Chapter 49: Mutual-Evit 9 of 10 “Has been taken” (Part 04)

The sun began to rise, its rays entering through the window with brown curtains opened. Despite nearly five hours of discussion, an agreement on all existing plans still could not be taken and there was dissatisfaction seen on the faces of some people. They all look sleepy, except Vil. Even so none of them lowered the demands, continued to hold onto the idea and defend it with refutations.

“Why should the prostitution district be developed? They're pests! If developed instead of worsening the condition of the city?” Iitla. Although his eye bags were blackened, the shoulder-length blonde man still put on an annoyed face full of energy and firmly said, “If there is indeed funds, it is better that everything be channeled to the military! Don't we want to make this city a front-line fortress?”

“Mr Odo added that into the plan there must be a reason,” said Aprilo. He also looked at Vil who had conveyed the rough details of the development of the Bordil House District, then with a limp face the executive man asked, “Yang more strange, why also need to include illegal immigrants to his own company? I understand they're cheaper, but still illegal immigrants are a danger! They could destroy Mr Odo's own company and ruin all his plans!”

In the room only those who completely refute the two components of the plan. Vil can't explain, neither can the Rein Statue. They are indeed notified of the details of the existing plan and get a package of information about it, but in the two components it is seen from any angle does contain more risk than profit.

“Sorry, I also do not know,” said Vil while putting parchment paper on a pile of documents. He stared at Iitla and Aprilo in turn, then with a flat gaze again said, “This is the plan that Odo made, there must be a clear reason.”

“What is it for to develop prostitution?! They're pests!!” Iitla. The sound was so loud bouncy in the room, even the people in the barracks who had already woken up and were outside the room were jolted when they heard the loud sound.

“Tch!”

Odo opened his eyes, put on an annoyed face and his forehead furrowed until his two eyebrows almost fused to the middle. Immediately lowering his feet to the floor and sitting down, he stared straight at the three people sitting on the sofa. The young man of black hair with a raspy atmosphere reprimanded, “Whisper once you guys ...”

Those who were in the room instantly fell silent when they found out Odo was in a bad mood. But in that silent atmosphere, suddenly the light that filled the place solidified into particles and then began to float up Odo's head and form a halo above his head.

Everyone was shocked and at a glance their perception caught that the halo was similar to that of an angel, a divine symbol of the servants of the Gods. Before anyone asked, Odo held the halo and slammed it on the floor until it broke.

Crangs!

It shattered like glass, then turned back into light particles and decomposed until invisible. Those who saw it were petrified, completely clueless as to why an angel-owned halo could appear above the young man's head so easily.

“Akh ..” Odo covered his face with both hands, then lowered his head and muttered, “The damn dragon actually took it again. Sure enough, my humanity could run out if he took it on like this. Time it's Proud nature, now he also takes Greed ..”

The murmur was heard by everyone in the room, but none of them understood what the young man was talking about. Vil was a little anxious, the blue-haired woman reached out her right hand towards the young man and was about to touch his forehead.

“Odo, are you okay?”

“Hmm.” The young man nodded, grabbing the hand of the blue-haired woman who got up to the table because he was so anxious. Stop covering his face, Odo put on a thin smile that seemed hollow and said, “I'm fine .... Looks like you guys started it right away without me, huh?”

Odo let go of the hand of the Great Spirit, letting him sit down again. While nodding Vil said, “Minda and Imania return to the Mansion, so most likely we don't have much time.”

“I understand ...” Odo stared at Aprilo and observed, then immediately looked back and leaned back against the sofa to see Iitla standing behind her couch. Looking back ahead and gazing towards the documents on the table, the young man in black hair immediately understood where the conversation was going.

While nodding lightly, the bare-chested young man said, “Kendala on the part of the District of the House of Bordil and the income of illegal immigrants into the HR that I will be processing, yes?”

Everyone was shocked as the young man in black hair could immediately understand the situation, except for Vil who only had a flat expression. Arca stared intently at the young man who had just woken up, then with an elevated volume she asked, “You! Can you tell just by looking at this room, Odo?!”

“Do not shout, all my senses are sensitive.”

Odo held his head with his bare hands, immediately looked towards Arca and nodded lightly to have the young man from the Rein family pick up the parchment containing the data on the topic of unfinished conversation. Receiving the parchment from Arca with his left hand, the young man of black hair slightly shifted and said, “Master Iitla, sit down.”

“Eh?” At first glance the Warrior Head was confused, but in the end he walked to the front of the sofa and sat down next to Odo.

The young man in black hair momentarily fell silent, looking at the parchment he had received from the statue earlier. The curious Iitla took a peek at what the young man was looking at, he was immediately surprised to find out that the paper Odo held contained only one sentence array and it contained words that looked very random.

“Why ... the data is just that?” ask Iitla.

“This code,” replied Odo while putting the parchment paper on the table.

Aprilo who saw it was surprised because the data contained in the parchment paper was only one line of sentence, he said, starting to get confused from where Arca and Vil explain the details of the existing plan about the development of the District of the House of Bordil and the income of illegal immigrants for HR. The executive began to suppose that Vil and Arca were making up the matter of the contents of the plan in the name of Odo Luke.

When Aprilo was about to ask that question, Odo had looked at him first and said, “They are not bragging, that's my plan.”

“A—!” Aprilo is a bit open-minded and thinks that Odo can also use mind-reading magic just like his personal Butler, Igra Meio.

Disregarding that expression, Odo again put on a flat expression and lowered his head. He had since thought of something, then sighed and raised his face again. In a limp tone he asked, “So, what made Mr Iitla and Mr Aprilo dissatisfied with my plan? Let's talk about it and find the midpoint.”

The two so-called men were slightly jolted, their breathing momentarily felt tight and anxious because the youngster could actually read the atmosphere and groove that existed despite just waking up.

Iitla turned to look at Odo next to her, then clearly asked, “What is the Bordil House District for? There the center of prostitution, disgrace and depravity! We and the Religious have always wanted to clean up the place for being a criminal center, but why would you want to develop it?” Iitla frowned, stared intently and once again confirmed, “It is better to just use the funds for military power! You want to build this city as a front-line fortress, don't you?”

Odo leaned his body against the sofa, looked up slightly and had a flat expression. He looked at the Warrior Chief, then limply said, “I really want to build this city as the front line of Luke's territory. But ... that place is very important, I need it.”

“For what?”

“Moral improvement and mental improvement.”

The answer was not understood by anyone in the room, not even Vil. A little astonished at the contradictory sentence, as the Deputy Mayor, Wiskel Porka from behind the desk asked, “Why can prostitution lead to moral improvement? Not even that it corrupts morals with depravity?”

Odo glanced at the old man, then asked, “Do you not consider the people who live there as residents of Mylta?”

It made Wiskel flinch, the voice seemed unable to come out and he felt guilty as a leader because of the fact sentence. The old man just lowered his face and quietly said, “I'm sorry .... That's true too .... Even though they were like that, the people living in the Bordil House District remained residents of the city and there were many people there who had the mark of a resident of the kingdom of Felixia.”

Lisia was surprised when Wiskel lowered such a face and admitted such a mistake. The redhead woman sitting next to the Vil looked at Odo, then curiously asked, “What does moral improvement have to do with the Prostitution District?”

“Ma-Sorry ...” The red-haired woman lowered her face.

Sighing and gazing towards Iitla, Odo clearly said, “So Mr. Iitla most refuted this part of the plan, right? Then I'll explain.”

“Hmm!” The Head Warrior nodded slightly annoyed, then defiantly said, “Try explaining why!”

Odo stopped looking at him, turned his head forward and lowered his head. With a slightly hoarse atmosphere he explained, “The reason is very simple, the place is very necessary for the needs of the men in this city. No more excuses, what I want to do is just for a moral reform and improvement.”

Iitla looked confused hearing that, as did the others. They don't really understand what Odo really wants to say. At first glance, Arca realized something and joined the conversation, “What kind of improvement? What do men need from that place?”

“Ah ..” Odo sighed lightly and raised his face, looking at the moving people in the room and feeling astonished to see the confused expressions of the men in the place because no one understood the implicit sentence that was thrown. Gazing towards Iitla, Odo chose to be frank and said, “Master Iiltla also often comes to the place, right?”

“A—?!”

Iitla was immediately shocked. Lisia immediately looked towards her uncle and gave a slightly disgusted look. The Chief Warrior wanted to refute this and clear his good name, but he immediately stopped before speaking because he understood Odo would immediately expose his lies. The blond man on his shoulder could only turn his face away, not answering as a sign of him admitting it.

“Not to be ashamed, I have also come to that place.”

“Eh!!?” Lisia was startled and moved to look towards Odo. The merchants, the Deputy Mayor, and the Arca were also surprised because of this. They did not expect it and stared with an expression of disbelief.

Iitla nervously asked, “A-Is Mr Odo playing that way? Though still ... children?”

“Eng?” Odo pretended to be innocent and just tilted his head with a puzzled expression. In a surprised tone he asked back, “Main what?”

“Ti-It's okay .... What did you come to that place for?” ask Iitla.

“Oh ...” Odo nodded lightly, sighed and replied, “I went there looking for information and reviewing the conditions. You know, my attempted murder by the Moloia people could have happened actually because of the district's less conducive conditions and less oversight. The place had an adverse effect on the servants.”

Lisia, Iitla, and Wiskel gasped at it. The Mylta Municipal Government increasingly showed an expression of rejecting the components of the plan, really showing an expression of agreement if they made a decision to refute.

Odo briefly squinted as he watched them, then in a stern tone again explained, “As you know, if war happens, the front line is the port where the prostitutes live. We can drive those bitches out, but someday they'll stab them in the back if they use that. Instead of adding enemies why not make them partners?”

“Rekan?” Iitla stared intently, without considering a few things she in a judgmental tone said, “What could those weak women be?!”

Odo was annoyed when he heard the phrase gender discrimination come out of Iitla's mouth. She understood that the concept of women as a form of weakness and damage was embedded in the military, especially for Felixia. A prostitute is a figure that makes knights and heroes destroyed, it has become the basic values and morals of the majority of society.

“Female weak, yes?” Odo slightly smiled faintly with an annoyed expression.

“Ya!”

“You know, Mr. Iitla. The Kingdom of Felixia's Matrilineal, loh. The power and the line of the highest nobility are derived from the Queen's descendants, in other words women.”

Iitla flinched, as did Lisia and Wiskel. They do know this but all their life they have never used it as a basis for their mindset. Iitla fell silent because she did not find a suitable sentence to refute, but still her face did not show any satisfaction over it.

Odo watched it very clearly and looked at the Head Warrior with a faint smile on his face. While holding onto Iitla's shoulder, the young man with black hair said, “Master Iitla until this moment is not married, ‘kan?”

“Hah?”

The question left everyone who heard it astonished, especially Iitla herself. The Warrior's head raised his left eyebrow, looked puzzled and asked, “What's the matter? I'm too busy being the Chief Warrior of this city ..”.

Odo lifted his hand from Iitla's shoulder, stopped smiling and clearly said, “The man is weak, the man is very weak and easily worried. As powerful and perfect as they are in society, they cannot stand alone. That's why women are needed.”

“What ... do you mean, Mr Odo?” ask Iitla confused.

“You came there to entertain yourself, didn't you? Although Mr. Iitla has a reputation and many are loyal, the majority of them are men .... You came to that place just to get rid of loneliness, didn't you?”

Iitla's face instantly flushed red, then frantically said, “A-A-What are you talking about, Mr Odo?! I may be that weak! Who is lonely!”

Odo put on a sullen face, his forehead frowned again and he asked, “Honestly I was surprised, the men in this room have mostly come to that place and had fun there, right? Why do you even want to destroy it? Want to erase your dark history, huh?”

“““!!!”””

Almost all of the men in the room who heard the phrase reacted, they turned their eyes away and began to break out in cold sweat. The statue that saw the reaction frowned, in the mind of the eldest son of the Rein family did not want to be like those who like to have fun with women and play around with the world of prostitution.

While bowing his face and not looking at anyone, Odo again said, “Master Iitla often comes to that place periodically while being free .... Mr. Aprilo, Mr. Wicead, Mr. Joe, when you already have a wife but have also played to such a place. Do you have a mistress and become greedy because you get a lot of money?”

The people called Odo were instantly speechless, unable to comment as their secret was completely held by the young man in black hair. The Executive's Personal Butler approached his master, held his shoulder and with a sharp gaze asked, “Let's explain that to me, Mr. Aprilo. Take it easy, I won't report it to Madam depending on your answer ...”

The executive was instantly pale, only able to tremble and turn his gaze away guiltily. Seeing Odo so easily urge all the stubborn people of the trade union, Arca curiously asked, “Where do you know that, Odo? I didn't think you could get such information ...”

“I asked directly and they provided the information,” replied Odo.

“Cannot be! They are famous for meeting about high-end customer information!” say Iitla directly. “A—!” He immediately gasped and realized that he had dug his own grave, adding to the disgusted look of Lisia.
