
“Oh .., instead I am not satisfied with this result, Ms. Imania. It's just ..., if only Goblin .. I alone was enough to defeat all of them even though the number reached hundreds if fighting in the open like this .... Aaaaah, to be honest when I hope there are monsters of the same class as Giftmelata or something like that.”
The black-haired boy crouched down and leaned against the tree behind him, his eyes filled with darkness quickly and an expression so dark appeared from him. Immania gasped at that, He took one step back. The gray-haired woman looked to her right and left in confusion as she did not know what to do when she saw her master glum like that.
Immania at a glance thought to ask Julia for help. But when she was about to step foot, the girl who could not speak was held in her dress and stopped by the black-haired child who was crouching limp. “No need to panic so, Ma'am. My face if it is moody is so ..” said Odo while looking at the astonished face of Imania.
The woman dressed in a servant uniform consisting of black and white color had an intention to call Julia who was picking up Magic Crystals. He turned to look at the master, then crouched down beside him with a sense of mixed mind. With sign language and gestures, Imania asked Odo why he could put on such a dark and sinister expression.
Understanding the hand communication and body language that Imania had delivered, Odo smiled slightly, then turned his face and looked towards Gariadin and Xua Lin who were still picking up Magic Crystals.
“That's because I already know too much ..., even to the point of knowing something I shouldn't know .... Therefore, the right to be selfish and lazy is no longer with me. My life is no longer mine alone ..”
Immania is confused to hear the words full of implicit meaning. He tilted his head to the right and his expression showed that he could not catch what his master said. Not caring about it, Odo stood up and stretched his hands forward. The face with its dark eyes began to mix with a dark smile, fixed to the sky with its head slightly looking up.
“Joking, don't take that seriously, Ma'am Imania.” Odo turned his head and gave a relaxed look with a bright face, filled with a peaceful smile, as if indeed the expression he had on him a few seconds ago was completely non-existent. Immania gulped heavily, at a glance He turned his gaze away from his master with anxiety in mind.
A few minutes passed after that, and the Magic Crystals had finished collecting from the Goblin corpses. Carrying the wooden city containing the crystals, Mind and Xua Lin poured the collected crystals into one place in one of the boxes. Although it has been placed in one container, but indeed the crystals obtained are still very far from the expedition quota.
Gariadin took the sled they had brought when they began to enter the forest, the plank was rectangular with the bottom equipped with a sled with two slightly thin wooden beams, it is about five meters long and less than three meters wide. After Gariadin and Xua Lin raised two wooden boxes, one of which contained crystals onto a skateboard along with other boxes, they again took their respective weapons that had been cleaned of blood with a cloth. The dark red-haired man carried a spear grasped with his right hand, while Xua Lin had a pair of black-colored gauntlets in both hands.
Finished arranging everything, Gariadin and Xua Lin walked over while dragging the sled with ropes to where their master and the others had gathered. Upon reaching them, Odo leaning against one of the trees began to stand up straight and walked up to the two men. At first glance glancing into the wooden box whose top was open, the black-haired boy sighed in dissatisfaction when he knew the box was not fully filled.
“It looks like just Goblin did not satisfy the result, yes ...”
Hearing that remark, Gariadin and Xua Lin simply fell silent and did not express an opinion in their minds. In contrast to them, Julia walked up to Odo and patted him on the shoulder from behind. “Just relax, we just started, Mr Odo!” he said with a cheerful tone. Looking back and giving a flat look to Julia, the boy replied with a long sigh.
“Mbak Julia .., if like this can-can be a week also not finished loh.”
“Ya .., I can't protest about that either. Come to think of it, indeed collecting four boxes full of Magic Crystals was impossible if it was just one day ..”
Julia turned her face away, her tail and ears twitched fidgetily on their own and showed clearly what the Demi-human was feeling. Odo sighed again, then covered his own face with both palms.

As the black-haired child raised both palms from the face, his cornea had turned red and the aura present in the child had changed drastically. Julia gasped in shock, as did the other Shieals who were aware of the terrifying air that was clearly emanating from Odo.
“Sister Julia retreats!” panic shouted Gariadin. He and Xua Lin immediately jumped away keeping their distance reflexively. So did Mind and Immania, they immediately turned and ran away.
The four of them were completely trembling in fear feeling the terrifying air emanating from the black-haired child. The wind around the place was blowing strangely, carrying an unpleasant air and feeling very stifling when inhaled. Julia who was completely motionless from her place stared at the surprised master. He knew what aura was emanating from it, but his common sense was unwilling to accept the fact that the child actually possessed such power at such a young age.
“Mr Odo ..., that terrible aura .. did you get it from the Black Dragon?”
“Ya ..” The black-haired boy raised his face, then looked at Julia with red eyes that looked like a reptile. Within seconds after that one word was spoken, the snow that fell around the place instantly evaporated along with the piles that were on the surface of the ground and the trees. The white expanse within a radius of over a hundred meters around Odo completely disappeared and turned into an autumn-like scene amidst the winter siege.
Julia and the others gaped at what had happened in that instant. Their bodies trembled instantly, breaths felt tight and feet began to stiffly tremble to step. Amidst the terrifying air that enveloped the place, Odo sighed lightly with a flat expression.
“Herbs .... You don't have to look at me like that, I won't attack you guys, kok.” The terrifying aura emanating from Odo began to weaken. Scratching the back of his head, the boy turned his gaze away from the people who were staring at him like he was staring at a monstrous monster.
“Ma-Sorry ..., I didn't mean to bergitu, Young Master.” Gariadin walked towards that master, as well as the others. Although there was still a bad taste in each other's minds, they still approached and tried to believe that the figure with the terrible aura was still the Odo they knew.

Looking at Gariadin who was showing an anxious look on his face more than others, Odo smiled slightly and gave a friendly look with his red eyes.
“Don't worry like that, Brother Gariadin. I'm not going to attack anyone. The power of this Black Dragon is already completely mastered, so do not worry about losing control like the power of Mbak Imania who is often unstable.”
The dark red-haired man was shocked, as well as the others because the boy could tell that the power of Immania was classified as a power that was still not perfectly controlled. As if ignoring everyone's startled reaction, Odo turned around and looked the other way with a rapidly changing glare of eyes.
“Ah .., they're coming. It turns out that this method is effective as well .... ”
“Hah! This eve ...”
Julia instantly increased her magic pressure, then instantly took out the two daggers that were on the circular belts on both of her thighs and held them in both hands with the dagger eyes facing out. Followed by Gariadin, the other Shieal also immediately prepared to fight after feeling the air of existence with a very strong killing pressure that approached very quickly.
“Young Master! What the hell are you doing! The Goblins are also troublesome! If the monsters come together like this ..” The mind trembled in fear, the trauma with the monsters began to rise again as it sensed the presence of the approaching monsters in great numbers.

From behind the trees that were within the distance of his vision, there was a four-legged monster that was four meters high and had a very strange shape, which was very strange, its body was like a brown-feathered bear but on its back it had a shell full of long horns as well as its tail shaped like a giant scorpion-sized tail that very clearly dripped poison from its tip. As if ignoring the obstructing trees, the monster lunged at everything it passed and toppled the obstructing trees.
“Hmm, a Tarasque apparently that is hooked .... Is there a big river around here, huh?” mumbling Odo.
The black-haired child extended his right hand forward, then began to increase his magic pressure to a minimal degree. The steam created from the previously evaporated snow began to collect, then centered into a dense ball of air at the tip of the palm using temperature manipulation magic which is one of Hariq Iliah's abilities.
Passing through the trees and through some tree trunks as if punching holes in paper, the dagger shot fiercely towards Tarasque. The tang! Cracks! The dagger bounced and stuck in one of the tree trunks. The attack hit the forehead of the four-legged monster, but the attack only made the forehead of the hard-skinned monster crack and did not slow it down at all.
“Not translucent?!” Julia was momentarily surprised. Without wasting time, he threw the dagger in his left hand into his right hand, then again made plans to throw it again with the same technique.
As the Demi-humans prepared, Gariadin who had been planning to throw his spear directly at the monster that was crashing through the trees. Controlling the spear using the rune in the right-handed gauntlet connected to the spear's eye, his weapon darted by without hitting a single tree and precisely hit the crack on Tarasque's forehead formed from Julia's previous attack. Although it was on target, but still it did not stop the monster's pace because the attack was too shallow to plunge.
“Serius ..., does this monster have harder skin than steel?” Gariadin stepped back trembling.
“Keep your spear!” julia shouted, He is ready to throw his dagger. On the eyes of the dagger in his right hand which was held by being squeezed between the thumb and forefinger, shone a burning red aura that exuded a hot aura.
“YA!” Gariadin activated the rune on the gauntlet, then manipulated the spear and retracted it towards where it stood. At the same time, Julia directly threw her dagger towards the same point. Crossed over with Schoningen's spear returning to its owner, the dagger Julia threw pointed straight and landed right on the monster's forehead and plunged inside Tarasque's head.
The huge-bodied monster began to slow down and fall down until it made a pile of snow mixed with the raised ground. His body did not move and completely stopped running over. Breathing in relief, Julia and Gariadin stared at each other in satisfaction. Xua Lin and Imania who saw the quick actions of the two people took a sigh of relief.
But within seconds the relief quickly dissipated, the Tarasque they thought was perishing began to wake up again. His head covered in hard skin began to break like a shell, then the original figure of the monster began to be seen. The hairy head that looks like a lion is starting to look, on his forehead there is a small dagger that sticks shallow. Seeming extremely wrathful, the monster roared and made the snow falling around it knocked out by the violent gusts of wind.
“Advanced stage of monster mutation!?” Julia immediately turned around and hugged Odo to take him away. Everyone in that place realized that the stage of such a monster change was not an opponent that could be defeated directly from the front, they immediately turned around and were about to flee from that place immediately.
“Why even run away, even though it has been painstakingly provoked.” Odo dodged when he was about to be carried by Julia. The black-haired boy jumped, then used the right shoulder of July as a foothold to jump again up the trees.
“Eh ..?” Julia looked puzzled as she realized the child was moving very quickly and passed by her. Turning to look at Odo who was standing on top of a tree branch, Julia immediately trembled anxiously because Tarasque was really very close.

The transparent sphere shot out quickly and hit the monster, then it exploded lightly and spread the air. Bursting and scattered steam into Talasque's body, the huge monster was again struck by lightning from within the body and this time completely finished him off. The cornea of the monster's small eyes turned white, then its body collapsed without being able to get up again.
Seeing what Odo was doing, the Shieal who had wanted to escape immediately stopped with his mouth gaping surprised to see the black-haired boy could defeat a monster of the Khimaira type easily. Julia immediately walked up to Odo, then immediately grabbed the child's right ear.
“Eh! It hurts! It hurts! Why!?”
The black-haired child was completely in pain and shocked as his ears pulled Julia abruptly. Seeing what was happening, the other Shieal put on a flat gaze and their shock changed rapidly with a strange taste mixed with obscurity.
Stopping the boy's ears, Julia immediately twisted Odo's small body and immediately knelt down to hug him tightly. Odo was shocked to get the hug. At that time the black-haired child was aware of the reason behind the protective nature that Julia gave. Closing his eyes for a moment as the silvery-haired Demi-human girl was still hugging him, Odo took a light breath and exhaled.
“So yes, that kind of affectionate nature .. which is on Ms Julia.”
As Julia let go of her embrace, the look on her face with teary eyes was clearly visible to Odo. The black-haired boy immediately stepped back after Julia got back to her feet. Turning his face to the right, the boy put on an annoyed face of something.
“Why pull my ear like that, pain know!” Holding his right ear red, Odo stared intently at Julia. Getting such a word, Julia added landing a punch right on the crown of her head.
“So that's overkill, Mr Odo! If the monster was still alive and the final stage of the Mutant monster process how?” snapped Julia. The silvery-haired girl was completely enraged, her face and tail expression standing straight clearly revealing that.
“What the hell!? The monster is dead too! Why even angry!” back to Odo.
“If the monster was more dangerous how?!”

“Wait a minute, don't move!” say annoyed the boy. The mind immediately inserts the upper lip into the mouth and puts on a very confused face. About a minute later, Odo removed the hairs of Mind around the edges after being used for strange things by the child.
Checking the lump on the head, Odo who realized that the lump was still there immediately grew annoyed because his knowledge was really just a myth. Taking a breath to calm down, the boy looked towards the Mind. “Thank you, Ma'am .... Sorry to tangle his hair,” said the boy without the slightest sense of sin on his expression.
“It's okay .., I don't mind .... But ..., what are you doing?” tanya Minda represents the curiosity of everyone who saw Odo's strange behavior that was very sudden.

Their curiosity did not disappear but instead grew. Ignoring this, Odo approached Julia and stood before the Demi-humans. “Why did Sister Julia hit my head?!” ask her with a annoyed tone.
Getting such a question after the strange atmosphere, Julia covered her face with her right hand and turned her head away. “Akh, stop. I was wrong to be angry, sorry. Mr. Odo was already strangely unhelpful, already of an acute level. It is my fault to judge your behavior by the normal standards that exist,” said Julia in a resigned tone.
“Eh?” Odo slightly raised his chin, he was confused to have to put it into the category of ridicule or flattery.
Gariadin and Xua Lin walked up to the two of them, then patted Julia on the shoulder and nodded as if understanding something. Lifting up her face-covering right hand, Julia put on an expression like meeting someone she was the same fate as in terms of understanding the behavior of the black-haired child.
“Oi, I don't know why you guys are such a bitch...” Odo stared at them flatly.
At the moment when the atmosphere that could be said to start slack, suddenly the existence of the monster that had previously joined behind the finished Talasque began to move. This time the monsters were not as strong as the first to attack, but in terms of numbers they were very numerous and could clearly feel the approaching crowd quickly.
Aware of that, they all understood that their joking time was up. Sucking with their respective weapons and raising the magic aura, the Shieal instantly formed a circular formation with Odo and Imania in the middle to be protected. Putting on a flat face and understanding that the formation also meant not allowing him to attack, Odo immediately kicked Julia's buttocks standing in front of him to fall into the snow.
