Chapter 55: Aswad 2 of 15 “To Be Hire” (Part 05)

“Talk? With you ..?” Laura stared in disbelief, tightly grasping both of the young man's shoulders and activating the magic core to be ready to use gravity magic at any time.

“Yes .... Isn't that better than us killing each other?”

The words at a glance made a sense of doubt arise in Laura's mind, narrowing her eyes and considering the code that the young man had previously mentioned. Feeling unable to let the person who mentioned the top-level military code be killed for granted without clarity, Laura raised her right hand from Odo's shoulder and signaled to all her men to lower the weapon.

“You sure you'll listen to him, Laura?” ask Notmarina.

Glancing at the pale green hair Elf, Laura replied, “Yes, you heard yourself he mentioned the code, didn't you? Doubles A .... Status of two leaders. It is impossible for Master Rhea to give arbitrary code to others ...”

“Could have him forge the code or origin say it!”

Laura just grinned stiffly at the words of her colleague. While staring intently at the young man before him, he said, “You're joking? Where maybe such a code can be precise with a single mention if the originals .... I also need time to memorize it. Even if he got the code from Master Rhea by force, surely he would give another code containing the order to kill this person without himself knowing!”

Odo was at a glance speechless to hear this, glancing towards Di’in and Ra’an because they were worried about their circumstances. Sighing and looking back at the shoulder-length blonde woman in front of him, the young man dressed in a white shirt asked, “What have you come here for? Whose order?”

“We have come at the behest of our Princess! To search for Black Element and capture it!”

The answer surprised Odo. The young man's cornea briefly turned green, analyzing the info he got and nodding in understanding after knowing something. At first glance sighing deeply, the young man said, “Ah, about MacGuffin which became the pretext of the action of Moloia move, yes?”

“You know that?” laura asked, staring hard.

Odo briefly fell silent, looked away and replied, “Of course, I am the individual you call Black Element .... The MacGuffin you're looking for is me.”

“Hah?” Laura was shocked to hear that, raising her right hand from the shoulder of the young man in black hair and stepping back with an expression of disbelief.

“And also ..” Odo looked lazily at Laura, pointed lightly and said, “Maybe your Lord Daughter thinks that Rhea failed to achieve her goal and gave the order to arrest me.  You know, the real purpose of A.I was just to make contact with me and pass on some information .... Things like catch or something like that are just excuses so that other factions do not suspect.”

Laura could not digest all those words quickly, she turned her gaze away and really thought about it seriously. Holding a forehead and staring at Odo with narrow eyes, the High Elf blonde asked, “Means ... You are an Incarnation of God?”

“Heh?” Odo was confused to hear Laura's strange words.

“Why put on a face like that?!” Laura lowered her hand from the forehead, looked annoyed and in a high voice said, “If you really are the Black Element that could be the pretext of our homeland starting a war, then you are the Incarnation of a God! Avatar of one of the Gods in Heaven!”

At first glance Odo was stunned, beginning to understand why Laura said that. Turning his eyes away and remembering a little that the Mother's base and the A.I in Moloia were Korwa, the young man rang his tongue because he felt he had missed something important.

Staring flat at Laura, the young man said, “I have no right to decide that or tell you .... If from the point of view of the A.I, I am indeed like the Incarnation of God.”

“Tak berha—?”

Laura's words came to a halt as she looked at the two young man's eyes. Death — Clearly such a picture flashed on the High Elf's head, making cold sweat pour out and stepping back trembling. Odo immediately released his aura of centralized intimidation as he stood raising his right hand to his chin, put on a faint smile and said, “We continue the conversation..”.

The smile seemed to be a frightening grin in Laura's eyes, she could not say and her mouth only gaped as she took another step back. Notmarina held her colleague's left shoulder from behind, calmed her down and said, “Wait a minute! There's one thing I want to know!”

“What?”

“Why did you order Di’in and Ra’an to kill his own subordinates?” Notmarina looks angry about it, points straight at Odo and asks, “You have the authority of Master Rhea to hold some troops from the PTP Faction and the Peri Force, ‘kan? Don't pretend you don't know that!”

Odo briefly fell silent, re-analyzed the situation and did feel something strange. The absence of the troops led Di’in explained a few things, he speculated over the situation and let out a small sigh. Lowering his hands from his chin and gazing towards Notmarina, the young man replied, “I do not rule them..”.

“Hah?” Notmarina began to get upset until her forehead shriveled. He walked past Laura, stood in front of Odo and said, “You want to give up responsibility?! Just be right!!”

“I don't rule them ...” Odo remained calm, at a glance understand why suddenly the information package he planted on Di’in emit a signal that will disappear before. The package he had implanted when the Klista tribe incident was functioning as a kind of life tracker, because that was before Odo could tell if something had happened to Di’in and could come directly.

Staring with a look of flat eyes, the young man again said, “You know, just standing here I'm reluctant. I told you earlier, I'm busy.”

“Then why do they do that?!” Notmarina was really angry, she approached and while pulling the collar of the young man she said, “Why did they kill their own comrades?! Were it not for the orders from above, they could not have dared to do so!”

“I asked back, what are you fighting for? What's for your safety and your partner's? The satisfaction? Of peace? Motherland? The gang? Or for yourself?”

“Jawab first my question!! Don't switch the conversation!!”

“I did not switch the conversation .... If indeed you fight for peace and your country, you will definitely do the same if in their position.”

“No sense!! What is peace with killing his own subordinates?”

“Seriously you say like that?” Odo stared intently with the look of his empty eyes, forcing the pale green hair Elf to remove her collar and say, “Hah?! You dare to say that in front of that lying woman?!”

Odo pointed at the two women who were knocked unconscious, leaving Notmarina unable to argue and step back.

“Relax, Notmarina ...” Laura walked over, stood in front of Odo and said, “We first listen to what this young man wants to say ..” At first glance he narrowed his eyes, feeling there was something strange about the existence of the person in front of him.

“I'll shorten ...” Odo glimpsed westward, narrowed his gaze and looked back at the two of them saying, “You know Di’in and the troops infiltrated here on a sabotage mission, ‘kan?”

“Ya ..” Laura felt annoyed because the young man could tell until such a plan. Sighing and trying to calm down, the Fairy Soldier said, “In the personnel and funds reports, we know that. “Tch, politics again ...” Odo turned his gaze in annoyance.

“You mind?”

“Tak what ...” Staring back at Laura, the young man asked, “So, do you also know that the first target of the joint squad of the factions is the Klista tribe?”

“Clist?” Laura seemed not to know, with wonder he asked back, “Suku travelers scattered throughout the continent? Not sabotage to Luke's government?”

“You have to answer my question!”cut Laura firmly.

At first glance the young man fell silent, gave a flat look and again tried to understand the nature of the woman before him. Removing Laura's hands from her shoulders, Odo stepped back and said, “I promise I will answer all your questions, but that's later. Now trust me, answer my questions first and don't ask much .... Please, time is limited.”

At first glance Odo was speechless, sighing and scratching the back of the head. Looking straight back at Laura's eyes, he said, “This is an order from the authority I have. Just answer my question ...”

“A—!” Laura flinched, her eyes blank and she fell silent like an obedient doll.

“Whose Princess are you referring to?” ask Odo.

Without her own will, Laura lightly replied, “The 30th Princess, Ulla Vrog Ma’tar. He is the son of the King and a concubine named Or’iama.”

Notmarina who heard her partner easily reply began to be suspicious. From behind his partner he looked straight at Odo with an annoyed expression, but he did not know that Laura was in the authority of the young man because he could not see his partner's face.

Not caring about it, Odo again asked, “Why have you come this far for the Princess?”

“Mendiang Or’iama is one of the figures who discovered the assimilation of ancient technology with magic now. One of his creations was Warrior Fairy ..”

“Last question .... What is your Princess' original purpose?”

“Prevent the outbreak of the second great war, then seek the truth of this world.”

“Hmm ...” Odo nodded in understanding and slightly predicted the nature and mindset of the Princess Laura mentioned.

“A—!!” The emerald green-eyed High Elf was released from authority, his consciousness returned and instantly absorbed, “Damn you! How dare to use such special authority!” Laura instantly pulled Odo's collar, staring intently full of anger.

“Oto .. ritas?” notmarina was confused.

Laura gave a glance in dismay because indeed her partner did not know about the Fairy Soldier who could not refuse the absolute orders of the A.I Rhea. Odo paid no heed to their situation, the young man held Laura's right hand which gripped her collar and flatly said, “Not to be angry, our time is up .... “Hah?” Laura looked in annoyance.

“Eh—?!” Laura jerks. Although he was not very good at detecting magic pressure or existence like Notmarina, but the powerful energy radiance coming from the west clearly made him creep. He let go of Odo, stepped back and said, “Ha-Eve the existence that comes with this high speed ..”

“Laura ..., this air is indeed ..” Notmarina and the other Fairy Soldiers also felt two airs of existence coming towards them quickly.

“That's them ..” Odo stared flatly at the western sky, sighed and looked back at Laura. Pointing to the High Elf, he confirmed, “Just ask your question and leave before you are burned alive .... I don't want to get in trouble either.”

Of all these things, there is a certainty that Odo promised. With a face of disbelief Laura doubted that and asked, “Su-Really .... You .... can stop the war?”

“Already ...” Odo stopped shaking the woman's hand, sighed lightly and pointed towards the north while saying, “I will explain later! Just follow my orders! You don't want any bloodshed here, ‘ do you?! Quick go ...”

“Ka-If they? In’in and Ra’an ..”.

Odo briefly smiled, then confidently said, “I will take care of them .... I'll make sure they're safe. You quickly go and press your magic beams, before they arrive ...”

Laura was silent, disbelief still lingering in her mind. But when the two individuals who came to their place at high speed were completely in a different dimension of strength, he took a deep breath and decided.

“We're retreating!! We're back to the coast!!”

Notmarina wanted to dispute the order because there were still many things she wanted to ask Odo. But because he felt he could not win without a mature strategy against the two existences that came at high speed, the pale green hair Elf just rang its tongue and patted obediently.

“Laura, about Di’in ..”.

“He will take care of it, you heard what he said earlier, ‘kan?”

“Tch! Alright ...”

With a heavy heart, they all immediately ran away towards the north following Laura. Seeing them immediately leave like that without arguing for longer, Odo breathed a sigh of relief as there should be no more casualties in the unnecessary fight.

The young man in black hair immediately turned around, walking towards Di’in and Ra’an who were lying unconscious. He covered his face with both palms, glimpsed from the sidelines of the fingers and said, “Elves, yes .... If there's a tentacle monster it must be cool, I can experiment.”

Odo crouched down in front of the two women, lowering Di’in who was bullying Ra’an and making them lie in rows. While smiling a little and imagining strange things, he muttered, “Hink .... Where could I do such a thing, there is no point.”
