At about the same time, on one of the streets connecting the Main Gate with the city hall. The cold breeze was getting more and more pronounced, blowing away the dust and some leaves from some ornamental trees along the way. The sky grew cloudier until it completely covered the sun, rumbling began to sound even without a flash of lightning visible above.

In the traffic that is on the main road is still crowded, among them Odo stepped his feet casually while carrying a large sack of cloth on his right shoulder. The young man in black hair was still wearing the same clothes as yesterday, black material pants and a white shirt that was wrapped in a robe cloth that scavenged two holes on the surface.

Walking beside the young man, a silvery-white-haired little girl glanced curiously and searched around for the right time to ask. Nanra had been curious since last night when Odo came to bring some new people, wanted to ask about it but could not get the right moment.

Noticing the serious gaze of the white dress girl walking with him, Odo glanced at the small and asked, “Why? Want to ask something?”

“Emm-hmm ...” Nanra nodded once, slightly slowing her footsteps to look at the hole in the young man's robe and asked, “Why is your robe hollow like that? Where did you go last night?”

With his feet up, Odo looked away and felt that Nanra should not have known about the angelic manifestation she used last night.  Pointing at the index finger of his left hand, the young man put on a stiff smile and replied, “Many needs suddenly last night, therefore I did not even have time to find what I needed this.”

Nanra again adjusted her walking pace to Odo, walking beside him and a flat gaze was instantly directed at the sack the young man was carrying. While putting on an astonished expression, Nanra asked, “What are all those green teak leaves for? Do you want to experiment again to make potions or something? Until we go out the gate early in the morning ..”

“Not, not ...” Odo lowered his finger, held his chin and looked forward with a serious expression. In a boasting tone he said, “This is for the store, natural wrap for our products.”

“Ah, like those smoked fishmongers, yes?”

Odo just smiled a little hearing that. He glanced back at Nanra, feeling that the little girl actually wanted to talk about something else instead of discussing the teak leaves they had gathered in the forest. But because the girl did not dare to ask at all, the young man with black hair began to say, “Are you worried about the two new people I brought?”

The girl slightly flinched, her gaze quickly turned to the side and fell silent without even taking a single word out of her mouth. Odo understands why Nanra is silent, the girl is still traumatized by Moloia after an attempted murder case at the dock in the winter. Because of this, the girl seemed reluctant to discuss the two Moloias that Odo brought even though he wanted to know.

The atmosphere became silent between the two of them, some of the talks they had during the trip were cut off and the silence between them quickly grew. Not feeling the silence of each other, they reached the town hall where the intersection of all the main roads met. Just as he was about to turn towards the street towards the business district, Odo immediately grabbed Nanra's right hand with his left and pulled her in a different direction.

“This weekend and you're not going to Mass, let's go for a walk!”

“E—Eeeh?”

Without being able to refuse the young man's invitation, Nanra changed her course and took a different path from their original goal back to the Ordoxi Nigrum shop. Half-running, they set foot toward the northwest of the city. They did not pass through the main road full of people passing, but passed through narrow alleys between buildings and lonely paths. Arriving at the artificial canal in the corner of the city that is drained by water from the hills, the, they crossed the wooden bridge on top of it and walked out through the route that the first time Odo and Nanra came together to the city.

This time they did not pass through the culverts, but climbed a tree that was the height of the wall that surrounded the city of Mylta. Up on top Odo threw the sack that had been tied the tip down first, then the young man and Nanra used it as a landing spot after plunging from the wall which was more than four meters high.

After exiting, they walked south and passed the uphill road to arrive at a high cliff near the city. It was not too far away and it only took a few tens of minutes to arrive, but the strong gusts of wind and bushes made their steps heavier as they passed through the fairly steep footpaths.

Up at the top of the cliff overlooking the sea in the south, Odo was stunned and put the sack of cloth he was carrying down. Sitting on the rocky ground and looking at the view of the dark sea that at the end of the horizon began to rain, the young man smiled faintly and in his mind felt that it was not in vain to come to the place.

Nanra tidied up her dress and came to sit on the left of the young man, she stared in surprise and asked, “What are you coming to this Cliff of Hope for?”

“Cliffs Hope?” Odo looked small.

“That's the name of this place, you came without knowing it? He said this is where the ancestors of the Luke family came from a very distant land, you know. I just heard that from Sister Siska, anyway. Right or not, I don't know.”

Odo looked back at the sea, given the origin of the Luke family which is said to have originated in history is not from Michigan. Squinting and slightly sighing, he felt that indeed the world he lived in was filled with mysteries that he had not fully understood.

Sitting cross-legged and propping his head with his right hand, the young man in black hair replied, “I only briefly saw this place from the city, I thought it would definitely be very beautiful to see the twilight scene here. Watching the sunset from the top of a cliff near the sea, it feels romantic, right?”

“Unfortunately it is now overcast and not dusk.”

At first glance Nanra did not understand why Odo liked the sunset so much. Wanting to ask this, her words stopped in her throat and the girl closed her mouth again without being able to say a sentence. Nanra took the weeds that she had previously picked up from the bush while on the way, made it a rope and tied her hair so as not to be messed up by the strong wind.

For a moment enjoying the cool gusts of the sea, the young man got up and walked to the other side of the cliff. Looking towards the city, the look in his eyes turned flat and at a glance his cornea turned greenish. While putting on a relieved expression, he pointed towards the Inkara orphanage and said, “Your place looks small when viewed from here, huh?”

“Hmm?” Nanra got up, walked over to Odo's side and stared at the young man. Unable to see well because it was too far away, he asked, “You can see the orphanage from this distance? Is it also because of magic? Is it really around there?”

Odo chuckled softly, looked at Nanra's face from the side and replied, “Yes, it's possible ...”

“Hmm, so ...”

The conversation was interrupted, the atmosphere of silence grew again and they just silently looked at each other towards the city. From the nearest place to the cliff, you can see the brothel fox district and the port area, then continue to the east there is a craftsman district and continue to follow the road connected with the city hall. The entrance of the business district is near the Main Church located on a hill at the end of the city.

In the same complex as the center of worship, there is a main road that leads to an upper-class settlement where the Mayor's Mansion stands. At the complex it was also the residence of officials, middle to upper level officers, and also some lower class nobles such as knights whose titles were inherited from the family.

From the cliff where he was, Odo clearly saw the differences that exist from all the divisions of the settlement. The center of the murmur around the dock and the center of the splendor in the complex of city officials, seeing it Odo muttered, “Gap, yes ..”.

“Hmm? Gap?”

“Ya, this city quite reflects it.”

Nanra did not understand why Odo said that with a slightly sad expression. The girl understood that there was indeed a gap in the city of Mylta, but it was indeed a natural thing because it did not only happen in the coastal city. Almost every region in Felixia there is a social phenomenon, maybe only small villages such as Klista settlements that do not have gaps because they still use simple customary rules.

Staring a little curious, Nanra seriously asked, “Although a noble child, why are you more likely to want to be close to the lower classes and support them? Even to the point that it is difficult to build a store to prosper and give them a job .... It feels selfless like that, to be honest to me a little strange.”

“Entahlah ...” Odo crouched down, staring flatly at the city and in a slightly reluctant tone he replied, “I don't know either, Nanra.”

The silvery-white hair girl slightly tilted her head and looked at the dazed young man in black hair. After thinking about a few things, Naran again asked, “Then why are you helping people? What do you want? What's your goal?”

Looking towards the girl next to him, Odo asked back, “If I said I just wanted to see everyone happy, would you believe me?”

The silvery-white hair girl momentarily fell silent, stared flat and in a slightly irritated tone replied, “If you say that before giving me all this information, maybe I will believe.”

“Information I gave you was very impactful, huh?”

Nanra folded her hands together in front of her chest, puffing her cheeks and growling a little like a cat. Turning his eyes away with a look of flat eyes, the silvery-white hair girl said, “Don't pretend to be such a fool, you did it on purpose, ‘ right? So that I'm self-conscious ...”

“Are you angry?”

That sweet smile did not touch the heart of Odo who felt dead. But considering the situation, the young man with black hair put on a thin smile and said, “Thank God, I guess you will regret.”

“If you say sorry, there is one thing I regret ...”

“Hmm, what is it?”

While smiling arrogantly and pointing towards Odo, the silvery-white haired girl replied, “I can no longer skip to relax, my time is up for the store you built.”

“Ah ..” Odo stared at the city's religious settlement, then satirically said, “Think, today don't you have to attend church weekly school? After the Mass, right?”

“I've truant!” Nanra lowered her hand, looked away and reasoned, “If suddenly coming in the middle of it feels unpleasant. The gazes of the adults there are sometimes very piercing, know.”

“Hmmm ...” Odo lowered his gaze, fell silent for a moment and began to stand up as he stretched his hands up to stretch his body. Taking a light breath and smiling lightly, the young man said, “About Totto and the others can choose their own clothes or not, huh?”

“And you left them alone in the clothing store with the person from the Trade Union? Huh, I'm worried too .... Could have been mocked or tricked.”

“So if you're talking about Uncle Aprilo, something like that I don't think should be worried.”

Nanra glanced sharply, put on a pouting face and asked, “You believe that merchant so much, huh? Though his aura is like a miserly person who likes to only look for profit doang.”

“What is it?” Odo glanced back with a smug smile. While facing the girl, Odo brought his face closer and said, “It is possible, it is unexpected that he is a very good person if the same people are obedient, loh.”

Nanra turned her face in disbelief, tilted her lips and propped up, “Times yes? Isn't it all merchants that greedy monsters with treasures?”

Odo drifted away, turned his eyes away and could not argue about it. The nature of traders is so, if they do not have a passion for property, they will definitely fail as an entrepreneur. Thinking of something else to talk about, the young man decided to get into the main topic and asked, “By the way, Nanra .... About the people of Moloia, can I talk about them?”

Nanra flinched, her guilt returning to the surface and the memory of her stabbing Odo ringing in the head. It made the silvery-white hair girl tremble at a glance, holding her own right shoulder and bowing her face gloomily.

“Me-What's the talk about?”

The fear-filled voice gave Odo a quick glance to let out a small sigh. Putting his right hand on Nanra's head and stroking her, the young man said, “I no longer blame you for the incident, you don't have to worry or fear. You will not be punished about it, the case is closed and it is determined that it is entirely the fault of the people of Moloia ..”

“Ta-Tapi—!”

“Again,” cut Odo in a high voice, the young man quickly raised his hand from above Nanra's head. The silvery-white-haired girl's touch looked at the young man in black hair anxiously, trembling again and unable to say anything looking at the angry expression that appeared to her. Without letting Nanra reason, Odo clearly asserted, “Even though I died back then, I guess it was even a good thing for this world.”

“A-What are you talking about?” Nanra trembled even more, the words did not sound like people were joking.

Putting on a cold smile and staring with a blank look of eyes, Odo put his right index finger in front of his mouth and said, “Before you asked me why I did all this and helped so many people as if selflessly, right? About me not knowing .., that's a lie. I really know the direction ..., really understand why.”

“O-Odo ..?”

“You know, Nanra .... I just want to end it, I want to save someone and be helped by someone else. That's it...”

“Ka-You said what, anyway? Rescuing it? Rescued? What do you mean, Odo?”

“When the time comes you will understand. For now, let's help the people of this city, then save this land. At least ..., so that war does not break out in a big way.”

The wind blew fiercely, drizzling started to fall and drops of cold water from the sky hit the skin of the two people standing on the cliff. Under the dark sky they stared at each other, did not say anything and were speechless helping in the tense atmosphere.

Understanding that Nanra was really looking at him with fear, Odo immediately took a deep breath and with a smile said, “Kilow more so? Are you satisfied with my answer, Nanra?”

The face of the story that appeared to her did not erase Nanra's anxiety. While forcing a smile, the silvery-white hair girl replied, “Be-So, yes?”

“Hmm, before heavy rain falls, we better return to the city.”

Odo turned around and set foot toward the cloth sack he had placed earlier. Recalling something, the young man's footsteps came to a halt and he took out a silver tablet board from one of the storage dimensions on the robe that was still accessible.

The silver board had rune lines on its surface, magic structure and slightly exuded a strange magic power. Odo threw it onto the rocky surface of the ground, then the silver tablet board melted into liquid and seeped into the ground completely without leaving a crack.

Nanra who saw that was curious. He immediately put aside his fear, then asked, “Time in the forest you did too? What is it for?”

“Hmm ...” Odo shouldered the cloth sack, turned to the girl and said, “Explaining it is complicated. Bottom line, this is for insect exterminators.”

“Insect?”

“You'll know that later, let's get down to town! Oh, yes .... Before returning to the store, we stop by the Main Church first, yes.”

“Eeeeeh? Rain hunt, loh.”
