Chapter 7: Dryad of the Sacred Tree (Part 02)

Odo opened his eyes, finding himself waking up in a place with a wooden ceiling that looked very high. As he slowly regained consciousness, he was immediately shocked to see the corpses of soldiers wearing the Felixia Kingdom armor hanging up there, on their chests and mouths were connected a root that sucked up their life force and made them dry like skinny cattle without meat. Trying not to scream and remain calm, Odo took a deep breath and analyzed the situation.

The ceiling above there looks increasingly narrowed, and at the top of the shoot forms a hexagram-shaped taper. With a wooden wall that has a round crystal chandelier decoration as well as natural carving decorations of wood patterns, the entire wall in the place seemed to emit a powerful mystical aura. Looking at all that, Odo could not at all predict where he was now.

The boy moved his index finger to check that he was not paralyzed as before. “I think the effect is gone. But ..., why am I still alive? Is this the illusion ..?” thought Odo while waking up and sitting on his place lying down. He looked around again, the place where he lay was a soft bed made of a series of roots and flowers. While observing the surroundings of the place, as far as his eyes were concerned there was only a room that was almost completely made of wood, and some other construction of the place was a light crystal that emitted a magic pressure that felt strange to him.

“What is this Log House? If yes .., why every corner there is no connection .... This whole place ...”

The space where it is located really consists of a single piece of wood, without nails or adhesive that holds it together, even existing furniture such as chairs and tables are completely fused with the floor and without joints.

Odo examined himself, now he was still wearing the same clothes as before but on the left abdomen was broken and the Dimensional Cloak was absent. While searching around, he still did not find his belongings.

“Actually what happened? It feels too real to be called Illusion ..”

As the black-haired child stood up and left the flower bed, a glare light emanated from the wooden floor of the room before him. From that radiant floor, began to appear the figure of Dryad who had previously defeated him.

Odo quickly opened his right palm forward, then channeled his Mana and changed his nature into lightning quickly. When Dryad's figure appeared completely and just stared blankly, Odo remained silent and did not attack. Subconsciously the black-haired boy was still hesitant to fight against him with the current conditions. Observing that the wound on the Great Spirit's body before him was gone, Odo breathed a sigh of relief mixed with suspicion.

“What do you want? Is this your illusion or another tactic?” asked Odo while still preparing his lightning magic to attack him at any time.

“Padahal just woke up , but you are already excited ..., O son of man ...” The dryad smiled amiably. “Originally you know .., this is real, not an illusion .... It was me who invited you into this sacred place and healed your wounds. At least show your gratitude, son of man,” he continued in a flat tone.

Dryad Reyah walked over to Odo. Seeing the mature form of the Great Spirit that approached with no clothes covering his body, Odo briefly looked away with a reddened face. When it got in front of him, Dryad stood up with a smile that seemed proud of himself. Looks flat, but feels so haughty and looks up to himself.

“Basic bujang weathered ..”

“A!!”

The dryad moved quickly and approached, holding the black-haired boy's right arm extended forward, then entering into a distance where he could hug the child. Odo was surprised, but he was surprised when the Dryad suddenly kissed his lips. Without being able to dodge, Odo's head was held by the Dryad, then pushed closer. The dryad is hotter to smell it, between the mouth and the mouth is connected to each other. Using his tongue that felt extremely rough, the Dryad made Odo swallow something like ore. As the Great Spirit stopped kissing her and released Odo, the saliva and viscous liquid formed a thin thread that connected their mouths for a moment.

Having such a kiss, Odo strangely felt nothing and his mind turned calmer than before. It was not because of the ore-like thing that entered his body or something that Dryad had done before him, the calm feeling he had now was almost like when he was fighting Giftmelata, he said, a calmness and a feeling of emptiness was like a puddle of water without ripples.

“What do you mean ..., Spirit?” asked Odo with a pressing tone. He rubbed saliva on his mouth, then spat to the side without thinking about Dryad in front of him.

“Mean? What does it take to give someone a kiss? You know, I'm Dryad. It's natural for sexuality like this to rasku.”

The answer that came out of the Dryad felt like hiding something, Odo was very understanding because it was not the first time the Great Spirit answered in such a way.

“What is the intention of this creature? Why the answer is always ...” Odo straightened his body and placed the right palm in front of his own chest. The heartbeat felt, very clear and calm, like the melody of a very strong and undaunted life.

“What do you want, Reyah the Dryad of the Holy Tree?” asked Odo while looking intently at the creature before him. Dryad did not flinch from that look, he kept a calm face with his mouth slightly open and looked proud of himself.

“Ingin know ..?” ask Reyeah. The dryad walked closer, then looked down at Odo. Because of their height difference, Odo had to look up at the sight of his face.

“Town .... Get me out of this place, and give me what the soldiers above want,” Odo said flatly.

“Soldiers on top?” Reyah looked up and saw the soldiers of Felixia Kingdom who were hanging and connected to where they were. “Ah, you mean the food supplies that I kept, yes?” continue Reyah with a flat tone. He looked back at Odo, then smiled regardless of the opinion of the child in front of him who also came from the race he considered as food.

“Do you do it?” ask Odo.

“Of course, who else? This Sacred Tree is my place.”

“Holy Tree?”

“Ya ..., this place ..., now we are inside the Sacred Tree. You are unconscious?”

That answer dispelled one of his curiosity, but at the same time Odo began to think of various ways to go and snatch the Tears of the Sacred Tree that the Dryad had said before.

“I don't think you need to think about unnecessary things, O son of the Sword Expert and the Light Witch.”

“Hmm?” Dryad's words surprised Odo. His calm face slightly turned frantic and a sense of ignorance made the black-haired child a little anxious.

“My spirit is the Dryad of the Sacred Tree ..., I am directly at the level of a God while in this place. You think ... can hide something from me, short-lived creature?”

Reyah took three steps back, then turned around and stood his back to Odo. With a sharp look, he glanced at Odo sharply while saying, “What's it like to start your new life in your new family now?”

“!!!”

The question instantly made the doubt over his estimate certain. With a sharp gaze and teeth tightened, the black-haired boy asked a question Reiah had not expected.

“What are you ..., also transferred to this world?”

Reyah turned around and faced Odo with an expression of disbelief, looking like she had heard something funny. Without answering the black-haired boy's question, Reiah just smiled a little.

“Hem, just think of it like that ..” Reyah pointed at Odo, then moved his index finger upwards. Suddenly from inside Odo's stomach churned something, moving through the intestines, the windpipe, came out of his mouth and made the boy spit out something like tiny green crystals. The crystal floated close to Reyah's lips, then swallowed the Dryad quickly.

“Let's relax, it's just a crystal that speeds up your healing,” Reyeah said as she rubbed her own mouth. “I see a quote for you, O son of man ...” He stared flat at Odo, then slightly tilted his head to the right.

“What offer ...? A creature like you can be diaja⸻”

“Can! Of course you can. Just so you know, those Great Spirits have intelligence hundreds of times higher than humans .... Don't underestimate me, son of man.” Reyah's gaze turned sharp, her green eyes were like sharp twigs that could pierce the chest easily.

“I can't believe it. You attacked me, killed my father's soldiers .... Do you think I have a reason to trust you?”

“Crue .... But, as long as you know, it is beyond my will. They came rioting, it was only natural that they would kill me. Moreover ..., because of their actions ..., the balance of this forest is so chaotic.”

“You ...?”

“Ya ..., messed up. They ravaged the forest just by moving around in large numbers, making the Low to Upper Level Spirits restless, and to their horror again ignited the anger of the creature again.”.

Odo raised his eyebrows in confusion. “That creature ..?” tanyakanya.

“Black Dragon ..., Fire Lord Fires.”

The answer was a little telling of the offer Reiah wanted to give her. With a lazy look, Odo slightly turned his face and sighed.

“Dad ..., at least you should try to respect the environment. You must have damaged the grass and shrubs to make way, right?” think Odo.

“So ..., what offer do you want to give?” asked Odo with a flat look at the creature in front of him.

“Padal already know but keep asking, that's a bad habit you know .... Well, instead of me hating it, hell.” Reyah smiled happily as she spread her hands to the side and straightened her head.

“Then ..., Bunulah Black Dragon, then will myself be⸻”

“That's impossible.”

“Eh ..?”

“It's obviously impossible. You think a monster that even a few battalions of warriors cannot defeat can be defeated by me? Crazy base ...”

“Pa-At least listen to this saying of myself until it is finished ...”

Reyah put on an annoyed expression that was very rarely seen to her. After taking a deep breath, the Dryad said, “He is in a weakened state after the battle, even weaker than me now.”

“Weak ...? Is it because of the soldiers?”

“Possibility, Yes. Therefore, before the dragon recovers and rampages in my forest, I want to get rid of it immediately. As long as you know, the dragon people should not be near the forest and live on land further away in this Astral World. Moreover, the Ancient Dragon from the time of the war of the gods and demons like him, should he be sound asleep at the end of the world ..”.

“I don't care the reason the creature can be in this Astral World, the point is he can now be killed, yes,’kan?”

“Hmm, he can be killed. If with the plan I made and help⸻”

“Good ...”

“Eh ..”

“I'll kill him. From the beginning, my goal was already like that ..”

“E-You are indeed strange ..., really.”

Rey really does not believe that the child in front of him really agrees with his offer easily. Astonishingly, the Dryad began to be unable to read the basic thought and thought flow of children in front of him.

After sighing lightly, Reyah pointed upwards and averaged, “Lower.” From above, the roots began to descend carrying the Dimensional Cloak, Magic Dagger, and even the Key Spear that came out from within the wooden wall of the place. Seeing all of that pinned on the floor before him, Odo was completely shocked and forgot about the Key Spear that disappeared the first time he came to the Astral World.

Odo had a flat expression. He started to bend down and took out the Key Spear first. When he saw the black-haired boy's stiff behavior, Reyah also put on a flat expression.

“You forgot that, huh?” ask Reyah. Odo flinched, then turned his face away after standing up. By holding the Key Spear in his right hand, the black-haired child was completely reluctant to look at Reiah's face.

“Hu~hu~ It turns out you are dazed too, yes. Cute ...”

“You're silent ..”

Odo took the Dimensional Cloak, then inserted the Key Spear and the Magic Dagger into the storage dimension of the robe, the two runes on the cloth blackened. After putting his robe back on, Odo stared intently at Reiah.

“Yes, although there are still many doubts and questions for him, but I guess I do need some other information about the Astral World. This place ..., it feels very different to what I know from the book .... Moreover ..., himself ..., this Dryad knows that I am a reincarnated person .... Let's just hope she wasn't like the woman of the time who suddenly hacked me with an axe ..”
