Chapter 20: Einerseits Obst 2 of 4 (Part 02)
“Bwah!” Julia pulled out her face that was embedded in the snow. Looking up with a cold flushed face, He said, “A-What are you doing anyway!? Not the time to joke!”
“I know ...” Odo quickly picked up Julia's dagger, which was placed on a circular belt on her thigh, then, as quickly as lightning threw it towards one of the monsters that jumped from the top of one of the trees and was about to puncture the silvery-haired girl.
The dagger that was thrown right hit the head of the Goblin that had signs of physical mutations in the body like sharp bones sticking out ahead of both fights over the monster. Realizing that the Goblin was a monster that had entered an early stage mutation, Odo quickly held onto Julia's collar and pulled her back. The goblin whose head was pierced by a dagger was not dead yet, the mutation mark also meant that their bodies were stronger than the like so the weapon Odo threw could not penetrate the green dwarf monster's skull.
The goblin that had sharp bones sticking out like ivory attacked Odo with a weapon that fused with his body. Using enhanced reflexes, the black-haired boy caught the blunt parts of those two pointy bones, he said, then in a matter of less than one second directly use strengthening magic to maintain the position of the legs when on foot and withstand the power of the Goblin attack.
Gritting his teeth, Odo put on an angry face until his lips widened to the cheek, and quickly instantly increased the magic aura to envelop his body with lightning. “Blitz ...” Within the range of his two hands, Odo spread lightning forward and shocked the Goblin. The green creature instantly scorched and fell backwards.
The action finished with that quick attack, Odo immediately landed a hard kick on the face of the unconscious Goblin while shouting, “Why Goblin is just FUCKING!!!” the dwarf monster's body floated bounced and crashed into four of its kind that were also about to attack. Before the five monsters fell to the surface, Odo focused the Mana thunderstorm on top of his right palm and manipulated its shape into an abstract arc.
“HAA!” Using electromagnetic momentum, the lightning arc shot out and struck at one of the Goblin's bodies that floated above the air and exploded. Their charred flesh splattered and scattered in various directions. Some were splashed onto the boy's face and the coat jacket Julia was wearing.
Everyone in that place did not worry about Odo's actions because there was no time to protest, it was also included for Julia. That Goblin attack was only the beginning of the assault of dozens of monsters that had surrounded them from various directions. Like a herd of apes, the Goblins have a foot shape that can maximize stepping, and both of their hands can be used to hang and have bone body parts sticking out like horns that can be used as weapons.
The Goblins that entered into the form of crew stage mutations were not very strong when compared to the abilities of the Shieal, but in terms of numbers they were outnumbered. The number of Goblins was truly over fifty and kept coming more and more. The hot wind blows Julia pushed back and made the snow in a wider radius instantly melt. Within a radius of more than one kilometer, the temperature was noticeably warmed to the point of summer. Automatically the attention of most of the Goblins was directed at the little boy who ran out of the circular defense formation.
One of the Goblins attacked first towards Odo. Grinning darkly for having predicted all the movements in that place using vibration sensor magic, the black-haired boy stopped running after moving a few meters away from the formation. He spread his hands to the side with his palms open. In a quick process, magic structures are formed and Auto Senses assisted calculations are completed in less than two seconds.
“Blitz ..., Decke.”
Lightning instantly snatched out from his body in various directions and knocked down several Goblins that leaped towards him from above the tree branch. The charred bodies of those green creatures fell down like worthless charred meat. Seeing what Odo was doing, Gariadin was shocked and his concentration was disturbed. One of the goblins who was after him attacked and targeted the dark red-haired man's neck. Before the pointy bone sticking out of the Goblin's arm pierced through his neck, Xua Lin punched the Goblin using the Qi Gong technique, a martial technique that combined breathing with a fist of deep power.
Bruaks! The Goblin's skull was crushed and its body was slammed far away until it hit one of the trees around the place. “Do not let your guard down!” xua Lin said as he adjusted his breathing and went back to beating the monsters that attacked using metal gauntlet-lined fists.
“Sorry!”
Gariadin raised his spear and joined in attacking the Goblins that were falling from the trees and attacking incessantly. In a circle formation that serves to protect the blind spot of each member in the formation, the Shieal survive the attacks of the monsters.
In the formation, Julia could not leave her role even though she felt anxious because her master ran out of one of the group fighting defense techniques used. The Demi-human girl realized that if she came out, very quickly the formation would be destroyed by the number of Goblins attacking.
Aware the Shieal were overwhelmed by the Goblins as if there was no stop coming, Odo again increased his terrifying aura to attract the attention of the dwarf monsters. But it had a very bad effect and exceeded the estimate, all the monsters in that place had their attention immediately turned to the black-haired boy and were directly after him. Worse than that, the group of non-mutated Goblins that had just come straight set Odo as their target.
“Ah ..., this .. why ... MUST GOBLIN ONLY!!”
Julia and the Shieals who were also preoccupied by the endless Goblins saw the occasional blue lightning strike coming out from the direction of Odo who was mobbed by more monsters than them. Intending to help the black-haired child, but they were completely unable to take off the formation and move from the spot due to the endless attacks of the Goblins.
Odo jumps up and makes one of the attacking Goblins a foothold, then again jump using another Goblin in the air as a foothold until it gets enough height to avoid the herd of monsters that continue to arrive.
While in the air, the black-haired boy shouted as loudly as he could, “Mbak Julia!! We split up first!! Get together again if everything is in order where Drake is parked!!” Hearing the loud voice of the black-haired child hovering several meters in the air, the attention of the Shieal and monsters instantly directed towards him as a whole.
Returning the terrifying aura to lure the monsters, Odo quickly made a magic circle as a massage and turned it into a throwing magic circle to dart away from the place, lure the Goblins whose numbers have reached hundreds away from the Shieal.
When he had kept a considerable distance by going deeper into the hutam, Odo stopped above one of the tree branches after using continuous throwing magic to move in the air through the trees. Looking down there were still many Goblins chasing and in parallel visibility there were still many mutated Goblins jumping around like apes towards him, Odo dropped his body down and went straight to one of the Goblins who was about to climb a tree.
“Mati!” The black-haired child kicked with his knees and snapped the green creature's mouth. But in a split second, his ilk instantly pounced towards Odo from various directions like a starving beast.
“Blitz!” Lightning snatched towards the direction of Odo's body and burned all the Goblins that attacked him. Gaining a foothold on the surface of the snow, the black-haired boy spun with his right foot as a pedestal and immediately shot away using thrower magic to avoid the siege of the green creatures that were chasing him tenaciously.
“Akh ..., it feels down rank .... From Dragon Slayer to Goblin Slayer .... Not funny! Why are so many people failing to hibernate the monsters!!? Did they wake up because of me!!”
With a sigh of his own, Odo continued to use throwing magic to get away from them and occasionally counterattacked to reduce the number of green creatures chasing him. But as endless, Odo was kept away from the Shieals for more than five hours until the number of Goblins completely stopped coming.

At night where the winter sky still looks bright with dark blue light decorated with bright light grains, Odo stands in the middle of a pile of corpses near the river around the Pando Forest Core. The bodies of the Goblins were piled up as if they were opening, the red blood flowing like a river that was the wrong season when the snow fell, and among all it was seen some charred Tarasque corpses like they were struck by lightning.
Stepping with a limp body, Odo leaned against one of the trunks of the pando tree and momentarily took a breath to calm down after fighting for more than seven hours. He slowly fell limp down, leaning back against the tree. All over the body of the child was a wound that could not even be healed with Instant Regen magic because his Mana was completely depleted and the magic circuit in his body was too burdened due to overuse of deep magic short-time.
The child with a blood-soaked shirt and tattered pants looked ahead with a blurry look, then smirked faintly at the sight of all the monsters he had defeated, as if satisfied with what he had done. Exhaling and making white steam soar low in the air, the boy looked up and looked towards the very bright night sky.
“Completed also ..... I guess their respawn is endless. Damn ..., akh .... It felt like this was more of a para than when the Black Dragon opponent. Is it because I was helped by Reyeah? Ah ..., let.”
For a moment to close his eyes, suddenly a strange existence appeared and forced Odo back on guard. He opened his eyes wide, looking ahead with a slightly blurry vision. Just outside the expanse full of monster corpses near the frozen river where she was, was seen the figure of a long blonde woman standing upright looking at her.
Odo jolted in surprise, opened his eyes wide and tried to sit up. But because his body was too limp, he leaned back on the tree and sighed fretfully. The moment between them was a silence without words and sounds, as if the world had completely left them alone without the slightest interruption, staring at each other between the glare of red eyes.
One time Odo blinked and thought for a moment. Upon reopening his eyes, the woman wearing a long dark-colored robe was long until the ankles had stood before him. Odo wanted to scream in shock, but his body was too limp to do that. Taking a deep breath, the boy gradually began to close his eyes.
“Who are you?” ask the boy while opening his eyes again limply.
Not answering the question, the woman crouched down before Odo and placed her right palm over his face. Sensing a strange thing, slowly the black-haired boy's consciousness disappeared and very quickly his blurry vision blackened.
