The words made Notmarina tremble, afraid to pull the trigger and the bloody picture of the children's corpses glimpsed in her head. Without himself noticing, he stepped back and began lowering the muzzle of his rifle.
Laura who was aware of her partner's guilt gave a small glance, again put on a cold expression and looked towards Di’in. The Second Lieutenant held the barrel of his colleague's rifle while saying, “I will interrogate him .... He'll die if left like that, you don't need to add guilt.”
Laura walked over, stood in front of Di’in and immediately flung away the woman's rifle with her legs. The situation is so similar to the incident 17 years ago, where Laura stood before Di’in who could not do anything. Sensing her helplessness and weakness that made no difference to the situation, the brown-haired woman added tears in frustration at feeling like she was not developing at all even though time had passed.
“Why did you kill your own partner?” ask Laura.
Di’in raised his pale face — Berlinang tears and stared with the look of empty eyes, he limply said, “Letda also ..., why ... at that time ... kill your comrades ... in the city ... it .. with the enemy troops?”
Laura took a deep breath, narrowed her eyes and in a gloomy tone again said, “So, yes .... Orders from superiors. Really .., the A.I are always giving difficult choices to people like us. Alright ...”
The tall elf of shoulder-length blonde hair opened his right palm towards Di’in's head, activating his magic core and was about to finish off the woman he had once let live. At first glance he feels that humans are growing quickly, like the people he has served before.
“Goodbye .., Cornelisa Di’in. I admit you are a great soldier, your service to this soul recalls until—!”
“Laura!”
Notmarina immediately hugged Laura with her right arm before the companion finished the words, immediately pulling her back violently. Exactly less than two seconds after they rolled away, a spear of light came from the sky and instantly stuck right where Laura was standing before. Di’in crashed backwards and fell down against Ra’an because of the wind from the spear, the leaves were moving chaotic and instantaneously the air groove changed after the appearance of the spear.
Other than Notmarina, none of them were aware of the arrival of the spear that was entirely made from compaction of that energy. As Laura and her troops looked towards the spear of light with a tip similar to that of a vajra, suddenly a very bright light came as if it filled the sky and blinded their vision for a moment.
When vision returned, within a radius of more than two hundred meters the foliage of the spruce trees fell out completely until moonlight could clearly expose the surface. Everyone who saw the arrival of the figure gaping, could not believe that a creature from a high-level dimension seemed to be coming in the situation.
White feather wings that seemed to shine in the night, halo the pointy light above the head and the holy power that radiated so strongly. Laura was very understanding of what it was, she clearly mentioned, “Angel ..?”
The figure of the angelic youth stared intently with eyes that seemed to glow blue in the darkness. Pointing with his right hand, it gathered light particles and created eight spears that shone brightly around him.
“Dia—!!”
Realizing the murderous lust emanating strongly from the angelic manifestation, Laura immediately activated her magic nucleus in full and created the wings of a butterfly-shaped seven-color light particle. All of the spears shot towards them, aiming accurately at the eight people who were being targeted by the winged young man's figure.
Laura immediately manipulated her particle wings, turning them into a kind of tentacle and brushed away all of the speeding spears. The wings shattered instantly, while the spears soared into the air and shattered into white light particles.
The figure of the black-haired youth floated down, set foot on the ground and stood in front of Di’in and Ra’an as if he really wanted to protect them both. He picked up the spear that was stuck and had not disappeared, absorbed it and again increased his holy power. Notmarina briefly felt goosebumps with the young man's whereabouts, stepped back and said, “Laura, he .... I don't feel the power from him at all.”
“Ya, it is not wrong again ..” Laura created a magic circle on the right palm, slightly stepped back and said, “He's an angelic manifestation .... His strength is in the higher dimensions, all we feel is the presence and lust of killing him.”
“Letda, is she a Light Witch,” asked one of the Fairy Soldiers standing behind Notmarina. She was Magda Klitea, a long-shoulder blonde Elf, dressed in military uniform just like the others and carrying a shotgun that had been assimilated with magic.
At a glance at the two corneas of Magda's eyes appeared a magic circle, he analyzed the flow of energy of the winged youth figure before him and was instantly stunned as he was completely unable to measure his strength. Lifting up the weapon and aiming, he again said, “It looks like he is not the Witch of Cahya, the proportion of his body is purely male ..”
“Serious ...?” Laura began to doubt that she could win, taking a deep breath she said, “The kingdom of Felixia has one more person who can perform angelic manifestations?”
“How, Laura? We retreat?” ask Notmarina.
“What ... we can get away from him ..?”
Staring at the young man with black hair, they immediately understood the difference in strength. The methods of using fairy magic and angelic manifestation magic tend to be almost similar, taking energy from other dimensions and extracting it into its own power. Fairy Magic wins in quantity of energy because it comes from the Astral World which is rich in magic power, whereas angelic manifestations are superior in quality due to their higher dimensional base.
As Laura and her subordinates talked to each other to strategize, Odo simply fell silent on the spot and glanced back. Seeing Ra’an sprawled unconscious and Di’in severely injured to death, the young man in black hair took off the dimensional robe that had been hollowed out due to his own wings.
The young man put the robe to the ground, without touching it he activated the storage dimension and pulled out the silver blade from inside the robe. It floated upwards and reached his grasp, and the young man sliced the tug of his own left hand with the knife and let his blood flow to the elbow.
As if belittling those he had previously attacked, the angelic manifestation turned to face Di’in and Ra’an and splashed his blood onto their bodies. At first glance Di’in was surprised and with almost faded consciousness he tried to get rid of the blood, but it seemed to live and get into the wounds of the two of them. The young man's fresh blood enters the blood vessels, altering some of the body's makeup and making their bleeding stop and support their lives like a nano-machine function that regenerates cells from within.
Dor!!
One of Laura's subordinates pulled the trigger and shot the young man. But without being able to hit the body of the winged figure, the hot lead stopped in the air and instantly melted due to the high temperature of the invisible shield around it. Turning around and facing towards Laura and her subordinates, he again pointed and said, “Which are you? It seems not that the troops were attacking the Klista tribe..”
The voice sounded double, becoming a little unclear yet still understandable. Notmarina immediately prepared her weapon, channeling the Mana from the palm into her rifle and arranging the magic array and formula inside the weapon casings. At first glance glancing at each other with Laura, the pale green-haired Elf nodded and decided on a strategy to fight the angelic manifestation figure.
Laura directly took out an iron tube containing gunpowder from behind her waist, then threw it towards the winged youth. While still spinning in the air, Notmarina immediately took aim and shot the gunpowder-filled tube.
The duark!!
Explosions were created and a flash of fire leaned towards the young man with black hair. In the midst of the explosion, all of Laura's subordinates had prepared with their weapons and instantly launched consecutive shots in turn. Flashes of light were burning on the shell and the sound of clanging rang out in the forest.
However as the smoke from the explosion disappeared from around the targeted young man, they were all shocked as he was completely unharmed and all the lead breath stopped in midair. An invisible shield of high air pressure repels all attacks, whether explosive or respiratory.
Hot tins fell, while magic bullets decomposed into Ether. Amidst their disbelief, suddenly the pair of wings that were on the young man's back disappeared and the holy power completely vanished. But in place of this, instantly an aura that felt like a monster emanated strongly from him. The cold sweat Laura and her subordinates were pouring out, stepping back and completely feeling unable to win.
“And you are Elves, but instead use a shotgun .... Where do your bows and arrows go?” asked the young man in a voice that no longer sounded double. He rubbed the blood coming out of both nostrils, then walked forward while opening his right palm forward.
Notmarina unhesitatingly pulled back the trigger and a bullet of light shot out onto the young man's body. But what the Elf shot was just an optical illusion using a faint refraction of moonlight, the figure of the young man disappeared from the place without them all realizing.
Before Notmarina found the young man whose existence had suddenly vanished, the barrel of his rifle had been held and his neck was immediately strangled by it. Laura was completely unaware of the young man's movements, she immediately jumped at them to save Notmarina. The blonde-haired High Elf stretched her right hand forward and made a gravitational magic circle to attack.
“You know ...” The young man turned his head lightly towards Laura, gazing with a look of blue eyes that seemed to shine in the darkness and said, “I'm busy taking care of a lot of things.”
Kratak up!
The air pressure around the young man narrows Laura's right hand outstretched forward, making her elbow slip from the joint until her bones are raised and the magic circle she is preparing is destroyed. Throwing the Elf he strangled towards Laura, the young man kicked her back until they bounced and fell.
Before the two of them woke up, the young man who had snatched the rifle from Notmarina was aiming for them — Right on time which was almost at the same time as all of Laura's subordinates were aiming towards him. The atmosphere turned silent, none of them dared to take rash action.
“Damn it, I just loaded Mana into a sleeve,” Notmarina's mind while getting up from Laura's top and trying not to make any suspicious movements.”
The young man in black hair sighed, staring flatly at the two of them and lazily said, “I am Odo Luke, Son of Marquess Luke .... You're from Moloia, ‘kan? From what faction? Under whose orders are you here?”
The statement and statement surprised Laura. He immediately smirked a little covering his anxiety, then was about to stand up and say, “Hmm, you Dragon Killer it—?”
“Stay like that, don't move again! Fold your hands behind your head!” firmly Odo.
Laura knelt down with Notmarina, stared flat and began to feel that the young man with black hair knew the strategy and tactics of the Moloia army. He held his own right hand, then forcefully repaired the loose position of his bones and the pain instantly spread throughout the body. Raising both hands behind her head, Laura asked, “You ... know our basic military standard, huh? Did two people there tell you?”
“Not ...” At a glance Odo glanced towards Di’in and Ra’an who were unconscious. Sighing lightly and looking back at Laura with blank eyes, the young man put on a soulless expression and said, “A.I y'all told me so many things.”
The words left Laura and all her subordinates shocked, trembling in confusion and doubting the words. Looking at the visible facial expression of the blonde-haired Elf before him, Odo smirked lightly and said, “Rhea, Athena, Natraya ..., or Moska? Who do you think told me?”
The A.I names that Odo mentioned actually made the four Fairy Soldiers present in the place shocked. Among the subordinates that Laura invited on the mission, along with her were only the other three Elves who had high status and influence to know the secret information.
“Why would an outsider like you know that? What .... on the assassination mission that winter — Rhea betrayed?!” Laura began to sweat coldly, she did not expect that the A. I. who was most loyal to the kingdom of Moloia and peace-loving would commit treason. He stared intently with doubt, then in a loud voice said, “Where might the Master betray the homeland!!”
Hearing the sentence, immediately the Perception Speculation of the young man's black hair was active and his cornea briefly turned green. Flashing once, Odo understood the relationship of the High Elf he was holding with Rhea who was the A.I.I authority of the Technology Development and Research Faction in Moloia.
“Code 87 – Way K-W-Y Double A Route .... B-K-6-9-H-H-G-I-F-H-W-Q Patra Lat.”
What Odo said left Laura wide-eyed, gaping in disbelief and beginning to tremble. As the former leader of the Fairy Force Special Unit founded by Rhea — Laura is well aware of the military code. It is a code of judgment of transfer of authority if the existing conditions do not allow for Rhea to give orders directly.
“Cannot ...” Laura got up, stepped closer to Odo with a completely shocked expression to the point of not paying any more attention to the muzzle of the rifle pointing towards her.
Odo lowered his weapon and stepped back. But Laura immediately held both shoulders of the young man, brought the face closer and asked, “Why ... Master Rhea handed over the authority of the Fairy Warrior to you?” The words at a glance confused Odo, as well as all of Laura's men including the other Fairy Soldiers.
“Rhea just said it's code to stop special forces with the use of the power method of the unique Astral World, more than that he didn't explain it,” answered Odo while glancing at Laura's men who were still aiming with rifles and ready to shoot. Sighing lightly and looking back at the High Elf before him, the young man in black hair asked, “Elf blond hair and emerald green eyes, you also know the code. Means ... Are you right Laura?”
“Yes ....! Who else is it...”
Odo dropped his rifle on the ground, directly pointed at Laura's subordinates and said, “Let's talk ... Order them to lower the weapons and let's talk about this carefully ...”
