Chapter 63 : Aswad 10 of 15 “Unlasting Love” (Part 02)
None of the demons denied it. They all bowed obediently and were indeed satisfied with the achievements that had been obtained. The demons returned to their respective lands to announce their departure, then regrouped at a place to go home together to the Gate.
But some kings have their own thoughts. The feeling of not wanting to let go, the desire to control the demons, and the lust for power began to fill the Kings. At a bay that borders the new land with the old land, a joint army of several lands suddenly confronted the demons and attacked them.
As the Devils reveal when they come to the cities, they are very weak and only strong when using their policies and planning things carefully. The demons felt betrayed in the worst way, running around, wrath and cursing the races from the peak.
Many demons were killed and their souls were destroyed when the body that housed them died. Some of the demons that survived the ambush ran back to where the Demon King lived.
The Demon King who was just about to catch up to them was shocked to see his followers severely injured and many killed. He was at once enraged to see the foolish actions of the descendants of those he had helped.
Of the hundreds of followers consisting of the Pure Devils, the Blood Devil Race, and the other races who believed in the wisdom of the King, the, the ones who managed to survive and return to the city were only the 12 Pure Devils alone and a few of his followers. Seven of them were the Great Sins, and the rest were other races who believed in the policies of the Demon King.
“If that's what you're expecting, fine! I will destroy you‼ I'll make sure you stupid races get the rewards!!”
The declaration was directed at countries that launched attacks on the followers of the Demon King. Forgetting his obligation to return, the Demon Lord unhesitatingly declared war on the entire land.
The first step he took was to create a country for him and his own followers, controlling monsters and inciting races from the highlands to fight each other.
It is not difficult for the Demon King. Messing up was easier than keeping order, manipulating to kill each other was very easy for him. The 12 Devils became the windows of his country, then began to form armies in a city and conquered many lands under the rule of the Demon King.
Yet less than a decade, the Sky Party glanced over the land and determined the demons were in violation of their agreement formed after the War of Gods and Demons. The angels descended, the gods giving rise to their incarnations in various forms. The divine beings again set foot on the surface to restore the land to a neutral place.
“You, Viceroy of the Devil nation ⸻ Know that you have made the sacrifice of your predecessors in vain. You have forgotten the covenant we made with your former King. When we end that war and flood this world with water to erase the dark history, we should promise that we will never again affect this world. But ..., you broke it …. Therefore, we will again exterminate you from this world on the orders of our Master.”
The sky only came and warned, they did not interfere directly and only unleashed a pair of calamities. From another dimension, the two sisters of Leviathan were sent down to the Real World to cleanse the Demon King and his followers.
Zialina Seliari Urganisalinez and Zialina Mariana Semestaris, two daughters of the Great Dragon God King who were cursed madly by the Ancient Demon King.
They were one of the guarantees in the Ancient Demon King's agreement with the Gods, a Great figure who turned into a celestial pawn and became a system to maintain world order. Without any sense, just following instinct and not even the Sky Party could control them completely.
A Black Dragon that ruled the sky and spouted fire and a Drake as big as a mountain that with just his steps could bring about an earthquake. The two Great Dragons actually came just to cleanse the Demon King and restore the world to its original state.
It was not recorded as a war by history, it was only really pure as a purge and those who remembered it referred to it as “Holy Punishment” of Heaven. The ambition of the Demon King to rule the Real World was dashed by the Great Dragons.
Sacrificing himself on the front lines, the Demon King confronted the two Great Dragons in order to give his followers time back to Hell. Of the 12 Pure Devils who became his followers to carry out the ambition, only a few managed to return and his believers only dozens managed to survive.
The Demon King died by the will of the sky, and the doom-bearer Great Dragons were pulled back to the dimension where they were locked up after the task was over.
However, the inhabitants of the real world instantly make the divine beings who do nothing for them as figures to be worshiped. Belief, in other words Religion was created by these Mortal beings and made the divine beings they believed to be powerful as Protective Gods.
But after decades passed, differences in trust again led to conflict. Using the knowledge left behind by the demons, the Mortal began to use it as if it were their own and a place to be born between the actual races of the brothers. A time of war also occurred.
The gods who saw it felt that the war had arisen because of their arrival to the Real World. However, that does not mean that the heavenly beings can do something to improve it.
Due to the prohibition of higher beings and Arsh, those belonging to the Utopian society could not interfere. Even the surface Deities had to immediately set foot and return to their realms.
One by one the divine beings began to leave the world. Because betrayed, disappointed, desperate to the Mortal and there are also those who have been satisfied because the goal of coming to the Real World is fulfilled.
Among the dozens of celestial beings, there are two Goddesses who do not come back to their nature. Among them because they began to love the world, then among them because they had been expelled for their sins.
The two sedentary Goddesses brought their concept, then began to spread something called Magic to the Mortal. It was different from what the monsters had, its nature was more beautiful and useful for the lives of many people.
Some countries accept the new knowledge and spread it for good, but some use it for ambition and fulfilling their desires.
Whatever it was, magic for the Mortal was just a new tool that they could use and nothing more. Especially for humans themselves who have a tendency to quickly learn and adapt because of their shorter lifespan when compared to other races.
The Witch of Orgin, Enimalis, Lora Anima, Great Master, Master, the main figure spreading the magic was called by various names. But of all the calls, the most commonly heard is just one. Witch ⸻ That is how the Mortal called the divine figure who was descended from the divine throne and spread the magic.
When all the divine beings completely left the Real World and no longer gave rise to their incarnations, the place became deserted and conflict broke out again. Wars quickly emerged, on a large scale and using more lethal weapons.
“Either in any time, they remain unchanged. Always touching taboos and breaking covenants,” said one of the last Gods before leaving the world. Those who came to the Real World of their own accord, ended up re-electing in disappointment.
However it was not for the two Goddesses who chose to stay forever and give up their divinity. A person who loves knowledge and who loves his country. One of them came because he was cast out and one of them came of his own will to love a country. Although they had different desires, the two Goddesses decided not to violate each other's boundaries.
They share their skills, knowledge and help each other. One Goddess got the knowledge to protect her country, then spread it to her people as a blessing of protection. While the other Goddess gets a city from the knowledge she gets, to help her in order to research and develop knowledge freely.
The two places will be called Felixia and Miquator, both countries formed for the benefit of the divine beings who choose to settle.
When a new civilization began to be built, a new calendar was created as a new record of history. It is calculated from the year the Gods left the Real World, using an abandoned astrological system of one of the divine beings and until now known as the Pendulum Calendar. The first year of civilization began.
Full of war every year. Crushing, building, progressive and regressive becomes commonplace. A hundred years of war, then a leader emerged who brought peace. But after the leader died, the war again broke out in a larger scope. Such a cycle keeps repeating and repeating as if without end.
Mainland Michigan, that's how the races call the real world they live in. Not knowing who first gave the name, but it felt familiar and quickly spread throughout Mortal. Making the name the only mutual agreement they agreed to in the absence of conflict.
