Chapter 68: Aswad 15 of 15 “According to dream” (Part 03)

“If you can, Arteria would like to exchange it …. However, this is already part of the contract and Arteria's normal vision will not return.”

“Good.” Odo momentarily disabled some external circuits to make a route into the Magic Core. Gazing lightly at Arteria, the young man again said, “Close both of your eyelids, Princess. Don't open it until I allow.”

“Eh? What does Mr Odo want?” Arteria looked reluctant.

“Already, just consider this a gift from me.”

“Eng ...”

Despite her suspicions, Arteria followed Odo's words and closed her eyes. He also closed the vision of his soul, making the blue-haired woman really only see darkness. When Odo's palms touched her closed eyes, Arteria was shocked. But the warmth made him not refuse, momentarily calm down and take a deep breath.

“Remember, do not open before I allow. Maybe this will hurt a little, but don't yell or thrash.”

“Sa-Sick?”

“I start ...”

With both palms placed in the eyes of both Arterian eyes, Odo used Aitisal Almaelumat and carried out information manipulation. What he did first was to open the route into both Arterian eyes, scan and start copying all the array of information contained within. The process takes place in just a few seconds, so fast because it is only done on the arrangement of information on the surface.

Odo's consciousness began to enter the Arterian array of information, it was like a huge, gray hallway filled with flying formulas. With consciousness perfectly formed and on the back radiating out safety to be able to return to his own body, Odo swim into the existing information arrangement.

Copying information, extracting, then adjusting before applying it to his Magic Core.

In the second stage after the information was copied, Odo transported it and implanted the information into his own body. Slowly the black hair youth's eyes closed, performing the installation of Arteria's inner eye power on the body as well as the Magic Core. After the stage was completed after a minute, he began to copy some basic information from his normal vision ability and transport it into Arteria's body.

In the process of implanting normal vision information into Arteria, it is classified as a more complicated process because changing the information so that it is transferred to another person without causing excruciating pain is very difficult. Especially because of the differences in information that exist, influenced by gender and other information arrangements.

Gradually Odo overhauled the basic information of Arteria's vision ability, taking the formula arrangement in the information passageway and replacing it with a copy of her vision information. In the process the pain began to sting Arteria, he felt something was taken and put quickly.

“Tu-Master Odo?” ask Arteria worriedly.

“Sorry, don't open your eyes first.”

Understanding the information about the soul's vision ability including the patent part of the Soul Contract and can not be eliminated, Odo chose an alternative way by doing addition. Rather than overlap and eliminate these abilities, he prefers to focus on instilling normal vision in the right eye to restore his normal vision. For the vision of the soul, he transferred all his abilities to Arteria's left eye.

“Eh?”

When the process was complete, a counter effect emerged and attacked Odo as a form of defense from Arteria's Soul Contract. Odo's consciousness in Arteria's information aisle immediately caught fire, paralyzing all of his nervous system and collapsing into the lap of the blue-haired woman with his head facing down.

Shocked that Odo suddenly laid his head on her lap, the Princess suddenly opened her eyes and said, “Tu-Tuan Odo?! What do you sell⸻?” His words came to a halt, he looked surprised at being able to see the young man on his lap normally.

Wanting to be sure, he immediately looked around. At that second also his face was beaming, looking so happy because he could see again normally. Even though he could still see the soul form in every living thing that existed and seemed to overlap with normal vision, but he could not question it because he felt he had regained the light.

“Master Odo! Lord Odo! Arteria can see again! What exactly are you⸻?!”

Arteria's words came to a halt as she looked back at Odo on the lap. The blood that was seeping to the wet of her dress caused the woman to panic at once, trying to wake the young man up by shaking his body.

“Tu-Master?! You are okay …? Mr Odo?” arteria panicked.

“Eng, no need to worry. I've risen again.” Odo got up on his own and sat back down. Immediately interrupted the large amount of blood coming out of the nose, the young man with black hair said, “Sorry, your dress is so dirty because of the blood.”

At a split second, the blood coming out of his nose instantly returned to the spot. Even the blood seeping on Princess Arteria's dress began to gather at one point, forming a ball of blood and directly into the young man's nose.

“Ta-No need to think about Arteria dresses!” The Princess stared anxiously, she brought her face closer and asked, “Which is more important, you why?”

“I just died. I didn't think that there was some kind of protection and that ability was directly connected to your Soul Contract.” After finishing wiping the blood coming out of the nose, the young man momentarily took a light breath and asked, “Is his vision no problem?”

“Eh?”

Arteria was so stunned, in her mind she felt that Odo was very insensitive to her own condition and did not appreciate the life she had. Although he knew that Odo could rise again from the dead, but it did feel very unnatural for a living creature.

From the young man's gaze, Arteria felt a sense of indifference towards life.

“How? Doesn't matter?” ask Odo again.

With a slight stammer Arteria replied, “I-That's no problem, Arteria could see normally again. Although she can still see the shape of the soul, Arteria feels this better than the vision filled with darkness.”

Hearing such an answer, Odo briefly looked away and began to analyze. He seemed to be thinking about something, showing absolutely no burden even though he had just died. Arteria who saw Odo's expression up close grew more anxious, feeling that the young man could have just kept dying so easily that he could not get up again.

Even so, Arteria did not know what to convey worry to her mind in what form. He felt too foreign to ban Odo, too ignorant to give advice, and too clueless about what the young man actually did to tell him that the way to sacrifice lives was wrong.

Arteria only listened to Odo's explanation of how he restored his normal vision, only answering his question and not daring to express an opinion at all. In his mind he felt very grateful to her, but at the same time fear and anxiety began to grow.

“Arteria, are you listening? Remember, do not tell others that your vision has recovered. If your father or brother finds out, maybe they'll freak out. Keep this a secret until you return to the Capital …. I don't want to be taken advantage of by your dad anyway.”

“Eh?” Arteria came out of the daydream, slightly jolted and seemed confused because she only listened to it until the middle of it. Stared up close by Odo, the woman's blue hair blushed red. He immediately looked away as he said, “Arteria listen to kok.., only part.”

“Hmm ...” Odo moved away while exhaling lightly. Closing both eyes and putting his right palm to his forehead, he looked slightly pale. “So it seems, so this is the world he always sees,” the young man's mind while lowering his hand.

Looking ahead, what Odo saw was a little different. At first glance, nothing changes from normal vision. But when sharpened the look of the eyes, the soul form of the living beings began to look and it looks like a source of heat on them. It is similar to infrared vision, the visuals appear clean and the source of life looks like a small fire incandescent.

In plants, their life energy looks like a very small green flame that radiates widely around the leaves and roots. While in people in the park, it looks like a fire on the left chest and head with different colors depending on individual personality. For low-level spirits flying is also similar, they have varying colors according to attributes.

Looking at the world in a different way, Odo felt dizzy at first glance with the striking color contrast and the existing spectrum. Even though it was night, in his eyes the world seemed so bright that it had to squint.

Hearing the question, Odo turned his head and understood that Arteria was indeed unencumbered by the change in her visual abilities. The young man was at a glance relieved that he did not have to calm the Princess soul in panic. Sensing something different, Princess Arteria again blushed when she was stared at by the young man.

Looking at the face of her prospective fiance carefully, Arteria felt that her face looked so charming that she could not look at him for long. He immediately looked away, sat up straight and put both hands on his lap.

Odo was a little surprised to see that, but he did not think too much about it because it still took time to adjust the vision. “Eng, more or less no problem. Princess Arteria need not worry,” replied the young man while taking the gloves from his pocket. Wearing it back on his right hand and activating passive strengthening magic, he momentarily began to blink a few times to adjust the visual.

“Really?” Arteria was a little doubtful.

Not immediately answering, Odo closed his right eye hand with his left palm and immediately put on Aitisal Almaelumat to reduce the ability of vision. In exchange for the reduction, it improves the focusing ability of the eye to control the vision of the soul.

“Hmm, this is better ...” At first glance, the young man with black hair smiled faintly after he finished making vision adjustments. Looking towards Arteria, he put on a astonished face and asked, “Why is your face flushed, Princess?”

“Eh⸻?! N-No! Arteria did not blush!” The Princess immediately misbehaved.

Seeing this, Odo only gave a small smile. He extended his left hand to Arteria, then gently touched her cheek. “Imut once,” said the young man without deep intention.

Arteria's face turned red and her eyes began to swirl, looking so nervous and immediately getting up from the seat. Turning his gaze away from not daring to look at the young man, the Princess nervously said, “Talk what Mr Odo! Don't tease so dong!”

“Hmm!” Odo put up a thin grin, put a hand to the chin and said, “It turns out the Princess already knows what is tempting.”

“Of course know! Arteria wants to be 12 years old!”

“Eng ...”

Hearing that, Odo immediately lowered his hand from his chin. At first glance he remembered Nanra who was now supposed to be only 11 years old but had performed the ceremony of maturity sooner than one year. Due to the lies the girl had made in front of Mavis and the others while in the shop, Odo told her to attend the maturation ceremony faster using Siska's connections.

Looking straight back at Princess Arteria, in Odo's mind felt a comparison of maturity between them even though the age was not far away. Arteria does look mature and has the gesture of a dignified nobleman, but in her words and ways of thinking she is still like a spoiled child. So naive, gentle, innocent, yet there was a firm impression in him.

Compared to turning around with her, Nanra did seem like a child. But in nature, he can already think more critically of the environment and take concrete actions to change it. That's why the girl thought of following the rebels and the incident at the dock happened.

“What's up, Mr Odo? Why are you dumbass like that?”

“Tak nothing ...” Odo briefly took a light breath, leaning on the bench and glancing at the terrace at a glance as he felt the gaze. Seeing the King standing there with Prince Ryan, the young man with black hair said, “You better get inside right away, Princess. Your father and brother are waiting.”

“Hmm ⁇ ?” Arteria turned to the terrace. When he understood that the one who had called the King was his brother, the face of the woman was immediately visibly upset. He also grumbled, “Kakanda exaggerated, why he always considered Arteria a child.”

“Kakak is like that, don't worry about me and just go there.”

Arteria looked back at Odo in wonder, then with her lips slightly raised she said, “Do you want to be here first? Isn't it better to go inside too?”

“Eng, indeed?”

“Mr Odo one of the core events loh, instead of later others worried if you are not there? Especially Aunt Mavis and Uncle Dart.”

Odo agreed with that. As the Host's son and future fiancee in this event, he indeed had to be in the hall until the welcoming party was over. But feeling there was not much he could do if he was in the hall, Odo still felt he did not want to return.

“If my Dad or Mom asks, just say that I'm resting in the room.” The young man in black hair got up from the bench, stretched his fingers and glimpsed his head towards the King. Looking back at the Princess, she smilingly said, “Please, Arteria.”

“Alright .., will Arteria convey.”

At first glance Arteria was disappointed that Odo was unwilling to go with her to return to the hall. Walking towards the King and Prince, he occasionally turned his head towards the young man and looked like a kitten being chased out of the house.

Odo merely put on a knotty smile, saying nothing as the King and Prince continued to stare at him intently. Looking back at the King, the young man in black hair was surprised to see the shape of the old man's soul. A burning soul radiance, symbolizing such a powerful spirit.

“While he has lost his reason for being a King, he has indeed been still a Leader. The one who had gone through a lot of suffering was indeed different from the others,” Odo's mind as he took a light breath.

Not saying anything to Odo, King Gaiel took his daughter and they returned to the hall. At first glance Odo felt unable to understand the mindset of the old man, despite having used Perception Speculation centrally to estimate his personality.

Taking a light breath, the young man in black hair immediately left the place before the other guests added giving him an uncomfortable look. He stepped onto the terrace, took a different direction and immediately headed to his own room.

In the footsteps, he again remembered there were things that needed to be done. “Hmm, true too. I'd better go there for a while, if Canna is angry can be bothered later,” Odo's mind while putting on a thin smile.

“Hmm, I'd better get changed and pick up some books first from the library.”
