Re:START/If {Book 1.0}
Chapter 60: Aswad 7 of 15 “Un/To See” (Part 02)

Princess Ulla walked over, stood before the young man and offered her right hand forward. Seeing it that close, Odo put on a faint smile at a glance and felt a pulse that felt foreign in the mind. Of all the creatures with a Korwa base he had encountered, only the woman before him showed no signs of craving Odo.

Indeed before the young man felt the characteristic to Princess Ulla, but it was only for a moment. Grabbing the woman's hand of purple hair, Odo channeled information about all the things that Princess Ulla had to do later after returning to the kingdom of Moloia. All the information flowed like a calm current, so deep and made the woman's body experience a hallucination as if drowning into a trough in the middle of the sea.

When the information transfer process was completed and Odo lifted his hand from Princess Ulla's palm, the woman was awakened with cold sweat pouring out. His body trembled, feeling how terrifying it was to be immersed in a sea of information.

“You all right? Your face is pale, loh.”

“So it feels like drowning in the middle of the sea ..., without a handle and both hands and feet chained.”

“Hmm, it turns out you also took such a parable.”

Odo briefly looked away, looked towards the ship that had been destroyed next door and sighed lightly. After getting the Activation Factor, the young man could feel the objects that were under the supervision of the Mahia System. One of them was a magic reactor that had been damaged there.

Looking back at Princess Ulla, the young man with black hair made sure, “Padalah had been adjusted first so that your body is not burdened, you know. Besides the sensation of drowning, there are no other side effects, ‘kan?”

“I believe there is no ...” Princess Ulla immediately wiped the cold sweat with her camouflage robe, put on a small smile and said, “Tadi is indeed just a little surprising. Not myself this thought the sea of information as scary as that.”

“So, yes?” Odo turned around, stepped his foot away and said, “My business here is done, you return to the kingdom of Moloia and make my plans. Finish that up in the fall, and then we'll start the second phase. Most likely I will also drag people from the empire, so try not to bring personal grudges ..”

Hearing those words, Princess Ulla put on a somber expression. When she was still as Or’iama and had not yet gained the status of a King Consort, the long-term war against the Urzia empire brought quite a bad memory for her. Hearing Odo warn her not to bring personal business, Princess Ulla felt that the young man seemed to be able to see the contents of someone's heart.

Not paying attention to the expression of the Princess, Odo closed his right ear and briefly closed his eyes as he muttered, “Elulu? How's things going in there? Uwah~ I thought mom panicked, yeah. Then, according to plan, just tell Arca to activate his power, if Matthew picks me up Fiola and mom can come here. Oh, yes .... If you can, stop them both if you want to go from there! Mother and Sister Fiola are still in the store, ‘ right? Hmm, please do ...”

Princess Ulla was astonished to see the young man talking to himself, she walked over and patted him on the shoulder from behind asking, “Can you telepathically?”

“Eng?” Odo turned around, put on an astonished expression and said, “Kilos more can.”

Such a half-and-a-half reply slightly irritated Princess Ulla, her pouting face clearly showing that. Staring intently at the young man's eyes, he waited for him to explain with whom he was speaking.

“Oh, yes!” As if he was deliberately ignoring this, Odo raised his index finger with an expression of remembering something. Pointing towards the four Fairy Soldiers who were still lying on the cold iron floor, the black-haired youth said, “When those Fairy Soldiers woke up, please don't talk about me. Just make a small lie so they don't know what really happened ...”

“Eh?” Princess Ulla's curiosity switched according to the young man's wishes. Closer to the face to make Odo step back, the purple hair woman firmly asked, “Why is it?”

“Yah ...” Odo looked away, took a heavy breath and explained, “If you say my name in front of them, it is certain that the four women will shiver in fear of death.” The young man stared intently, putting his palm over the head of the Princess as he again said, “The world of fog, that endless hell is a place to torture and make people regret their sins. Normally every soul brought to that place would be broken, then destroyed until it was left. To cover up the effects of their agonizing visit to that realm, I slightly manipulated them.”

Princess Ulla did not understand the concept of what kind of Mist World called Odo, but she clearly understood what she had done for Laura and the others. Raising her face and looking straight at the young man's eyes, Princess Ulla asked, “You put yourself into their memories? To be a figure made a scapegoat?”

At first glance Odo was surprised to hear that, put on a fake knot smile and immediately raised his right hand from above the head of Princess Ulla. Taking a deep breath and holding his chin, with the intention of lowering his annoyance he said, “Living beings tend to believe what they want to believe. When what they see and remember is something that is not expected, by itself they will create the illusion to protect something fragile in their minds.

“Why are you doing something like this?”

The purple haired woman stared in astonishment, the more confused Odo Luke was what kind of young man he was. When he met her clearly an aura of hatred and anger emanated strongly from her, but in just a few hours it all disappeared and even now the young man before him looked like a different person.

Putting the right palm to the front of the chest, Princess Ulla resolutely asked, “Don't you hate us for attacking the city of Mylta? You also looked very angry at me! Wrap it out and say I want to make myself your slave! However ...” The purple haired woman lowered her grim face, full of anxiety and said, “What are you doing now .. is truly incomprehensible.”

What Princess Ulla said was indeed very natural, Odo too quickly filled his mood. But for the young man himself, the change is inevitable. When he used Perception Speculation, Odo had similar conversations many times more than Princess Ulla knew. Although it was only a perception in the young man's head, but indeed all of it could definitely erase the anger and hatred that was in the mind.

Princess Ulla flinched, starting to get prejudiced about the reason Odo was being a little gentle with her. In the vicinity of the corvette were the corpses of the Moloians, victims of internal conflicts due to the dissent caused by the young man's advice to Laura and the other Fairy Soldiers.

Stop putting hands to the front of the chest and staring intently at the young man, Princess Ulla clearly offended, “Can I call this your thought naive?”

“From your point of view this looks naive, huh?” Odo briefly put up a little grin, laughed at himself in the heart and did not expect to be called that by others. “Hmmm ...” Scratching the back of the head with his right hand, the young man lightly said, “I think you were right about that. However, just so you know, I just still want to dream ...”

“Dreams?” Those words that sounded so naive made Princess Ulla stare in annoyance.

“Ya ..” Odo pointed at Princess Ulla's forehead and touched the white Basque symbol that was still visible to her, then with a small grin asked, “During this, what's underlying you keep fighting hard? What makes you willing to sacrifice and keep going?”

“It ...” Princess Ulla stepped back, holding her own forehead and disabling the Activation Factor. By the time the Basque symbol on his forehead had disappeared, the similar symbol on Odo's forehead had also disappeared. Gazing at the young man with black hair, Princess Ulla hesitantly replied, “I am a researcher, as long as I can find new things and get closer to the Beginning of the Beginning, I will be able to see, that's enough for me this.”

“Then now?” ask Odo in a little grin.

Princess Ulla flinched, momentarily silent and thinking about it. Actually he wanted to immediately answer that his desire had not changed at all, but the feeling in his mind made him rethink the answer seriously. Putting his hands to his chest and bowing his face, in a soft voice he said, “Now I hope to bring happiness to my daughter. He still does not feel the life like a child in general. I want him to be able to proudly smile loosely ..”

“So, yes. Maternal properties ...”

“Materal? Hmm, I feel like it.” Princess Ulla raised her face, then curiously asked, “If you? What keeps you trying? What makes you keep moving forward and become as strong as you are now? What do you want to achieve?”

In Odo's heart grinned widely, feeling he had made a good conversation and manipulated Princess Ulla's perspective. All the talk he did was a drama, a mere falsehood for the sake of being able to herd the purple hair woman to follow his will. Odo fully understood that Princess Ulla could have been betrayed if only relying on sheer coercion, therefore she acted like a wise man and made the woman open from the bottom of her heart.

Full of lies that do not appear at all to the surface, the young man replied, “I am afraid to feel the simple daily life, too lazy to not change and remain the same as yesterday. Most people when getting happiness will think to maintain it, even though it means having to stay still and throw away dreams. When they find someone who is protected, they will think, ‘Ah, for her sake I am willing to do anything’, or something like that. However, I was too scared to do that.”

“Do you want to throw everything away and live a normal life?” princess Ulla asked with a puzzled look.

“Not, that's not what I mean.” Odo shook his head, put his right hand to the front of his chest and again said, “I just want to spend time with them, a little laugh, a little fight, mutual worry, longing, scolded and scolded.”

In his words, Odo accidentally mixed his heart into a lie. It was really felt by the young man, wanting to spend the same time with the people he cared about. Breathing in and putting on a warm smile, Odo Luke again said, “The complicated days that exist make me feel more alive, the problems that stretch me keep thinking and out of laziness. You know, I want to be able to proudly say it in the future, ‘I live by my own will! I'm proud of this life!’ with airy chest, full of relief without the slightest shame.”

The lies and the truth are mixed up, spoken from his mouth without anyone knowing the difference. Not thinking it was genuine from the bottom of Odo's heart or not, for Princess Ulla the words sounded so noble and felt that indeed it was the true nature of the creature called “Human”. In the chest of Princess Ulla felt something warm, as if seeing something that was not on her and began to crave it.

“Indeed to sound naive ...” The woman gave a small smile, wanting to make Odo give up and said, “You should know, what you expect is freedom. You should also understand that freedom and peace are not something that can be obtained at the same time. When you gain freedom, the sea of conflict will be waiting for you. Especially with the complicated rear floor you have ...”

Folding both his hands to the waist, confidently Odo smiled and said, “Although so we must continue to step forward, right? Despite contradictions, uncertainties and obstacles. As long as we live and believe in the future, the choice of retreat no longer exists.” Opening the palm of the right hand and clenching it tightly, the young man grinned excitedly and said, “Stop and die with regret, that's all I have in my palm.”

To Princess Ulla it sounded like a destructive desire, a short, self-destructive desire without considering its effects in the future. Even so, the spirit seen in Odo's eyes looked real. Like a fire on a log that will be extinguished, it feels so warm in a world that continues to rise cloudy.

“At what end do you believe that, what do you want to see?” Princess Ulla asked, taking a step back as if and no longer caring for Odo's answer. For him, the decision had been taken in his deepest mind to truly support the young man's cause.

Seeing this, Odo slightly tilted his head and replied, “To realize the truth I know. I want this world to return to its proper form, which is why this soul and body exist in this world.” The young man turned around, immediately stepped back and began to open his right palm. Spitting in his own palm, he made a connection with the power of The Ritman Library owned by Arca who is now in the city of Mylta.

Spit on his palm shining, began to create a small notebook with an ivory white cover. Holding the note with both hands, Odo again grinned. “See you in the fall,” he said as he tore up the note and directly accessed the dimensions of The Ritman Library.
